On June 8th we dined at Marriott University of Dayton and received the best service from Joe! He was attentive and made menu recommendations! It’s been a while since getting that level of service! Thank you Joe for making it a great evening and experience!

The room was shabby. The shower and faucet leaked. What they call a Bistro is embarrassing. The pool area....eech. Let me first state that the staff tried to be helpful. The place is understaffed and most of the new employees are poorly trained. They are nice but often can't help. Room service with towels and sheets can only available in the late afternoon. The Bistro food was abysmal. The offerings are frozen and microwaved. The "bar" was hilarious. It included a half dozen open bottles of wine (opened when, who knows!) and another 7 or 8 bottles of cheap booze. We decided to get a beer in the snack area next to check in. After paying $7 apiece, the beer was warm! The ceiling in the pool area was ready to fall in. The hot tub was either moldy or in significant need to cleaning. My friend and I wanted to get on the road early so we went to check out before 7 AM. For business reasons, we needed to split the bill. The lady at the front desk had never done it before. She tried to call someone but didn't get any help. 45 minutes later the charges on the bill were far higher than the room costs. She could figure out how to change it. We tried to call the manager the next day and left a message. No call back. I feel badly for the staff but I can not recommend that you stay here... even if you are desperate.

The room is very clean, the staff are friendly. But the room is a bit dark and outdated, not enough lighting. The window treatments is way too bright that we can’t sleep well due to street light. The wall is thin that we can hear everything in the nect room and in the hallway. Parking deck in the next building, not very convenient.

We chose to stay in the downtown Radisson because of its central location. This being our first trip to Dayton (to see the amazing Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson AFB), we had no clue that downtown Dayton was a fairly dead area. Even though the hotel was across the street from the convention center and adjacent to the well landscaped Levitt Pavillion, the area seemed to be devoid of life. We walked for blocks around the downtown area and saw very few people and very little activity, afternoon or evening. It was sad to see that the inner city had apparently lost its vitality. Perhaps because of that or just coincidental to it, the hotel property was showing its age and some obvious neglect. The front doors screeched from metal on metal contact as if they'd not been used in weeks. The shower curtain rod was loose and about to fall down. A number of furniture surfaces were marred or scraped. The bedside reading lamps were loose in their mounts and impossible to aim. One of the elevators must have had a short in the control panel that would take us to 8, even though we pressed the button for 6. And, best I could tell, there were only about a dozen parking spaces available on the property and about half of those were reserved for valet parking even though I never saw anyone performing that role. In spite of these negatives, the hotel staff (particularly Lawrence) was very courteous and extremely helpful.

The hotel was not very well kept. The room was very warm when we entered so of course did not smell good. There were also Nats flying around. No bar or the market place was at a bare Minimum. I wouldn’t recommend this one.not worth the money. I’m sure the courtyard was a better pick for less.

They ask people to pay with Zelle so you can't dispute the charge for them to take away your deposit. They also lie to you about the rent until you arrive there, they lock you out of the door then charge you $100 per month more to let you in. The manager is called Yasar Guzel. Definitely avoid this place if you can. Moreover, there are a lot of bugs in the room.
