Reviewed By MF_NZAfter a few weeks in hostal this hotel was a wee gem! Sure the rooms are pretty utilitarian but the beds are comfortable and the showers run hot, what more do you need! Having read some of the negative reviews of this place I'm quietly dumbfounded. This rates with any 3 star hotel worldwide. Sure rooms don't have a view - but what view of filthy dirty Chiclayo? The point of staying here is to be out and visit the many historical archeological sites nearby not to stare at the walls? Staff great & friendly too. Gracis!

Reviewed By wagnnxnwp1Pleasant staff. We were moves to a better room because wifi didnt work in ours (no extra charge). One evening-receptionist offered to help us with phone calls for changing a hotel reservation. Wifi and water temperatures were erratic but this is rather usual. Breakfast (to order) was chaotic and we skipped it after the first day. There is a menu of about 20 things of which you are supposed to choose 2, but the waiting person kept offering egg only and we had to keep asking for a second plate and the status of the orders. The location is pleasant. The center, mayor bus companies and hipermercado are close.

A family hotel owned and operated by its owners. We speak native English and Spanish. This hotel was recently built to high standards, all rooms have views of the pool, garden/terrace and benefit from natural ventilation and daylight. Room are fully carpeted and sizes are generous as are the en suite bathrooms with quality artifacts; all have baths except the single room.
Friendly hotel on the outskirts of town
Reviewed By MLCoxWonderful stay for 10 days where we enjoyed the use of the pool. Breakfast and lunch everyday outside on the patio which was freshly cooked and delicious. The hotel was exceptionally well maintained and spotless. Our room was well equipped and we were able to sleep with the window open as they had proper mosquito netting on the windows which allowed a natural breeze to flow into the room which is ideal at night time. A comfortable family hotel that we would highly recommend.

Reviewed By travelfan1307My spouse and I stayed 5 nights. The room was in front on 2nd floor next to conference room. It was noisy, but mostly from external sources -- dog barking, horns, etc. One evening there was a meeting next door and it did not end until 11pm, so there was internal noise then. The room was spacious and clean, and everything worked. The air conditioning is a plus. The restaurant in the hotel is adequate, not gourmet, but the menu is very comprehensive and pisco sours are great. My only complaint is that the staff, while very gracious, did not speak any English. That made it difficult to convey messages from the university that was hosting me. I would return.

This is a central hotel located to one block of the main square of Chiclayo. We have internet fast WI-FI in all the hotel. Also, the are quiet rooms for sleep well. This is excellent for Business travel so you can save money whitout take taxis.

Reviewed By CFEIIII don't usually stay in this type of hotel, but I stayed here for a night. Hot water, clean sheets and bed, refrain full of goodies in my room, Curtesy breakfast, nice art on the walls. It is about a block from the Plaza de Armas, It was very handy. They do have an elevator.

Reviewed By occasionaltraveler97Located on a narrow street across from the central market, this hotel is also close to the Plaza Armas. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe there. The staff was helpful with everything I asked of them. Breakfast was simple - bread, jam, juice, coffee or tea. The internet worked well. Being across from the central market can have a down side if your room is in front. The garbage men come by very late at night to clean the trash out of the market. That's a noisy process. Vendors arrive early to unload their wares. Another noisy process. I doubt I would have heard any of that if my room hadn't faced the street. Don't let this stop you from staying at this excellent hotel. Just ask for a room away from the street.

Nice Room, Conveniently Located
Reviewed By BMTraveler833I don't have a lot to say other than the hotel was nice, not expensive, and clean. The rooms were comfortable. We had hot water in the shower and they had a nice restaurant on the ground floor. It was in a safe area, two blocks from the cathedral, and town plaza, with plenty of stores and restaurants located nearby. It was a nice hotel, although the map outs it on the exact opposite side of the cathedral, than it is in reality, unless there are two Aura Hotels, but I do not think so.
