The lobby and common areas are nice enough, but once you step into your room you will be shocked. The rooms are very dark, smell musty, and are severely run down. The couch in our room was badly stained, and sagged like a sad banana. The fixtures in the bathroom were badly rusted and needed replacement long ago. The worst part though, is returning from conference sessions to find bed bugs on our sheets. We checked out immediately and had a much better stay at the Marriott Walnut Creek just a few minutes away.

Reviewed By gursodh96Clean rooms, friendly staff and great location right off the freeway. Would definitely recommend. Fitness area, pool and bar are open again so that always a plus. They went through renovations and the rooms look refreshed !

He did a fantastic job and we really appreciated all his help! Overall, great experience and would recommend the CPH to family/friends whenever they’re in town!

Reviewed By HolgerG909To attend a concert at Concord Pavilion, the Day’s Inn is at an ideal location, since you can walk to/from the concert. Free parking/free Wifi/free breakfast. Managed to book the last room through Agoda. The room was run down, soft bed with cigarette burns on the blanket, dated furniture. The toilet tank had a problem with the float switch, keeps filling up the tank, creating noise. The room did not feel clean, no proper black out curtains, only blinds that had seen better days. The breakfast had cereal, juice, coffee that didn’t deserve the name, eggs, pastries, all served on styrofoam plates/bowls with plastic cutlery. I would not stay there again.

Reviewed By 49AlaskaMomMotel 6 offers the basics: a warm place to sleep, bathroom, tv, microwave, refrigerator. No shampoo or hairdryer. But we found this location to be very clean, in good repair, quiet. The staff was friendly, the service dependable and good. Many food options within 1/2 mile.

THE WORSE STAY EVER!

I tried to change my reservation to a 2-night stay to a 1-night stay, they could not accommodate me after I told them I was affected by the Northern fires and received word that I can return the next day. I was told I could not do that. I also requested a ground room and I ended up on the 2nd floor. The man at the front desk treated me poorly. This is not an establishment that you want to stay in under any circumstances.

Not a good first impression
Reviewed By O2itThis neighborhood is from the 50's Beware of Homeless people and low income looking for jobs. After we checked in and got to our room the smell of weed about blew us over! Very weird set up . New attempts of remodeling over worn out building. Pieced together with poor construction. Bed was hard and very limited access to what few amenities they had. This place needs torn down and rebuilt. Not worth the price.

Very rude customer service
Reviewed By Rachel99jones99DON'T STAY HERE!! My 5 year old and I checked in around 3pm. My husband was not staying with us, He was just helping with the bag and are stuff. The guy was very very rude telling me that I had to pay extra if my 5 year old ( who was staying in the room with me) and my husband was staying . I told him that it was just my daughter and I and he said " I will be watching your room to make sure that no one goes up there" He said he will charge my card if he THINKS there are any people stay with me. NO VISTORS. That's crazy, I was going through so much stuff and Could really have enjoyed some company for a hour or so, but I didn't want to be charged so I didn't invite anyone. On top of it , the guy really dose stand out side all night watching!! With them acting like that you would think I was staying at the Ritz Carlton!! The room was NOT clean. The trash can looked like someone VOMITED in it and they just left it there to dry ( SEE PHOTOS) and coffee was OPEN when I got there, (SEE PHOTOS) and the towels were not very clean. (SEE PHOTOS) The mini fridge did NOT work but I paid extra for that! With COVID-19 going on its very important that GUESTS feel like they are in a CLEAN room!! I had to go to the store and buy my own towel and disinfected cleaning spray to clean the room my self. I tried to get a refund and leave but the guy would not let me get a refund so I stayed. This place is just bad!!! the price I paid, I thought was a good deal but nope!! the place was VERY DIRTY and GROSS and I had no other choice but to stay there because he wouldn't give me a refund.
