This family business has been operating for over ninety years and its atmosphere of a small, enchanting hotel captivates with comfortable bedrooms and personal, welcoming service.
Appalling. The annex is a dump.
Reviewed By Peter CI cannot recommend this hotel. I have seldom stayed in worse. The reception area looks modern and stylish, but we were put into the annex, a short distance up the street. The entrance was shabby, reminded me of a council estate block. The room was appalling. It was pokey, with hardly enough room to open our suitcases. The view from the French window (there was no other) was directly into someone’s living room, across the narrow street, together with washing. This meant that we could not open it without other people looking directly into our room, so we had to keep it closed and, in effect, we found ourselves in a room without any natural light. The bathroom was ancient. There were signs of rust in the bath. There was no window. The door made a loud screeching noise. The hair drier was weak. Although cheap, the shower did have good pressure. They only good thing about the room was that the air-conditioning worked. We did not eat there in the evening but we did have breakfast there. The breakfast itself was good. There was a full range of meats, cheeses and pastries and there was even fried eggs and bacon. The orange juice was cheap concentrate. Surprisingly, tables were not laid. There was no hotel serving staff on hand. We found ourselves sat at a table next to some of the hotel cleaners. It may be admirable that the hotel provides cleaning staff with breakfast, but when I am staying at a hotel I expect trained staff to be on hand and I do not expect to have to sit next to the cleaners. I can do that in any ‘greasy spoon’ café. A word of advice: Locals all seem to go on holiday at the beginning of July and just about every single restaurant was closed. We had already quickly learned the word ‘tancat’ – closed. It was everywhere.

Reviewed By terrya443We spent 6 days in this lovely hotel in a beautiful area of Val de Boi. The hotel is family-run so there is an element of comfort and ease. The rooms are modern, quiet and comfortable and impeccably clean. We chose the media-pension regimen so enjoyed copious breakfasts and a varied menu in their excellent restaurant. The area offers many opportunities for walking and visiting Romanesque churches and quaint towns. We will return.

Reviewed By SkiondownRiding through Andorra was better than expected and I enjoyed the ride to Sort. Sort had a busy canoe vibe as people were practising for the World Championships. Easy to find the hotel and my room overlooked the river. Staff were nice, breakfast good and secure bike parking. I stayed a couple of days, people watching and riding Vielha, Pont De Suert return. TheC13/C28 is a good road and Port de La Bonaigua gives you great views.

We especially enjoyed using the garden during the day, with self-service ordering from their bar and restaurant. We will be back :)

Fantastic restaurant
Reviewed By maribelm252We are housted for two days. The hotel is perfect because is close to Masella ski slopes. By the other hand, the service of the restaurant is very nice. Carles is very helpful and friendly!! The room is clean. Only one negative point, there is no wall brackets into the restroom. We will come back again.

Reviewed By pinax111The breakfast buffet was really good. All the food there was amazing. The views from the room were awesome. You could see the mountains from the bed. The wifi connection was good everywhere in the hotel. The hotel is located in the town so you can walk everywhere. Finding a spot to park your car is very easy.
