The 19 bedroom Hotel which has always been popular with tourist and business guests alike has had lots of additions to update this traditional Hotel.
Very nice and welcoming staff. The room was quite big, as was the ensuite. In the morning the staff were very accommodating as we asked for a slight change to our breakfast which was done, and they always asked if we would like fruit juice, tea or coffee. The location is fairly central and we walked to where our event was held, just under 10 minutes away. There's a sainsbury's and a Morrisons around the corner should you need anything. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would stay there again.

Mark & Karen. My wife booked a night here for my birthday as a surprise. We were greeted at reception with a worm welcome and shown to our beautiful room with a wonderful walk in shower and very large bath. We went through 3 beautiful lounges spaced out between the 16 rooms in the hotel that were tastefully done as was the hotel, restaurant and wine bar....i could not fault the place. We only had one nites stay and did not eat in the restaurant because we had other plans but the full english breakfast was excellent. Owners Philip & Amanda are very hands on, friendly and easy to talk to. They have done a fantastic job on the place including a well stocked bar to cater for everyone. We could not recommend this place enough and will definitely return for a longer stay and restaurant. Forgot to add that we parked in a large carpark just around the corner from the hotel for less than £5. This i a gem of a place. We can only wish them both well for the future.

Family run 17th century inn on the edge of Salisbury plain. Ideal base for touring the West country. Situated close to Stonehenge, Avebury, Longleat, nearby crop circles in summer months
This is an ideal stop off for bikepacking the King Alfred's Way. Clean, modern purpose built units allow you to keep your bike in the room with you. The pub itself is very welcoming with good food and a huge friendly Great Dane. Only downside is a big climb back upto the KAW after a cooked breakfast!

Stayed for one night in a very comfy room. The staff were top notch and very helpful. Also had a very good breakfast. The restaurant is also first class serving excellent fish dishes and was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday evening. Both the dishes we had were very good with decent portions. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

We stayed at the George and Dragon last night and had the warmest welcome and customer experience. Amy couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The room was lovely and quirky with nice touches like milk in a mini fridge, filter coffee and M&S toiletries. Food was delicious it was just a shame there were on two non fish choices and no veggie options. Breakfast was high quality and plenty of it. Everything seemed to be locally produced or best quality products even down to the tea bags!! Such a great experience and felt very looked after. Nothing was too much trouble! We’ll be back !

My partner and I called in, with our dog, for a meal and liked it so much that we went back every day that we were staying in Devizes! Everyone was so friendly, and the food was good value and tasty. I have to follow a gluten free and vegetarian diet and the choice was wonderful - lots of choices for me, and all suitable menu options were clearly listed. Our dog also loved it that she had a fuss made of her!

Jenny and Nick made us feel so welcome here. The room we had was beautifully decorated, large, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. Nick was so helpful pointing out places of interest and locations to have evening meal at. Jenny does the best breakfasts that fill you up all day and are delicious. I fell in love with Hazel and Alan their gorgeous rescue donkeys! They also liked the apples we fed them! They have a beautiful B&B and the welcome and service are impeccable
