We had a wonderful time at Le Boscarecce, Susanna and Massimo have the skils to combine their knowledge as hoteliers with the atmosphere of feeling at home in Italy! Lovely room, aircondition, clean, perfect! This time we came for relaxation near the pool. Susanna and Massimo spoiled us with wonderful meals and wines of top quality. We will be back Susanna and Massimo!

The woman that greeted us was totally antipathetic. Not helpful at all and borderline mean and rude It left us feeling unwelcome and bitter. Room was average but the service was unacceptable. Would not come back!

Cabbiavoli is… a big Estate to get together with family and friends to share dreams and passions! Every building in the Tuscan landscape is redolent of the many cultures that inhabited it throughout the centuries. About 30 Km from Florence, Cabbiavoli castle, is a shining example, evoking a multitude of ancient influences. The castle's history dates back to 1210, when the Counts Alberti di Certaldo built Caput Aulae, as the centre of Val d'Elsa's court. The Alberti family owned the property until the 17th century, when Cabbiavoli fell into the hands of Puccioni family. With the background of this history, the barns built to serve the castle make an ideal location for visitors wishing to spend a comfortable and relaxing holiday! Its position in the centre of the Tuscan region makes it the perfect accommodation for people willing to discover the natural and artistic beauties of the surroundings and to visit Florence, San Gimignano, Siena , Pisa and Lucca.
So having spent some time in the Farmhouses in 2016, we came back for our own wedding in May 2022, but this time with exclusive use of the villa with our families; our friends staying in the Farmhouse apartments. I can't recommend this venue highly enough - the villa is just so special with fantastic views over the countryside. It is maintained to an extremely high standard and nothing was too much trouble for the housekeeper (Marta) and her son Lorenzo. Marta really did play such an important part in making sure our wedding went without hitch. Whilst Manuel kept the grounds looking splendid and Antonella looked after the housekeeping. Thank you so much to all the staff who went above and beyond! The main part of the villa houses 5 double bedrooms (including the balcony room where Julia Roberts slept) and there is a further bedroom in the quirky/quaint 13c tower adjacent to the main building. The villa is stuffed with artifacts, including many hunting trophies, and is still used out of season by the owners. Overall, one of the nicest locations I have ever stayed in......

Hotel La Pieve, an old farmhouse, has the ideal location: overlooking on one side the beautiful Tuscan countryside and the ancient Pieve [parish church] of Castelfiorentino, and on the other side it's only 500 m from the old town. Our 10 cozy rooms are equipped with every comfort, and in the summer time you can enjoy your meals, a drink or just a snack out on our romantic panorama terrace, which has the most stunning view over the suggestive and enchanting Tuscan landscape. Tuscany is a land of great gastronomic tradition, which you can get to know better, appreciate and enjoy thanks to the varied and tasty treats of our restaurant, which offers a menu full of delicious regional specialties. Do not miss our homemade pasta and our grilled specialties such as the Florentine T-Bone Steak. La Pieve is an ideal base for visiting the area's numerous ancient cities, rich in art treasures, the characteristic medieval villages, churches, castles and off course the lovely Chianti-hills. Furthermore, compared to the places of major tourist attraction, Castelfiorentino is an oasis, where you can discover the real, authentic Tuscany: like at the Saturday market in the central square or wandering around the small characteristic streets of the old town and breath in the Italian atmosphere. You can comfortably leave your car in our private parking, because hotel La Pieve is only 700 meters from the railway station, from where you can easily reach Florence, Siena, Pisa, San Gimigniano etc and discover what the area has to offer in terms of art, culture and crafts. The hotel is family-run directly by us, Charlotte & Matteo. And with our experience, courtesy and availability, we will do our best to help you make your stay here unique, and give you an unforgettable experience of Tuscany.
La Pieve is situated just outside Castelfiorentino but within walking distance of the nice town centre. Wonderful landscape with many cultural and historical places within easy reach. The restaurant at La Pieve serves delicious tuscan food and is much sought after- also by local people. Do not miss the opportunity to have lunch or dinner there, should you be within driving distance! The hotel facilities and the rooms are very nice and totally adequate - we only missed the possibility to relax with a book and a drink outside away from the serving area.

La Corte d’Elsa, located in Castelfiorentino (FI) at “Renai”, is surrounded by the green of the typical Florentine hills, where a unique panorama stands out against a background of vineyards and olive groves. We are in the Chianti hills representing a landscape rich in history and tradition. The cosy and comfortable residence, made out of an old hayloft dating back to 1800, was accurately renovated and completed in 2005, recovering its ancient splendour but always keeping the architectural characteristics of the old structure unchanged. Now it consists in four completely independent flats, equipped with any comfort, where elegance and sobriety combine perfectly together. La Corte d’Elsa is located in a strategic position for excursions and visits to art towns, being at a distance of about 35 km from Florence, 40 km from Pisa, 30 km from Siena and 20 km from Volterra, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni.
We stayed in Corte 3, which is a small apartment, with kitchen. The bed is on a mezannine (so, not really a separated bedroom) under the roof. This place gets very hot, so in summer you definetely need the airco in (works fine, once you get it up and running, which was a bit of a problem - the owners didn't succeed...) The apartment is actually suited for 2 persons (possible + a child), but is too small for 4 adults. Whole place is spotlessly clean. Great terrace and swimming pool with a wonderful view on the Tuscan landscape.

Absolutely exquisite location, ideal situated to explore the highlights of beautiful tuscany. Appartment Galestro was beautifully furnished with everything you will need during your stay! Hosts were very friendly and will do everything to make you feel like kings and queens in their agriturismo. The surroundings are simply breathtaking; pinetrees, olivetrees and winebranches as far as you can see. Wide open spaces, horses and in the morning you will be woken by the sound of birds playing outside your appartment. Pool was an absolute plus for cooling down after a long day in firenze, siena, san gmigiano or other hotspots! All in all a magnificent experience and since this was our 1st time in tuscany, we WILL surely go back to Maramaldo! 2 small tips for further improvement: it would be convenient to make a parking space closer to appartments. The climb up to parking space is not suitable for everyone, but well.....you have to be a bit cunning and get the car 1st before leaving. And when arriving in the dark you will think you are in the middle of nowhere (which is exactly what its meant to be.....) but its pitch black and maybe more lighting along the road would be a good idea!l

A friend is traveling from the US to Italy and since we loved our experience suggested they do this as well. I realized I hadn't written a review and since it was a highlight of our visit, better late than not at all. Upon arrival we were giving a tour and Luisa could not have been nicer. We loved everything about this day which was a private tour with just me and my husband which I recommend. Since neither of us really care to cook, it was the perfect amount of interaction but not too much effort LOL. We loved being in the kitchen and it was just so fun. Then we were seating is a beautiful room and got to enjoy all the wonderful food that was cooked. So if in the area, I would high suggested doing this as a couple.
