The lobby is impressive - especially the gorgeous chadeliers and the furniture is great. The staff are very attentive and helpful. They serve a delicious buffet breakfast with lots of choices. The staff work very hard to keep it well stocked. The food is very tasty. The rooms are also very nice. Beds are very comfortable and also the pillows and it was very quiet to sleep. My only criticism is the shower floor is quite slippery. I think they need to do something to make it safer. That would be my only complaint. The parking is plentiful, free. close and well lit. Lots of restaurants nearby as well. There is also a spa on-site that we didn't visit. Next time............... I highly recommend OTL Gouverneur Hotel.

We booked a night at the Ripplecove Hotel to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we arrived we were treated as welcome guests. We stayed in room 39, a lakefront room with a balcony, fireplace , sitting room and spa-like bathroom. It was the loveliest room with elegant decor. The king bed was perfect in the comfort of the mattress and the bedding. The entire room was exceptionally clean. The view of lake was so amazing that we never closed the drapes and we watched the sun set and then rise the next morning, the sparkling lake just adding to the charm of the location. We wandered through the property and noted all of the activities that hotel has to offer. We sat at the gas fireplace on the lakefront patio and enjoyed the view and peace. We did not eat in the restaurant but the menu was fantastic. We enjoyed a romantic celebration with a wonderful bottle of wine in our room! We hope to come back for a longer stay. A special recognition to Angelique Thierry (Guest Customer Manager) who went out of her way to provide us with a beautiful room and recognition of our anniversary. This property has so much to offer that one night was not long enough.

B&B with 5 rooms and private bathrooms. Heated salt swimming pool in season. Outstanding Gastronomics breakfast included. 2014 Regional Finalist of the Quebec Tourism Industry Award. Winner of Agricotour's 2005 Provincial Excellence-Achievement Award. Also included in the 2007 Art of Living in Quebec's annual guide of best choices under distinctive lodging the Manoir de la rue Merry and its thoughtful hosts welcome you into a warm quiet ancestral house that is furnished accordingly. You will be surprised by our magnificent environment surrounded by scenery of mountains and lakes
My wife and I enjoyed our time at the B&B. You can walk into Downtown Magog in 5 minutes, and our room and bed were comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well, and though the bathroom was exceedingly small, it functioned and was clean. I have two things that may help fellow travellers when they consider booking this location. 1. Language - speaking French would have created a better experience for us. One of the hosts did speak workable English. I like to converse with hosts and other visitors, and this is not something that could happen at the B&B or, for that matter, for most of the establishments we frequented in Magog. 2. If you are looking for decor reminiscent of the time of the building, I found that there were period pieces, but the great majority appeared to be from mainstream shops. There was also an interesting focus on wine bottle openers, but wines were not available, nor were there any suggestions of local vineyards. We didn't ask about it due to the language barrier.

Charms that honor the place, an environment that honors its occupants; thus is expressed the soul of Hotel Château-Bromont, jewel of our domain. I was in room 318 for 3 nights. The room was ok albeit outdated and a bit creepy - with a view of the 80s indoor pool and strange little "resting area" around it. what was very worrisome was the insane noise from the neighboring... ice machine or generator? The rooms of the wall were literally trembling when this noise/ engine came on. I woke up at 4:10am every night due to this extremely bizarre noise and trembling. Whatever is on the other side of that wall is very very scary. It felt like a spaceship was landing on the roof of the building or some sort of massive generator was being launched on the other side of my wall. Scary 10/10 would recommend 0/10 If you would love an experience that would resemble the film Arrival and are here to get tortured by strange noises and trembling - do stay, but have them pay You.

Charming town, well located, the Auberge la Chocolatiere is amazing for everything: the owners who operate it with their 7 kids, the succulent breakfast included and lunch that we ate, the boutique with all local products and the drinks we drank on the terrace with an exceptional view ok the river lake and mountains! We loved it so much that we still rebooked by phone for an other stay. The service was just unique. Thank you to the Auberge la Chocolatiere for this memorable stay.

Not knowing much about the brand, but looking at the prices and the pics I felt this hotel would give us an "upscale" experience. I cannot summarize my experience better than: it was okay, on the disappointing side. I mean, pretty hotel and clean room and friendly employees, but nothing that would make me want to go back there, really. No hotel restaurant, to start with. Just feels weird, even budget hotels do offer at least a hot breakfast buffet. Just a simple example. Which other hotel in 2022 does not provide a coffee machine in the room, along with a few cups for free? Which other hotel does not have 2 robes waiting in the wardrobe? Basic-basic stuff... you get me. At least there's a swimming pool (phew)
