Reviewed By Storyteller586039Hotel was typical of Holiday Inns across the east coast of USA. Customer service of front desk unprofessional. This was not up to standard for Holiday Inns. Personnel need hotel standards reinforced by the corporation. I now stay at other hotels.

Very convenient to restaurants and shopping, you couldn’t really ask for much more on restaurant availability. Convenient to Virginia Tech. Hard to beat. Great attention to detail. We will definitely stay here again.

Reviewed By John MConveniently located near the highway. Hotel appears clean and modern. Good breakfast set up and the business center is very nice. My only real complaint is that I cannot understand why this place does not have Smart TVs in the rooms - these are pretty normal these days.

Reviewed By sgh8361This location was clean, well lit in the evening hours, extremely quiet. I would recommend staying at this location for quality and affordable price. The staff was courteous and very pleasant. The room and the bedding were clean.

We are less than four miles from Radford University and eight miles from Christiansburg Aquatic Center. Breathe in the mountain air on our big patio or chill with a game in the lobby. We also have an indoor pool and fitness center.

It's not far from Christiansburg proper, maybe fifteen minutes or so, and close to Radford as well. It is in a quiet location, and there is a county park next door as well. The room was very clean and nice, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was alright and the staff were very nice. Thanks for a great stay!

Stay Somewhere Else
Reviewed By Cathy CI do not recommend this property. There are so many better options available in the Christiansburg/Blacksburg area. This property is billed as a "hotel," but is actually a "motel," with outdoor access to the rooms. Having to go out in the rain and around the building to access the lobby was unpleasant & inconvenient. The stairwell and other outdoor areas were dingy, dirty, and poorly maintained. Our hotel room was musty & damp. The rod to open the room darkening curtains was broken. The toilet was not securely adhered to the floor and wobbled when you sat on it. The room was very dark & cave-like with terrible bathroom lighting. Lamps were bolted down to the table and desk (as if we were going to steal one!), so we couldn't move them at all. We had a regular room with a king bed & pullout sofa - The pullout sofa-bed was incredibly uncomfortable - felt like a bunch of springs with a blanket on top of them. There was no closet - only a very small armoire that was too short to hang a dress without it dragging on the floor. There were also no bathroom shelves or under sink storage for my toiletries, makeup, etc. The hotel-provided toiletries were tiny and not enough for 3 adults staying in the room. Rooms and common areas were very dated/tired looking. I can't even say it was well priced, as we stayed during VA Tech graduation weekend and it was $438.11 per night (incl. tax), which is obscene for what we got. If I had to come up with some "pros" I'd say the regular bed & pillows were pretty comfortable, the room seemed clean, and the staff we encountered were pleasant.

Accessible unit is not accessible for wheelchair users
Reviewed By alenah395We specifically requested a wheelchair accessible room and called days before to make sure they had one available for my father in law. The bathroom had no safety bars by the toilet. He ended up almost falling by holding on to the towel bar that promptly fell off. The rooms for the rest of our party were fine but don’t advertise as wheelchair accessible if there are no transfer bars!!
