Costa Teguise in the Canary Islands doesn’t have a long history behind it—the resort area was developed as a tourist area in the 1980s. The sandy beaches are the town’s main attraction, but for a change of pace, visit the Fundacion Cesar Manrique, where you can see Manrique’s artwork and learn about this world-renowned local artist.

The totally renovated 4* Barceló Teguise Beach for adults only offers an elegant style with spectacular views. The rooms include a new concept, the B-Room, fully equipped and inspired by traditional local architecture. Most of the rooms have whirlpool baths either indoors or on the terrace. The hotel has revised its whole cuisine and offers a modern, cutting-edge style in all its bars. In addition, several activities and new services for adult guests have been added, including a superb U-Spa, 2 Infinity swimming pools, a gym and other facilities.
The hospitality in this hotel is top notch. Due to a delayed departure we missed our connection. After getting rerouted we arrived around 1:30am without our luggage. We had not eaten anything since early afternoon. We were starving. The check in took 1 minute. We were then offered a container of juice, some bananas and a bowl of nuts to hold us over until breakfast. We were extremely thankful. The room was modern with a comfortable king size bed. We also had an amazing ocean view which we took advantage of by sitting in the balcony in the evenings. Any requests made to the front desk were immediately taken care of. All staff were friendly and polite and willing to help any way possible. We spent our time by the small pool. Chairs were always available and there was always a nice breeze since it was facing the ocean. The lounge chairs were to close to one another at the large pool. Getting in and out of them sometimes became a task. We had a great couples massage at a reasonable price. There are many restaurants and bars all walking distance from the hotel. The beach is short 2-3 minute walk.Upon check out at 6:00am we were given some croissants since breakfast was not yet being served. We had a wonderful time here. I would definitely recommend Barcelo Teguise Beach.

We booked this hotel after seeing others rating it highly on Tripadvisor and Facebook and it really did not disappoint. We booked a deluxe double room but when we arrived we were told there were no deluxe doubles left so they upgraded us to a junior suite and WOW...such a superb room! Massive bathroom, huge double bed, sofa, TV, balcony...really spacious! The only negative I guess was that it wasn't overlooking the pool but thanks for the upgrade! The beds are super comfy, I always worry about holiday beds but these were really good. Power sockets everywhere, including both sides of the bed together with USB sockets. For the pool, there are two. We found the one outside the restaurant to be a bit more sheltered from the wind. Both are heated and there are plenty of sunbeds. Food-wise...you have a buffet option for breakfast and there's so much to choose from. All the usual bread, cereals, salads, omelettes, fried breakfast with the occasional English-style sausage and hashbrowns :). Tea, coffee, juice, etc are included with your breakfast. For lunch we ate at the pool bar every day, the food is really good, especially the Ceasar salad. Great cocktails there too! A big shout out to the two girls who work in that bar, they work so hard and do a fantastic job looking after everyone so thank you for looking after us. For those on half board, evening dinner is not a buffet, well, the starter is but for main course and dessert you have to choose from a menu. Fish, chicken, pork, beef, veggie, pizza, all sorts of food and really nice also. We arrived quite late at around 20:45/21:00 (it closes at 21:30) and it was nice and peaceful unlike one of these huge hotels where everyone is making a mad dash for food, screaming kids everywhere. There are two pools and almost every room has a pool view. Some of the blocks are two or three levels and the gardens are well maintained and looked after. It really is a great place, central to all the local bars, tat shops, etc. The beach is a 5-minute walk down the road where you'll find even more bars and shops. Entertainment wise there's nothing at the hotel but there are plenty of options nearby. We really liked The Venue, hated Abbey Road (what a dump) and we also found the 4 Seasons American Bar which had some great entertainment and a DJ from around 22:30 until 01:30. The Venue has some great acts also and the guys behind the bar work hard and they're really nice chaps. If you get a slip of paper when you check in inviting you to find out how you can save 50% on future holidays to Beach Mate properties then be prepared to forfeit a good few hours of your holiday listening to a presentation from the timeshare guys. We saw loads of couples walking around with them all day long, some of them were still being spoken to at lunch, long after we'd seen them at breakfast! It's not for everyone but it's always good to know in advance what you'll be letting yourself in for. All in all, we really enjoyed Oasis Lanz Beach Mate and we're sure that you will too! PS keep an eye out for the holiday Beach Mate cat :)

Our room was ok but getting to your room was like walking through a tower block. Concrete everywhere and I am afraid I was very disappointed. Bed was comfortable. Nice walk in shower. The beach opposite was horrible but there was one 200 yds on the right. Unfortunately the weather didn't help as it was very windy and there was a Calima. The food was ok. Breakfast was probably the best. The snacks were good at the Pool bar, boxed salads and fruit. Burgers were only hot when they came out but they did put them on a hot tray. Entertainment in evenings was ok, they tried hard. Drinks ok. We had enough of them! I wouldn't go back only if I had a fabulous deal. I thought it was overpriced. Sorry.

