Historic Domburg has been a destination for seaside vacationers since the mid 18th century. Wide beaches, sandy dunes and bustling boardwalks make this a popular summertime vacation spot. Renowned artists like Piet Mondrian have taken inspiration from the picturesque scenery. The beach-weary can walk or bike around De Manteling nature reserve, which opens serendipitously onto Westhove Castle.

We spent 3 great days in Domburg. This b&b is just next to the beach, which was wonderful. The room was cute, and we enjoyed the balcony where we had breakfast and relaxed at the end of the day. Breakfast was huge and very nice : eggs every day (cooked differently), jam, cold cuts, fresh rolls, croissants, juice. But even though we enjoyed our stay, I confess that we came back home exhausted. The house is really noisy, the walls between rooms are too thin, and it is badly isolated I presume. The last morning I was up at 7am (not my idea of a vacation) - a baby upstairs was crying, but the worse was to listen to people walking above my head. It sounded like there were elephants in the house. Then the staff started its shift : the coffee machine needed cleaning, the phone was ringing, doors opened and closed. Not great. To be honest I am not sure I would go back.

We planned to stay four nights and were so dissatisfied with the place we stayed just two nights. The place was clean, but it was cold just 20 degrees and in a big airy apartment it left our noses cold. We tried to contact the receptionist by what’s ap as suggested, by phone and email as there was no on site reception. It took 18 hrs for a reply on one these routes and it was to say the heating cannot be changed. We ordered two robes and asked for the largest sizes. The ones left were child size and we were told on the same reply that was the only size...the parking outside chaotic.unloading the luggage was very messy as everyone had abandoned their cars and there was hardly space to stop for 15 mins. The restaurant who have nothing to do with the accommodation were very kind and helpful.but they must get irritated at all the guest enquiries! We were hoping to celebrate my husbands birthday but the whole thing was a total disaster! Poor value for money but most of all uncomfortably cold!!! And a really unpleasant experience

We booked the hotel by reading some reviews and the pictures with Booking.com. The reviews are good so we reserved the best room and stay 3 nights in the Royal Suite room 101. It was our first time to stay there. We would like to start with the points that made our stay comfortable. The hotel provide free parking. It is a short walk to the long beach and to the main city where all the shops and restaurants located. The wifi is fast and stable. We could also work a bit there. The size and the room space are good. You have a big living area with the kitchen. But we were disappointed with the maintenance of the Suite. The condition is poor. There are scratches everywhere and does not look clean. You can always see dust or stains at every corner. The Shampoo and Shower Gel bottles in the bathroom were very dirty with stains. The hotel uses the refilled Ritual Product but we did not touch it as we were not sure with the hygiene. The toilet is very small compared to the full size of the bathroom itself. We found it difficult to breath when we close the toilet door. The breakfast choices were fine but nothing really special. The service was not really called a service for us. We needed to go to the kitchen to ask for coffee or hot water for the tea. The staffs were always in the kitchen or if you were lucky enough you could ask for something when they were at your presence. We shared this at the desk upon departure and the gentleman at a the desk informed us it was normal here. The gentleman at the breakfast was unfriendly. There was no smile on his face and no greeting at all when we entered the breakfast room . So we decided not to bother him but the ladies were somehow friendly with smiles. We were also very surprised with the Safety Box in the Suite. The Safety Box is not fixed at the wall in the closet. You can move a whole safe easily. We informed at the desk and again were informed that all the Safety Box in the hotel is like that. They are not fixed. My husband and I were very shocked and said how it is called a Safety Box if we can take it out from the room. The answer was who would do that. Again another shock. The gentleman at the desk was neutral with all the feedbacks we shared to him. There was no sign of empathetic or understanding the guests. We travel a lot and this was the first hotel we experienced such typically issues. Lucky we did not stay long. Our experiences at the hotel were from our points of view and personal tastes. We hope the above could be useful of helpful for the travellers who expect the same standards of service like us.

Vierwegen offers the ultimate service and personal attention. The 3-star hotel enjoys a unique location in the city centre of the famous seaside resort Domburg. At entrance you will immediately notice the tasteful and intimate decor. Enjoy a warm welcome in our pancake house. The hotel is situated at the first floor. The cosy bedrooms offer full comfort, with beautiful bathrooms and sunnny balconies. You will start your day off with delicious breakfast. Also half board is an option. At the upper floor you will find a luxurious and beautifully decorated apartment. It contains a great kitchen (with dishwasher), two bedrooms and a small balcony.
We stayed here for one night and want to go back. We had the apartment which is charming and overlooks the Groentje Square in the Centre. Best time sleeping! Breakfast was quite simple but filling and delicious, incl boiled egg and fresh made Pancakes. Highly recommended!

We arrived for one night as a stop off before we drove back to Dunkirk to get the ferry and we were pleasantly surprised, the room is like a small well furnished apartment, lovely spacious bathroom and very friendly staff. We went out for something to eat in Domburg and it had plenty of bars and restaurants and not far from the sea, which has a lovely beach. The receptionist was really lovely and helpful. We will definately be back the next time we travel across Europe, one of the best hotels we have stayed in.

Stayed at this hotel 7-11 June 2021. Great location, the hotel was probably 100 meters from the beach. Free parking on the premises which is a big bonus as parking fee can be ridiculous. Restaurants are nearby and plenty to choose from. Staff is friendly. Room is well appointed, spacious, air-conditioned, 2 TV's (one in the sleeping area and one in the sitting area. The room is equipped with a kitchenette with all the necessary thing to prepare a meal if you so desire. There is an in room safe but you have to pay for it and it is not big enough for a laptop. The breakfast is ok... not something to write home about. In all our 4 nights stay, our room was not cleaned once. They cited Covid as a reason not to enter our room. You can swap your towel with fresh ones as needed and you can borrow a broom and dustpan to get rid of the sand on the floor.

We were lucky as the hotel was nearly fully booked and normally does not accept 1 night stays but as there was 1 Saturday night free we got in. The pictures on the internet do not do justice to the rooms. We had one that actually occupied half of the first floor. Spacious, clean and well kept. With marvellous views. Very dedicated owners and a home made breakfast, served to the room. A true find and heartily recommended.
