Great place to stay
Reviewed By flebetWe stayed on our way back to Denmark. We have stayed there before, and we will stay there again. It is nothing fancy, but food is great, wine is super and people are very friendly. Rooms a nice and clean. Breakfast has all you need. It’s important to have a balcony, just to sit and see the river running by, while wathing the boats and the wine fields on the other side. Do that with a bottle of wine, you will have no worries

Reviewed By Elvire1969We arrived there and there was not really a covid-safe environment. As guests everyone needed to serve themselves the included drinks like water and wine. I didn't feel save at all. The food was terrible. The room was nasty en not clean at all. The pillows were nog clean. There was light front the other side, Shining all Night through oud window. Alsof in the night the blue standbylight of the television began to blink like a Maniac. The same with the bigger wall light.I slept not at all The bathroom was filthy. We stopped our vacation earlier because we would get ill, if we stayed longer. Never again!

Hotel Dehren continues to delight
Reviewed By PaulLuehrmannOur annual trip to the Mosel was delayed due to the Corona Virus and associated precautions. Hotel Dehren is now open and back to its usual standards. Social distancing, hand sanitizing and masks are in use. The rooms are clean and ready. Parking is free. The owners are waiting to welcome you. We spent four nights here and enjoyed them. We like Josef's cooking so we also had our dinners here. Morning walks in the vineyards before breakfast are also very enjoyable. The usual breakfast buffet is now replaced with a served breakfast. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Comfortable room and nice food that makes you feel like home
Reviewed By 大虎 林Great welcome drinks and homemade cakes by the hostess, big and cozy room with budget price, which is also included a great breakfast. The lady also mentioned that I can have a noodle soup if I want. In the next morning, since she knew that I were going to next village along Mosel by cycling, She even prepared a lunch box for me! It is certainly a wonderful hostel. I like the atmosphere very much, and definitely will find time to visit it again! Although that the Mosel river is very beautiful and you should not take too much time for using electronics devices when traveling, however, if you really need the Internet sometimes, the WiFi quality is actually quite poor in the room and it sometimes even disconnected.

We had the good fortune to arrive on a Wednesday so we’re able to take advantage of the tour of the winery as well as the wine tasting. A lovely quiet village ideally situated for the major towns in the area. Unfortunately, we were a week early for the Poltersdorf wine festival but on time for the Ellenz wine festival which was a short bus ride away. Tanja gave us the tourist tickets which enabled us to travel for free. Weather was a bonus. The wine harvest was in full swing.

Reviewed By 425reginasEigentlich sollte es ein schöner Aufenthalt werden, leider teilte mir die Besitzerin am Tag meiner Anreise 27.08.20, dass Sie für mich keine Reservierung hätte, trotz mir vorliegende schriftliche Bestätigung vom 15.06.20 .Sie könnte mir höchstens ein nicht renoviertes Zimmer ohne Balkon anbieten... Klar können Fehler passieren aber merkwürdig ist es schon.. lag es vielleicht nur daran dass wir nur 3 Tage gebucht hatten. Schade ... aber so behandelt man keine Gäste. R. Sigloch Stuttgart

Reviewed By diePattyIch bin schon viel in der Welt herum gekommen ...meist waren die Hotelzimmer durchgestylt nach dem Motto weniger ist mehr , also Stuhle auf denen man nicht sitzen konnte , Duschen die vor sich hindröppelten weil Regendusche , kühles Ambiente als schick verkauft. Dies ist hier ganz anders!!! Herzliches Willkommen von Frau Heimes und Ihrem Hund . Das Haus ähnelt einer liebevoll eingerichtete Puppenstube mit alten Gebrauchsgegenständen und Möbel,die gekonnt in Szene gestellt wurden. Das Gefühl von Herzenswärme hatte ich lange nicht mehr bei einem Kurztrip. Frühstück wurde in der Weinstube auf schön gedecktem Tisch angeboten mit Kaffee aus der Porzelan Kaffeeekanne und ausreichendem Buffet.

Reviewed By NigelatDilhamMy wife & I have eaten there twice, both times excellent food, attentive, helpful & friendly staff. You can sit on the balcony and watch the boats going by on the Mosel with a great view of Belstein. The card is not too big, but the food is first class.

Wonderful relaxing holiday in a beautiful wine village

We were so pleased with our choice- the rooms were great, super clean and with all the facilities that we could have needed. The breakfast and evening meals were both first class and we were made to feel very welcome by everybody here. The wine was of course just wonderful - hard to find any poor wine here. Sadly we have to return home but having made the most of the wine tasting evening here we have a boot full of our favourite wines and various other tasty bits and pieces. Highly recommend this place, such a friendly family business and we do hope to return for another visit

Reviewed By TreckerGeldernWir haben im Gästehaus der Fam. Fuhrmann übernachtet, ein einfaches DZ. mit umfangreichen Frühstück. Sehr nette Inhaberfamilie. Am Abend nahmen wir an einer Weinprobe teil, die vom Juniorchef kredenzt wurde. Neben einer Vielzahl erlesener Weine gab es eine große Platte mit heimischen Wurst- u. Käseschnittchen. Toll !!
