Nice room, good breakfast with waffles
Reviewed By htwhOverall, very happy with room. Interesting layout: walk into dining and living room area, beds and sink and bath at back. Definitely 2 double size beds, not queens. The tub faucet made a whistling sound when you pulled up the knob for the shower (sorry, for that neighbor, at 6am!). Breakfast was good, with waffle maker. They had strawberries for the waffles too.

I had a 1 king room on the first floor across from the breakfast area. Picture of the room & bathroom are attached. Also pictures of the breakfast buffet room and dining are and business center / lobby are attached

Reviewed By ceceliad314I enjoy this location so much. The manager Ms. Davis and the staff are engaging caring and i look forward to staying there. There are several Hotels in the area. by far this hotel make you feel at home. I would advise anyone and suggest one night your hooked. Such a clean place , love the breakfast. I go 4-5 times a year can't wait for my next visit

Reviewed By kmeado452099Terrible. I had to wipe the room down myself. Asked for fresh sheets the first night. House keeping was not available which is fine. They didn’t come the other days though so I had to keep asking for sheets. Wrong remote to tv. Heroin or methhead downstairs from us. They didn’t bother me but still…. Just a lot was going on for almost 400 for 3 days

Don't waste your money
Reviewed By maryannaligMy husband and I just needed a one night get away. We wanted to try a new B&B than our usual one. We were so disappointed, and here is why: no one greeted us when we arrived, just an envelope with our key and to follow the directions to find our room; no thermostat in the room, it had to be at least 75 degrees, way too hot to sleep; the bed in our room was incredibly tall, I had to pull a chair over to the bed to get on it, there was no foot stool; our room was a basement room, just yuk!; no tissue box anywhere; dirty medicine cabinet; disgusting shampoo/conditioner/body was dispenser in the shower; skivvy looking toothbrush holder attached to outside of the shower; mold along the shower pan; absolutely no place to put my "stuff"...hair brush, curling iron, makeup bag since there is a pedestal sink in the bath, but plenty of room to add a small table; 2 of the 3 lights over the sink were out; furniture was dirty; no iron or board; mold spot on the ceiling in living room of our suite; room was run down; the entire building is run down; and breakfast, well what can I say....pre-packaged muffins, bread in bread bag next to a toaster, and I could make a waffle, expired bottle of orange juice, filthy coffee dispensers, hanging plants that shed their leaves all over the floor and over the breakfast tables. I asked if I could have 2 scrambled eggs for breakfast and was told they haven't had eggs for 2 years and they are not allowed to cook. Really??? If you wanted to drink alcohol in your room, you need to buy it from the B&B, since the notice in our room clearly states no outside liquor and if the authorities find out, there is a $1,000 fine. WTH, is this a Maryland thing??? The only good thing I can say is the shower water pressure was great. I highly recommend our usual B&B, only 30 minutes away, which is Miller Dunham Bed and Breakfast in Odessa Delaware, you won't be disappointed there!

Reviewed By 875beverleygNice bathroom. Room heating was poor, fan problems (noise). No lobby coffee, lobby closed. In room coffee was poor. Housekeeping did a great job. Was so cold at night we resorted sleeping fully dressed. When returning to room in evening, thermostat had been lowered to 60 degrees…. Brrrrr. Management did not appear concerned. When checking out, no one in office. We called and we were told to leave the key in the room. Will not stay this location in the future.

Reviewed By reneebR2017FAPulled in exhausted at midnight and was thankful to get a room that allowed my dog even tho a sign in the lobby said no pets.( they added a fee for it tho!) But as soon as I walked in to the room my mind was blown that they would be worried about a dog! The place was horrible. The decor and obviously not been changed since the 70s the linens and bedding we’re dirty and threadbare. Our sheets had holes and we weren’t even given any towels. The bathroom floor was weak and spongy and actually sinking in some spots obviously from water damage. The air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night froze over and was dripping onto floor that explained the wet carpet! Everything was gross and dirty! I was afraid to takeoff my shoes and brought my own blanket and pillows in. Then to top it off in the morning as I left there was a man who looks like he lives there abusing/beating his little dog in the parking lot. Reported it to the front desk and the young man said he wouldn’t check on it but he didn’t act very concerned so I called the police! And this room wasn’t cheap! I ended up paying over $100 which is more than I paid the night before at a nice location! Do NOT stay here unless you’re just desperate For a few hours of sleep and even then bring your own blanket and pillow! It’s disgusting ?

Reviewed By Z9363HZlauriemOne of the worst I have ever stayed in. No service at all, not even emptied trash. If you wanted clean towels you had to get them in the office. The tile floor filthy, the toilet had dry urine running down the front & the sheets on both beds looked used. Bargain price should still be clean. I would never go back even if it was free.