I made my decision to stay here based upon the reviews of this and the Barcelo Active Resort which is basically the same hotel. We visited May half term and despite busy airports the hotel was very quiet - partly because only half the hotel is open, the other half is due to open in July I understand. The fact only half is open made absolutely no difference to the experience - its a really good hotel. The half that isn't open is on the otherside of the road away from the pools etc and you would not know they are refurbishing it...you definitely can't hear anything. The rooms were big (we did have an aircon issue in one), they offered to move us but we decided as it wasn't sweltering we would stick with what was a great room. yes it was over the main lobby area and you could hear the entertainment but that was all wrapped up by 10.30pmish and really didn't in anyway effect our holiday experience. The all inclusive food and drinks were great. Buffet brekfast was a relaxing experience - we could sit inside or out and as good a selection as any hotel, all looked and was fresh. Lunch was A la carte and although not tonnes of choice we all really enjoyed. We did the main buffet on one day which was of a good quality, but we liked the a la carte because it meant we had a proper meal as opposed to the usual collection of different food types that we would pick up off the buffet. Dinner was a buffet starter followed by a choice of 4 main courses, which did vary a little. We much preferred lunch. Drinks were great on the Royal Level all inclusive - all main soft drinks all out of bottles, whatever cocktail you wanted with whatever spirit you wanted...managed to have 8 or 9 different types of gins over the course of the week and wines although not spectacular were all good. All the pools were good...Royal Level definitely warm enough, tonnes of sun bed, really good bar by the pool. The infinity pool looks good (its newly built) but does spill over on to the area around and will need sorting in due course. The main hotel pool is split in two, one was a good temperature - the other was little cold. Service was really good, not amazing amazing, but really good - everyone friendly etc It may be different when full as we really enjoyed the serenity and the ease with which we could get drinks, food etc although right now no reason t worry that it can't cope when busier. If you are wavering I would definitely give it a go - I am very very fussy when it comes to hotels and holidays and I, my partner and the three teenagers we were with all had a great time.

I must say this is the best hotel in the canary Islands I have been to. We stayed for one week alon an all inclusive basis. We arrived late Saturday night snd provision was made to give children sandwiches as the restaurant had closed. The room was amazing, we had a family room with a balcony, which again, was one if the best rooms I have stayed in. The staff and the service was fantastic. The food and drink at the hotel was amazing. The location is perfect, 20 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes to the bars and restaurants. I would definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone, it was such a lovely holiday and we booked through an EasyJet UK package holiday.

Be Live Experience Lanzarote Beach is a wonderful hotel that has a very modern design, cozy and ideal for singles, couples and families. In short, the perfect choice for those wishing to enjoy the sun and sand of Lanzarote's beaches combined with maximum comfort. This hotel has the ISO 14001 Certification, as a result of its effective environmental management system.
We stayed here for 10 nights and honestly we had a wonderful holiday. The staff work amazing hard, especially considering they all have to wear masks at al times. Shout out especially to Petra on reception who made us feel very welcome from the start. The entertainment team are lovely, Shirley and Daniel make you feel very welcome and Shirley made sure I feel comfortable doing some of the activities by myself. Rosemary the mini club entertainer could not have worked harder with them children and made my nephew feel so welcome even tho he was too young for the mini club, she let him play in there supervised and couldn’t have made us feel more included. We saw Rosemary treating the children like her own and it was amazing to see. All the staff are brilliant, especially some of the waiters, especially Augustin & Francesco, they made our holiday. Hernan and Alejandro were brilliant too, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. the maids do a fantastic job at keeping the rooms clean and towels and bedding can be changed daily if required. We had a sea view room which overlooked a beautiful beach but it was very windy on our balcony. We think sea view or pool view would both be lovely. Be prepared if you have a sea view you can’t really sit out there without getting blown away or hang any wet towels etc. We didn’t book adult club as we didn’t think it was worth it for the price but most people who we spoke to who had it, did enjoy it, if you want Smirnoff vodka, Gordon’s gin and proper Baileys. We constantly check reviews on hotels to make sure it was suitable for us and after a few bad reviews we almost didn’t book it, but I’m glad we did. To address some of the bad reviews: FOOD- lots of complaints about food not being hot but honestly I rarely had cold food. Besides if you wanted to anything up there was a microwave which no one ever used so that proves it can’t have been that cold! FACILITIES: Lots of people saying the pool area is shabby etc but we didn’t see a problem with it. The sun beds and tables are standard and the poolside is spotlessly clean. I saw about 5 cleaners whilst I was there cleaning the areas. ENTERTAINMENT: The entertainment is basic but there’s a different act each night for everyone’s tastes. They also have acts in the brandy well pub (part of the all inclusive) which was brilliant, it’s a shame these acts are only 2 nights a week though. My only suggestion would be to put on more acts such as quizzes, audience participation such as mr/mrs shows and bingo but hopefully this will pick up now that COVID has died down? Beside this, the hotel is in a brilliant location for shops/bars/restaurants if you want to watch shows elsewhere. I would recommend the venue for good acts there outside the hotel. It’s in a really good location on the beach and there’s plenty of shops, bars and restaurants near by. We went to a bar called the venue a couple of nights as they had good entertainment but the resort is full of bars. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay again. Just be prepared for the wind. Thanks again for a great stay x

We've just got back from six nights at the Club Siroco and didn't want to leave. We paid a bit extra for a Serenity apartment and it was really lovely (I don't know how they compare to the others). We were lucky to get a ground floor apartment and had the sun on our patio all afternoon. The whole complex is spotlessly clean and the pool area is lovely, with soft astro turf (although it does get a bit hot!). There were always plenty of sunbeds at any time of the day. We were on a half board basis and had no problem with the food at all. It was always hot and there was always a good selection. The dining room was never busy as I think lots of people self cater. Drinks were surprisingly reasonable, with a beer costing €2 and a cocktail €5.50. We enjoy walking so didn't find the 10-15 minute walk to the centre of the resort a problem - the main square is well worth a visit in the evening. The nearest beach isn't that nice but the main beach looked lovely. The nearest bus stop is a few minutes walk. Overall, we couldn't fault Club Siroco at all. We will be back!
