The hotel website is what made me choose this place for a girls weekend in Cassis and it did not disappoint. It was just as beautiful as the pictures portrayed it. Arnaud’s friendly and efficient welcome was a pleasure. He’d been very responsive also with questions before our arrival. It’s a lovely, peaceful place. The food is great, we enjoyed our dinner and the breakfast were simple but delicious. I will recommend this place highly around me and I am already thinking of booking again for my next Provence get away

May 2021 - 20 mins walk (it's downhill!) from the SNCF train station situated up from this small but charming coastal town. This is a hotel with few frills but wonderful service and clean, comfortable rooms. It seems there are quite large differences between rooms. We were allocated a quiet room (number 4) with a small, private terrace away from the main road. However, for visitors new to this area, be aware that local motorcyclists are fond of removing their exhaust baffles. The noise can be offensive! Ask for a room away from the main road. The room size was adequate and the bathroom modern and functioned well. The towelling and toiletries were more than adequate. The bed was comfortable (just) but needs to be replaced. The room safe will NOT hold a modern A4 sized laptop and there is no safe in reception. However, the manageress offered to lock ours in her office. There were no kettle, tea/coffee facilities or fridge in the room. Lighting was adequate. The garden areas are glorious and the smell of Jasmin and lemon blossom was in the air which always makes life seem better. The pool is large and clean and has comfortable seating provided. Pool towels are available from reception. No extra charge. The breakfast buffet was enjoyed on the terrace and offered a good selection of mostly cold food. Fresh eggs can be boiled by guests. The coffee was very decent. The patisserie was excellent. The restaurant was not open due to the hotel just being re-opened after confinement. Value for money: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Breakfast: 4/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Bedroom/bathroom: 3.5/5 Big question - would I stay there again? Yes.

Great location in the port. Sea view rooms have a stunning view over the marina and the castle, road view rooms not so special. All the restaurants, plages etc are within a couple of minutes walk. Breakfast is great, in a buffet format available to non residents on a big sunny terrace. Some of the rooms are tired and need renovating, others are good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Its about 100 per night for a room with a sea view in mid season and that view is worth every cent. Bed was comfortable. A good budget option

We loved our stay at Jardin d’Emile. Located at a quiet end of Cassis with a beautiful beach across the street, the hotel has lovely treed grounds and friendly, accommodating proprietors. Our terrace had a wonderful view of the sea and big pines in the foreground. But possibly the best thing about our stay was the amazing breakfast served right on our terrace. Fresh-squeezed orange juice, home-baked cakes and breads— it was very special. If you like quiet, away from the crowds, I highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

The location right on on the water in the middle of the town is fantastic, with easy access to all the local attractions and restaurants. The staff were great and went out of their way to be of service. However the rooms are tiny, with not enough room to pass each other between the bed and the wall, and it’s only a double bed. And mentioning the bed - very uncomfortable. The pillows were terrible. The bathroom is very small, the shower temperature and pressure is very variable depending on what other rooms are use the shower or flushing the toilet. Overall it was in line with what we expected and reflected in the price, but a few minor touches could have significantly improved the experience A coat of paint and a better bed and some reasonable pillows

Le Mirabeau is extremely well placed in Cassis for sightseeing & no hills to climb to reach it! Based on the harbour/marina with its ever-changing nautical panorama. Convenient to catch Le petit Train de Cassis for sightseeing. Short walk to & from bus stop for connections to the Cassis train station. Spotlessly clean, outstanding self-contained kitchen facilities & very modern décor. Entrance internal stairs are steep. Our room was on the 1st floor. Not cheap but affordable & well worth it for the location. Person in charge pleasant & helpful. Many restaurants & bars in close proximity plus shops. Ate breakfast nearby. The Casino is within walking distance
