Lovely hotel, ideal for exploring Eguisheim and the surrounding area. Warm and friendly welcome. Clean, comfortable, well-appointed rooms with good mattresses and linens, nice bathroom, small fridge, safe, nespresso machine and two coffee capsules provided and a small bottle of mineral water. On-site parking available for 4 euro a day (reserve in advance). Very good buffet breakfast, and good dinner, both with possibility to eat on the terrace (again reserve in advance). Do visit the Domaine Family Gruss across the road and taste their excellent Alsatian wines. The self-guided walking tour of the the old village is also fun and ideal with children. The only area for improvement would be to invest in air-conditioning, fans are not sufficient for a comfortable night in the summer months.

Hotel of great comfort located in the center of the village just next to the castle Saint Léon 9. Mélinda and Philippe Lambert offer room standard, superior, junior suite and suite rooms equipped with satellite TV, free Wifi, mini bar. Buffet breakfast.
We visited Eguisheim as we had seen it listed as France’s most beautiful village and we were on a mission to do the whole of the Alsace wine route. We based ourselves here first before heading down to Thann to start the route proper. Eguisheim lives up to expectations and is unusual in Its layout in Alsace turns. It is laid out in ever decreasing circles like a group formation in battle whereas other Alsace towns are more fortress like with walls around them. The hotel is right in the centre. We stumbled across it attracted by its hug and well deserved it turned out review score. Family run, the owners made a point of telling everyone they did and oversaw all the cleaning which was reassuring in COVID times. The exterior is terribly pretty and inside it is cosy and friendly. The bathroom was one of the best we had come across in Small French regional hotels in that it had a bath and a big headed shower. It was also roomy. The bed was comfortable and we were very happy that we had chosen it as a base. A good restaurant is a short walk nearby and it is right next door to a pretty church which has storks nesting in the roof. Storks were once in danger of extinction in the Alsace but they are now on rooftops all over the France and considered a symbol of fertility and luck. We struck lucky finding the hotel.

A very pleasant atmosphere in the young family hotel with hearty welcome of dogs and children. We had a splendid Choucroute accompanied by fine local whitewines, but also red if you prefer. You could buy them at wine-yards prices... we went for an evening stroll in the old Egiusheim with the picturesque townwall. The wall itself was inhabited which is not usual. Strange but so nice to see the inhabitants accomodate with their shops and cats! A fine breakfast! Parking in the hotelyard.

The hotel is wonderful located on the edge of a magnificent village eguisheim in the alsace in France . The hotel looks romantic and would have been if not too many things went wrong. We did not mind in the beginning that the WiFi ,fridge nor airconditioning did not work... not even that the window and garden part was not cleaned for months! But when we also ate one of the worst dinners ... it all became to much.. we ordered the menu of the house . Salad was good , main dish (specialty in the Alsace was awful and tasteless but the desert won the price of the worst .. a cake like beton and even the ice was tasteless Believe us ... we can have a lot but this was too much and influenced our stay in this beautiful part of France . The service was very friendly but the waiter nor receptionist did do something (like a coffee included) to make us feel a bit better

This modern renovatie hotel is located at the foot of the center of the pretty village of Eguisheim. It has a beautiful pool with a view on the wine yards. The room was spacious and the terrace was finished with nice wood. There is a bar, parking placets under the hotel and a great breakfast which could be eaten outside. The staff is very friendly. We were here only for 1 night but like to come back for a longer stay. Next year they indicated that they would have a separate room for storage and cleaning of mountain bike bikes. This hotel is highly recommended!

The cornerroom we had was simple but nicely decorated and had an extra one person bedroom adjoint. The hotel gave us a six day free parking card as part of our hiking arrangement. At night no traffic noise or airplanes, perfect. Goed breakfast and very friendly staff. Face masks required (October 2021). A small disadvantage was (for our room) that under the corridor next to our room a (kitchen? ) ventilator is functioning that gives a buzz, wich still can be heard in our room. That should be soundproof insulated or connected.

One of the prettiest villages in France and home to the Alsace wine growing region. The typical Alsace architecture and hilly countryside with vineyards - a short cycle ride to the village centre with bike hire available at the residence.
- beds are not of this time anymore; short, small, hard; low quality + great location close to beautifull winefields + beautiful pool, covered, clean and reasonable warm + Nice small palygroud for small kids (up to age 4 or 5) + biggen kids have great playground in village + own park spot in covered garage + daalt sale of fresh bread and croissants at residence

Camping Des Trois Chateaux may be the best camp site we have ever experienced in the Alsace region. We traveled in an RV/Autocamper and our intention was to stay 3 nights. Due to the very high standard of this specific site we prolonged our stay to 10 nights, before we had to leave and travel back home due to our work/holidays schemes.
