Margay Lodge is located at the shores of Paraíso river, southern border of Yabotí Biosphere Reserve (declared by UNESCO) and in front of 253,00 forest hectares that preserve biodiversity in the region and host in its interior the province parks Moconá and Esmeralda. Our varied outing options invite you to live an authentic experience immerse in the heart of the Paraná Jungle: hiking & trekking, wildlife watching, kayaking, riding up rubber dinghies, excursions to the Mocona Waterfalls, among many other cultural outings, are organized every day by our hosts. Our dishes are homemade, abundant and created with fresh and local ingredients. Each of our charming cottages over the Paraíso river, is an intimate world built with recycled woods and broad and warm spaces to rest and are open to the river views and the Yabotí Biosphere Reserve. The decks with lounge chairs and hammocks and the private quay allow you to relax in the calmness of an unique and exclusive setting.
The place is quite remote but it's sooo worth it. I love laying down the hammock early in the morning watching the fog lift off the rainforest across the river. the hikes are superb, I get to choose from different hikes and other activities with a private guide. You can go tube floating down the river, horse riding, etc. Food was good, freshly cooked meals threw times a day. I stayed here by myself during my birthday and they prepared a special birthday cake for me. Thank you so much! The lounge and dining area are just so romantic, this is probably one of the times during my solo trip that I wished I have a partner to slow dance with after dinner. Butterflies are everywhere here too, They just landed on your arms and shoulders. I thoroughly enjoy having my morning brekkie and afternoon coffee with freshly baked treats in the porch surrounded by butterflies. It is quite remote, 2-3 hours drive from Iguacu and another hour on 4x4 on earth road. This might not be for everyone but it js definitely for me :) It rains heavily here every other day during my stay, but I loved it. There's something calming and comforting about watching the rainforest getting drenched. I came here to reset, relax and getaway from the daily grind. And this place provides just exactly that. It is literally in the middle of the jungle but the place was just so comfortable and quite luxurious for an eco lodge. I stayed for 3 days, it's not long enough IMHO. I just want to stay there longer and explore more of the rainforest. I definitely will come back for longer stay if I have the chance in the future

The place was terrible we had water inundation in our room no water supply in the morning. The whole tours available which they advertise were out of order due to high flood. noone informed us or other arriving guests . They lost our reservation when we arrived. Noone was around first. First showed us the worst room then finally we got the booked room. of course wanted to sell the worst room to the price booked for the suite Was no stop or shampoo in the room.. The food was bad. available only late after 900 pm when you arrive from Brazil its 1000. Internet connection did not work first day. The breakfast i had to go to the kitchen after 15 minutes noone cared.. After complaining management didn't want to give a discount. It never ever worth 1600 peso, Some people get vouchers and stay for sure cheaper. Hotell owner rich portenofrom Buenos Aires wants only cash ! Stay out of that place.. it s not worth it and with your money you support only someone in Buenos Aires which has not invested money since the opening of that Lodge. If you still want to go be aware that the place is called differently then the name over booking. They haven't updated the name..

Moconá Virgin Lodge by Dot Boutique is a jungle lodge immersed within the Yabotí Biosphere Reserve, in the province of Misiones, a few steps from the impressive Moconá Falls. We have 14 rooms with private deck that are in the middle of the missionary jungle, connected by wooden walkways and close to the Arroyo Yabotí, one of the purest in Argentina. We offer a varied program of experiences to be carried out in full contact with nature: zip-lining, rappelling, kayaking, bird watching, archery, hiking and stoves with tales of Guarani myths and legends. You can also taste local flavors in our regional food restaurant and enjoy our pool, located in a unique environment, which invites you to relax and let yourself be carried away by the magic of nature. Live an authentic jungle experience!
We were travelling in Argentina for 5 weeks and this was the worst place we stayed. Clearly there is a problem with management because the staff were really unfriendly and the whole place just has a run-down feel. This is a typical place that started out quite lovely and has been neglected. Our bathroom was quite dirty and the trails haven’t been maintained. The cabins are old and need some TLC and the dining room feels like a cafeteria – breakfast is really inadequate. Clearly no-one is taking any pride in this place. Avoid it if you can. Mercure -Iguazu This is a big, modern hotel so doesn’t have a ton of character but it is certainly good place to stay. We had a suite which was very nice and everything was clean and in working order. The food was good but the dining room really lacks atmosphere as it is huge and brightly lit.

As backpackers it took us some effort to reach Chacra del Agua since it ’s location is a bit remote. However, it was certainly worth every minute of travelling as it turned out to be a true gem and a highlight of our journey. Not only because of the fact that Sebastian and his lovely wife go out of their way to help you with every possible request, but also because their interesting concept and charming cabins… The cabins have a romantic atmosphere, they are spotlessly clean, spacious and equipped with every comfort. You will most certainly feel surrounded by green, and fully enjoy the lush nature around you. Sitting out in the evening on your porch will make you escape your daily routine, forget about the rest of the world, and discover the magic of silence. Best beds of our journey! Undeniably the best food experience of our trip as well.. cause whaw, Mariana is a great chef! AND not to forget, you will get to taste all kinds of fresh vegetables from the garden! Also, do not miss out on kayakking on the river below the property, where you will be overwhelmed by the quietness on the water and the beautiful nature around you. You’ ll be amazed by the impressive jungle on the property as well. Really, we can't recommend Chacra del Agua enough! Thank you Sebastian and Mariana! We loved our memorable stay with you, away from the major tourist attractions. Thanks for the open conversations we ‘ve shared. We wish you the best of luck!

At the heart of Misiones Province Jungle just adjacent to "Yaboti Biosphere" only at 30km from the Impressive Mocona€ Waterfalls (Unbelievable Excursions), we are offering you our lodging (Posada) with four exclusive two rooms cabins with a capacity to five people each, along with galleries, deck with a wonderful view and access to a water stream called "Arroyo Paraiso". We are sure that you will find peace, stillness, privacy and comfort.
It is a wonderful place that has four wooden cabins in a tropical forest beside a stream with a natural pool and a sundeck. You can do bird watching and butterfly watching, you can walk the trails, you can take rides on bullock carts around the property. They have very good attention to the guests, the food is excellent and the whole place is clean. I definitely recommend this place.
