quirky boutique style hotel, without boutique hotel prices, ideally situated on the Ring of Kerry
Stayed recently for one night for family funeral . Unusual nd quirky . We entered through bar off the Main Street and were directed to rear private car park . We found rear of premises very quaintly arranged with pathways nd steps. Our room was called the Yellow Room and was a good size with good en-suite ,every thing clean. Comfy bed. It did take a while to figure shower temperature but was good once we did. The breakfast was good and took place in our room with a small fridge stocked with great apple Juice ,fresh fruit ,yogurt, smoked salmon, cheese ,muesli, jams with croissants nd pastries left in bag hanging outside our door. Also Nespresso coffee machine and hot water for tea . Left an item behind in room on departure and staff very helpful in organizing return . We dined in bar/restaurant on arrival nd really enjoyed food . Staff very friendly nd efficient. Only down side was phone answering was a bit hit nd miss nd wish there had been an iron in room. Otherwise very good experience . Different from standard hotel , but def would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay with Ann and Ian on our Wild Atlantic Way adventure. Lovely accommodation and very good breakfast. In the morning I felt we could have stayed chatting all day learning more about the history of the area and the Skellig Islands in particular. This B&B is just a short car ride into Cahersiveen where there is a good choice or pubs and restaurants for an evening meal. We followed our hosts' suggestion and visited Valentia Island via the nearby shuttle ferry, coming back by the bridge at the other end of the island. This B&B was a great find and one that I would highly recommend.

Stay OK, nice place, charming outside and warm inside atmosphere BUT regarding Covid safety very very very bad! Waiter not wearing his mask at all. Not inside the kitchen at food prep, nor outside when bringing dishes and waiting the tables. When kindly reminded that he ought to wear it he just reply that NO he could not breath and if we did not like it we should go home and stay there! How rude and unprofessional! Off we went leaving at once not back home but to a nicer hotel. A place where Covid issues were taken seriously and staff was professional, polite and behaving friendly.

Fantastic hostel, perfectly located on main street of Cahirsiveen. Room was basic but clean, beds comfortable, en suite small but clean. Staff very friendly, especially Mary who prepares the breakfast. Good value for money, recommended.

Probably one of the few B&Bs with a perfect rating of 5 stars, and it certainly deserves so. While the house is lovely, clean and well looked after, it's the host that really make the difference. Micheal is a very warm and kind host, treating his guests as how a host will treat his own friends and family. Breakfast was made to order, with delicious scones baked in the morning. Though a short stay, we really enjoyed the hospitality and warmth. Thanks and i look forward to a future visit again

We (mother and (adult) child) made it our mission to walk the kerry way last summer. After an exhausting yet sunny and beautful fifth day of walking we arrived at this beautifully hidden place and instantly felt at home there. We were greeted by the delightful sounds of a jazz piano and the most fluffy and adorable little dog! The bed and bathroom were, just like the rest of the house, open, clean, full of light and very tastefully decorated. Nothing compared to the stunning garden, though! We were in love! It only got better once dinner time came around. To this day we talk about the amazingly tasteful meal and especially the dessert /sticky toffee pudding (with ice cream)) While Tamsin was busy marking papers. Richard told us the impressing story of this place. The only issue we faced was that we were so smitten with the place and of course Lulu (the dog) that it was hard to leave and continue our journey. We would love to come back some other time and so should you!
