Corsica is a laid-back French island, with a breezy vibe that’s part European weekend and part tropical honeymoon. The port city of Bastia flings its arms wide open to weary travelers disembarking from a long ferry trip. For a truly charming Corsican experience, catch a train through the mountains to the beach, passing by rustic villages and grazing cows along the way. Take a few hours or even a few weeks to explore the island’s famous walking trails, including the varsity-level GR 20.

En amoureux, en famille ou entre amis, nous vous invitons à conjuguer détente et plaisirs tout en profitant des services et du confort d’une résidence conviviale. Bien-être et authenticité seront les maîtres mots de votre séjour!
The location is absolutely great, I had an opportunity to compare it with other residencies and hotels in the area and I have to say that Residence Marina di Santa Giulia is the best choice if you want to stay close to the beautiful Santa Giulia plague. We had a villa with two bedrooms with one suite bathrooms, living room and a spacious sun terrace with a beautiful view to the St Giulia bay and lagoon. The place was absolutely good value for money. The whole village (Maria di Santa Giulia is a big area consisting of several villages and a hotel with different price range) is very beautiful and well maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped, the rooms are clean. The girls at the reception were very nice and friendly, they helped us to arrange a guided tour to the mountains and gave good advice about the hiking trails, small hidden beaches etc. - THANK YOU!! We will definitely choose this place again when visiting Corsica next time.

Boasting breathtaking views of the famous "Sanguinaires" located 8 km from Ajaccio. This charming hotel of 34 rooms, all facing the sea and the Sanguinaires Islands. Hotel built " feet in the water " on the road of the bloodthirsty is led by the same family since its opening. The name 'Cala di Sole' means in Corsican language, The Sun Cove in honor of the fabulous sunset over the bloodthirsty islands of the Gulf of Ajaccio. With one of the most beautiful private sandy beach of the Gulf of Ajaccio, this idyllic hotel will bewitch you forever.
Padding the bedroom walls for extra soundproofing is a nice touch in accommodation that is otherwise straightforward & comfortable. It is lovely to open the blackout curtains & step out on the balcony to hear the sea & look out on the coastal view. The inside / outside area for the bar & breakfast area is very pleasant too - as was the sizeable pool. Pleased by the provision of two conveniently located charging bays for electric vehicles too. At the time we visited, the restaurant was not yet open for evening meals, so we had to rely on bar food instead. The 'tapas' was the worst single meal of our two week holiday! It was unlike any tapas we've ever seen, consisting of nothing other than deep fried vegetable in batter. Dreadful!

Nice hotel, very friendly personnel in all areas, reception, breakfast, restaurant, housekeeping. Breakfast is extensive and has a big variety. Room was good and beds were very good. Perfect is the fitness, wellness and swingingpool. Everything was clean. Also dining in the restaurant was great, good food for a very reasonable price, especially the trio formula. Great five-star hotel located in Propriano. Location is stunning, the whole staff is extremely nice and tries to make your stay as memorable as possible. The hotel has 2 in-house restaurants: - La Paillote (lunch and dinner), at the beach, affordable. - La Verrière (dinner only), delicious gastronomic restaurant with the newly onboarded Chef James Chauchat-Rozier accompanied by Chef Samy Loison for desserts. Tasting menus only (not à la carte), expensive obviously. Breakfast is very nice with a large choice of options: fresh seasonal fruits, different teas, healthy options (nuts, granola, goji berries, dates, honey, fig jam,…), but also croissants, a variety of breads (fig, cranberry, cereals,…), cheese from Corsica, smoked salmon, eggs, sausage,… Don’t hesitate to ask for lactose free options that are not necessarily displayed (I asked for an oat milk coffee latte and got it! As well as an almond milk yogurt). The cherry on the cake is that every morning, there are specialties made by Chef Samy Loison (google him if you don’t know who he is), the Pastry Chef from the gastronomic restaurant La Verrière. A couple of things can be improved: - the room was ok (comfortable bed, beach-view room with an amazing view) but the shower is made in a weird way: it doesn’t have a door which turns the bathroom into a messy wet-floor bathroom every time you shower, and that, even if you try to be careful. - The hotel is in a 5-star location but the service can be improved (heterogeneous staff: some staff here and there is extremely junior and lacks experience). Despite those 2 points, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel: - On the 1st issue, we reported it the next day: apparently the hotel was renovated recently and this issue has been well noted. They accepted to make the room twice a day to accommodate the inconvenience. - On the 2nd one, I do acknowledge that the hospitality sector has suffered from Covid and finding the proper staff has been quite challenging for the entire industry. It isn’t a problem unique to this hotel. Special thanks to: - Léa at the reception who gave us a warm welcome, a daily smile and was always helpful, - Laurence for her tips (what to do around the hotel and in Propriano) and for her daily talks at the breakfast making sure we were all ok, - The waiter at the Bar Williams, - The staff at the beach, - Emmanuel who recently took over the organisation of the breakfast and the service at La Verrière ; extremely professional, helpful, smiling, welcomes feedback and has great ideas for the improvement of the whole set-up: no doubt visitors this summer will be spoiled and lucky to stay at Marinca, - Laëtitia who is the best waiter, period! She serves at the restaurant La Verrière and in the morning for breakfast. Passionate, smiling, competent, definitely in the “5-star-range” staff. Thank you for making this stay a great one!

Great hotel location & hotel facility, right by beach, very scenic overall but a little isolated requiring a car rental or taxi service to move or travel to nearby areas or towns. Customer service was poor on occasions, mainly through no follow-up. Value for money is very questionable - several items seemed very pricey.

I had the pleasure of spending a week at Mariosa Hotel and I cannot recommend this stunning place and it’s wonderful team enough. Every inch of the hotel is spotlessly clean and the room has plenty of space. They offer a lavish spread for breakfast, absolutely everything you could possibly want is at your disposal. Most importantly, the staff at Mariosa are incredibly lovely and helpful, they can arrange anything you need and do it with a huge smile. Everyone, from the front desk team to the waiters to the cleaning staff are wonderful. This magical hotel is the perfect place to relax, a great base to explore the beaches and surrounding towns (go to Bonifacio!) and enjoy the notoriously delicious French food and wine. I cannot recommend this place enough, if there were 6 stars I would give it!!

Excellent ocean views from the junior suite with balcony. Very competent and friendly staff. Makes you feel like a long -term lodger. Unique breakfast with many hand picked Corsican artisanal foodstuffs. We also enjoyed Bonifacio-grown red wine by the glass at the bar before dinner each evening. La directrice nicely designed the lobby decor with bone fide art sculptures. This hotel is at the crest of the seaside cliff, so wind will be a gift from Mother Nature. It is part of the experience to watch the whitecaps. The rooms and the entire hotel are very, very clean. There is a commitment to quality and hygiene here. One piece of advice--spend a little more for the ocean facing rooms and ask the staff for beach recommendations based on weather and traffic on a given day. This is a highly well-managed hotel and I cannot say enough about the high quality of the staff. Also easy walk to the town for evening restaurants.
