Good basic accommodation with air conditioning in the rooms and a fridge which was handy for keeping drinks cold. We got over the language barriers with google translate. They had our room ready early as we arrived on an 8am flight Very relaxing place with a lovely fresh meze breakfast included. We only had a small snack here as the menu was a little expensive for the area and was in euros. There are 2 approach roads, make sure to take the one that is clearly signposted from the main road as this is tarmac but we made the mistake of following google maps which took is up the other track which is really rough!! There is a wonderful beach close by, no facilities but sandy and shallow crystal clear water. A great base for a night if you’re exploring the Karpaz peninsula.

Best restaurant in the area. Every single thing we have tried over 5 visits have been amazingly great. Their grilled fiah, squid, lamb chops and lamb shish are amazing. Kids also loved the chicken tenders. Amazing atmosphere, peaceful location, super clean and very kind staff. We have told them how much we loved the spot and will always be back. Thanks to all

Bu yaz 2 kere konaklama imkanı bulduğumuz livana otel’i tüm karpaz sevenlere tavsiye ederim.

Burhan’s is a wonderful place to stay if you would like to visit the Karpaz. It’s a wonderful location and Burbank and his family and staff are attentive in every way. The hotel is not the finished article, but this in no way detracted from our stay. I visited with my wife and her sister and husband (who live in Northern Cyprus) all 3 of them have visited Burhans before and told me about its charm, it didn’t disappoint ! The amenities, restaurant and pool is lively, the vista they overlook absolutely stunning. The food was some of the best I have experienced in Cyprus and the drink measures ample ! The accommodation is great, everything clean and tidy, well presented and comfortable. There is a steep slope down to the beach, but that is no problem, there was use of a golf cart, but careful driving required. The sandy beach is natural and interesting rock formations can be seen from the shore and when snorkelling. If you are looking for top accommodation with everything perfect this won’t be for you. But if you love the North Cyprus charm, a warm welcome, attentive staff, fantastic food and large measures, in a stunning location you must try this place. It’s great value for money and we have already booked to go back later in the year. The photos of the moon and dawn breaking were from the balcony.

Decided to stay overnight whilst exploring the Karpaz peninsular so booked Castle Karpasia a few weeks before on booking.com. We arrived around 4 pm and were immediately shown to our room which was number 3. The room was a good size with comfortable double and single bed, air con, fridge, tv and shower room and adequate for our family of three. The room was very clean. We had a good size terrace with table and chairs which overlooked the garden which had a variety of fruit trees and some pet ducks. The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing The family who run the B & B were very friendly and welcoming and spoke some English. I asked about local restaurants and after being given directions to a couple was advised that they served a simple menu of turkish cypriot food which we decided to take advantage of. We ordered Kofte and Gozleme which were served with chips, fresh salad, bread and home made pickles. The food was simple but tasty. They also provided beer, soft drinks and water. After a good nights sleep we were served a good turkish breakfast with eggs, meat, cheese, cheese borek, bread and homemade preserves and honey and yogurt. Again the food was simple and tasty. I settled the bill (or so I thought) and we continued our exploration of the area. Shortly after I received a message to say that my credit card had not been debited for our stay. After much communication it became obvious that I would not be able to settle the bill until my return to the UK which I eventually did. During discussions with the owners they were pleasant, courteous and understanding in the difficulties I faced trying to settle the bill. I would definitely recommend taking your time to explore the Karpas peninsular and stay overnight at this delightful little B & B.

The Karpasia Nature House is obviously new and still something of a work in progress. Firstly, it has more than one name. Directional signs refer to Teko's Nature House and the back roads through which it is reached are not recognized as existing on Google maps. That makes it pretty difficult to find. The tip is to turn off the main road at the first "Tekos" sign and then keep searching for signs along the way. The hotel consists of stand alone huts each containing an individual room set amongst a newly planted garden. All construction on the rooms and restaurant block seems to be completed but the gardens are new and still a bit patchy and there are signs that not all construction is over and done. That said, the rooms are completed and completely functional and built of attractive stone with tile floors. The dining hall is very big with both indoor and outdoor spaces. My room had a double and a single bed. The bathroom was modern and adequate but I couldn't get any hot water inspite of turning on the geyser switch. There was a sitting area outside each room mostly shared with the room opposite. Insect repellent helps to make outdoor sitting more comfortable. The wifi worked inside and outside but was a bit patchy. The Nature House is situated in the middle of farm land and not within walking distance of anything except neighboring farms. For some reason I had expected it to be right at the beach which it is not. It is actually quite a big driving distance from the coast. Because of the rural situation it is very, very quiet at night - a bit spooky even. There was one resident staff person while I was there and he was helpful. I asked for dinner because the hotel was too far from town to easily get a meal and he obligingly cooked me something at short notice. There was a good traditional Cyprus breakfast included with the tariff. The cost was very reasonable but I wanted the sea close and was disappointed to be so far away.
