At the westernmost point of the African continent, Dakar stands as a multicultural, diverse city full of vibrant arts and traditions. Residents from various ethnic groups present assorted crafts, foods, jewelry, fabrics and wood and metal goods at bustling markets such as Marche Sandaga or Marche HLM. The city is home to museums and mosques, cliff walks and beaches, and makes a convenient jumping point for excursions to any of Senegal's national parks and nature reserves.

First room (032) was ground floor right next to pool/bar which plays music until 1am and people eating/drinking right out of the room. A very inappropriate room especially on busy business trips. These windows should be made sound proof if you expect people to stay in these room. The room aircon was not working properly either, and made for a very uncomfortable night. I requested to move room that evening, and was told the hotel was full. I understood, and then kindly requested to be moved the next day to another room. After I returned from work o found nothing had been done so I requested again to be met by a rude receptionist staff who did nothing to help. After 4 times of requesting to move, I was moved to a downgraded room with no other remedy action. The hotel itself is nice but the room are very dates and run-down. Lack of bathroom amenities and staff unable to manage during busy times.

Pullman Dakar Teranga is the perfect mix beetween Business et leisure. An Urban Resort in the center of Dakar!
My company had a two day meeting in a very busy season, and there was A LOT of back and forth to find the ideal formula for our group. Mame Diarra, the Meetings and Events coordinator was flexible, a good listener and very open to our needs. M. Thiandoum, the banquet manager, was available, focused on problem solving, and always willing to help. A great team on a great property !

The hotel was at a great location, clean, friendly stuff, great facilities and great food! Certainly recommend it for a family holiday, business trip or even for couples. Better to get a sea view room, cause the view was worth it!

Manager was very responsive. Good team. Good atmosphere in the evening. Hotel very well located and secured. Taxis available the whole day. Price a bit high. TV channels choice a bit poor. Rooms are getting old (I come to this hotel since 2017)

What it lacks in size it makes up in service. Some of the friendly people you will meet and takes care of all details no matter how small. I was in a suite in the old building which was spacious. The bed was comfortable, wifi excellent and there is a microwave as well as a refrigerator. The room was cleaned early which was not a problem for me. The hotel is expanding so I hope my next stay will be in the new building.

Guest house, tastefully decorated. 7 Comfortable rooms including a suite (No. 6), Air conditioning, private bathrooms, free wifi throughout the house, breakfast, lunch and dinner on site (surcharge). Near the beach, transport, shops, entertainment, golf, etc..
It’s my second visit here. What I like is the location It’s closed to Ngor beach, restaurants and there’s plenty of street stalls selling water, fruits and little snacks The staff are friendly, chatty, and attentive. Room was big and airy. I took one without balcony which was fine even though I was in the room often as there’s plenty of common areas to hang out on every floor Some points to consider I had room 4 for 5 nights. I start my work from 2-3am which means I try to sleep by 10pm and take naps in the day. But this room is close to the kitchen and staff hang out area so I could hear the cooking, cleaning and their chatter, plus the nearby construction. Not the fault of the hotel but I did have struggle sleeping with the noise 2/ thé staff seem to be forgetful - I just have to remind Eg on the 5 days they forgot to bring utensils, yoghurt; etc Room Cleaning - they missed my room as well so I had to call for it Not a problem just need to remind

The area is good. Do yourself a favour though, and stay at Yaas Almadies where we stayed on our first night. It's two minutes walk away, on the main road, and not tucked away near a government residence like this one. When we stayed in February 2022, this hotel was quiet as anything, no buzz, no atmosphere. And the management was the worst I've ever encountered should the need arise to speak with them. I contacted them through Booking.com twice, and was basically called "dishonest" for stating the facts - cheers for that. I got my money back from Booking.com, after making a complaint. I'd like to explain the reasons behind my review. Straight up I want to acknowledge that I booked a family room, but it seems that there was a mix up, and the booking was for 2 adults only which meant that I had to pay extra for my kids. Even though I didn't appreciate it this, this is not the reason for the bad review. The hotel will no doubt respond and tell me how wrong I am, but here is my factual account. Customer service is appalling - in the last 48 hours I was called "dishonest" and was told that I could "leave a negative review if I want". On the day of check-in, I asked to speak with the manager but was denied this opportunity. I tried again on the second day - still not available for the customer. Not even on the day of check-out, when instead I had to speak to a rude and stand-offish supervisor who basically told me I was wrong. My customer service issue was that even if there was an error and confusion, there was no attempt on the part of the hotel to try and accommodate me. They also lied and said afterwards that they tried to help me find another hotel, believe me if they did I would have taken this chance. So that's the first point - awful management. Secondly, don't have breakfast here. When my son and I arrived downstairs, the croissants were swarming in flies and mosquitos. When staff saw us arrive, they positioned a fan behind the food to blow the flies away. Who knows how long they had been running rife. I realise it's a hot African country, but this was something else. I was told afterwards that I still had the breakfast - no, we requested coffee with hot boiled water and washed the fruit and had that. Another attempt at the awful management to displace the blame. Third, WiFi is intermittent, and is a different connection on each floor. It seemed good near the pool, but if you move to the reception you lose it.

Located in a center area of Dakar, particularly convenient to access the airport. Basic business hotel, rooms are quite small but cozy and very clean. Italian management with excellent food on the rooftop restaurant and for breakfast. Receptionist very nice and funny. Recommended for business people who don’t need leisure facilities.
