We always stay here on our journey through Spain to France from Portugal but next time it will be our final destination. The proprietors are welcoming and do everything to make our visits comfortable. We love the bar and tapas and the restaurant serves delicious regional dishes. The village is picturesque and a short journey from the A66. Thoroughly recommended!

Pros: A somewhat upscale hotel with excellent location right at the start of the village. A pretty room with nice wooden floors. Extremely friendly, helpful, solicitous staff. Cons: The room lighting was too dim and one of the few lights was out. For modern digital times, there were too few outlets in the room. The heating was just adequate.A bit on the pricey side.

La dona es muy desagradable. Fue muy mal educada con nosostros, mismo sabendo que somos extranjeros y veniamos de lejos. No lo recomendo. Really rude owner! Even knowing that we are foreign and come for far away. I don't recomende this house at all!

The Posada appeared to be in a place where no-one lived and nothing happened. Once we parked our car and checked in we discovered the total hidden charm of this outstanding village. The ancient original architecture of the doors and buildings has been maintained for at least 100 years and more. The in itself is on 4 floors, unsuitable for people bad on their feet. Of course there is no elevator and the check in staff double up as waiters, so you've got to get yourself up the steep stairs and down again to go out and to go to the restuarant. It's good value for money, basic, authentic and spotless. There is running water outside every house as it runs continuously down from the mountain. Some would say it was soothing, not me I'm afraid. We are having a delightful time exploring the village and surrounds, perhaps unfortunately we chose one of the busiest weeks of the year, Easter. Charming and different, would I return, most definitely but book ahead for a lower floor room!

My husband and I stayed here overnight last night and I must write a review right now because this is just such a wonderful hidden gem in an fantastic authentic village. On our arrival our host could not have been more helpful and welcoming in spite of our language barrier and helped us up to our beautiful and tasteful suite. Absolutely superb accommodation and enormous super king size bed ensured an exceptionally good night’s sleep after a superb meal in a locally recommended restaurant. Breakfast was included in the €90 tariff (unusual for Spain) and was excellent. Cannot recommend this bijou accommodation enough - that says it all!

We were welcomed with a smile and shown to a lovely room with a balcony and views across the village and up to the snowy mountains. One word of caution watch the top step on the stairs as the riser is higher than expected. Breakfasts were ok but the evening meal was so good we ate in on both nights of our stay. if we are ever back in the area we would definitely use this hotel again.
