He listened to our horror story about the other hotel and made sure we were going to be happy here. Very knowledgeable and personal. Front desk staff here was amazing. The accommodations are amazing too. Beautiful rooms, nice and clean. Thank You for going out of your way to “fix” our trip.

Reviewed By dianewT4464YVSmelly room. I rarely have allergies, but I did in this room. I asked money back and i was declined. Very old and dingy. Beware of icicles from front door of room. They come crashing down. Funny it's a large room, but they have a very small TV. Sink in room looks like it's not cleaned. I won t walk on carpet without shoes. Looks nasty what's growing in it.

Reviewed By ashleyclaude87We had an excellent night, our room was vintage looking, but with upgraded technology for cell phones/computers etc. staff was friendly, but bring cash for vending machines! Pet friendly, and late night hours for pool and hot tub was an added bonus!

Reviewed By OnAir29953856274Reading previous reviews, I have to wonder if some rooms have been refurbished and others remain a knock-off of the Bates Hotel! Caught here by blizzard conditions and closed roads, literally looking for a respite from the storm, and this was the only hotel with rooms available. Called ahead, speaking with manager, “Cat”; who was very curt and not forthcoming with information. Upon arrival, provided with upstairs room. Snow and ice were packed on stairs. It appeared no shoveling or ice melt had been utilized. Door to room was difficult to open, as snow had built up INSIDE the room! It was VERY cold in the room. Noisy heater ran all night, trying to keep up. Doors and light switches are covered with black fingerprints, doorknob malfunctions, requiring brute strength to open and close door, hinges rusty. Phone does not work (potential emergency risk?), sink faucet leaks and sink is chipped/rusty, missing tile around shower. Bed is propped up on wooden blocks. Electrical outlets are overloaded, with extension cords pulled across the top of heater. (potential electrical malfunction?) No blanket on the bed - only a sheet and thin bedspread. When I went downstairs to ask for a blanket, the manager rudely informed me that a blanket “should be in one of the drawers of the credenza”. I asked for ice. “someone” had unplugged the ice machine. “Come back in 30 minutes.” The icing on the cake was when the Manager informed me I could “go to Motel 6. They’ll take ANYONE there!” Save yourself money, frustration and be safe. DON’T stay at the Travelodge!!

Seems like all hotels now only like using a sheet and bed spread to keep customers warm. I turned up the heat and took the covers off the other bed. Breakfast bar had waffles, yogurt, toast and fruit. It was OK Best part was big parking lot to park my truck and trailer.

Reviewed By Tim HTowels used to prop open stairway doors ? Something smells like a swamp by the ice machine (I supposed something is / was leaking)? Part of the plumbing left loose in the tub. Parking lot surface looks awful as you approach. Walls patched where something was / used to be or attached. Light bulbs not working. Smoke detector looks 20 + yrs old from orange sun fade. Comfortable bed. Sink was in room with separate bath room (toilet/shower). Lamp courtesy outlet worm out intermittent. Micro and undercounter fridge in room. The price was very reasonable, but maintenance and detail is far behind. Depends on your expectations. Close to interstate, fuel, misc restaurant etc.

Reviewed By BextelWe drove down to Evanston from Jackson Hole for my children to attend MAT Camp this year, and we stayed at the Grizzly Inn for 5 nights. I must say that the location is great because it is close to the quaint and historic downtown area with nice little restaurants and coffee shops, PLUS it has a WONDERFUL park directly across the street that has a creek to swim in, paddle boat rentals, a huge sports field, playground, picnic area, etc. I never had to drive more than a half mile in either direction the entire week! The hotel was clean, the owners were extremely friendly, and I felt very SAFE there being without my husband all week. I HIGHLY recommend the lovely town of Evanston with its Roundhouse and historic train depot, beautiful old houses, excellent recreation center and extremely friendly locals, and I also will be staying at the Grizzly Inn again next year or anytime I am in Evanston.
