Our stay at Baraza was truely unforgettable. The staff is excellent and super friendly. Always a heartwarming smile & very thoughtful. We loved our absolutely amazing vila, decorated with so much attention to detail and cleaned to perfection. Food & ambience at the restaurants is amazing, very delicious. Service at the beach & pool is superb. As so is staff at the watersport centre. Everyone cares about making your stay unforgettable! And it was... Hope to be able to return again!

Zanzibar's most romantic hotel. Brezes offers a Half Board meal plan that includes your breakfast plus dinner. It features the Frangipani Spa, highest attention to detail, and personalized service second to none. This family owned and managed resort has set high standards for Zanzibar, and continues to lead the others in the right direction. -Kindly note: Gentlemen require long trousers for dinner (dinner only)
Amazing hotel, friendly staff and outstanding food. Stayed for 7 days and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were fantastic…. A big shout out to Dorah who was amazing. We were also looked after by Maria, Martin, Eva, Sunday, Issa and Lucas who were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and genuine. Food was very, very good. There were 4 courses on the half board dinner menu. Portions weren’t huge but staff asked if we wanted more. We didn’t ever need to ask for more as portions were the right size when you have 4 courses. Room was very nice and beach was lovely. Not much around the hotel so expect to spend most of your time in the hotel or on hotel booked tours (as outside taxis aren’t allowed on the premises). This was perfect for us as we really enjoyed spending the time relaxing. Thanks to everyone in the hotel. If you stay in Zanzibar I’d highly recommend staying here.

4 days at The Palm and cannot recommend it more. The location is beautiful, with direct access to the beach. The hotel can provide reef shoes to allow you to explore the reef during low tides. The cabins are spacious and lovely, and each of the 7 cabins has it's own sun lounge cabana dedicated to it. The food was beautiful and they staff are so friendly helping with anything you need. I wish we could have stayed longer

A Barefoot paradise! As you step into Indigo Beach Zanzibar, you will immediately feel that your holidays have started.. Barefoot....This is how you will spend your holidays. Forget everything, free your mind and spirit! Relax in our cozy "boutique Hotel"! The resort shows simplicity & informality. The turquoise of the lagoon melts into the background of an immaculate white sandy beach, planted with coconut palms close to the small fishing village of Bweju, near Paje Beach. With its whitewashed walls, marine blue roofs and cozy bungalows, Indigo Beach Zanzibar, is full of coastline charm. The garden is planted with coconut palms and exotic trees rustled by the cool sea breeze. From the deck of the pool you'll find a direct view on the lagoon, that spreads its color less than 30m away. Stylist boutique hotel based on the barefoot concept 9 bungalows typical of a beach lifestyle, each with a private lounge area ("baraza" in Swahili) and garden, an external bathroom, with 3 of these bungalows offering 'Family' rooms option. • 8 Romantic sea view bungalows & one garden view • 1 Restaurant and bar overseeing the pool • 1 guest house with 8 traditional & simple rooms & bathroom • 1 kids corner- Mtoto Club • Free Wi-Fi in dedicated areas • Check in :14h00 & check out :11h00 • Reception(souvenirs, excursion desk and other products)
The hotel is located east of Zanzibar which is ideal for most of the location you want to visit if you are planing to do tourist tours. The staff is super friendly we stayed at the hotel for 8 days during May 2022 When we arrived we had booked our own bungalow with beach front but because we had a small kid with us it was not suitable as there were stairs to reach the room and we were afraid she would fall down from there. so the team helped us to move to a better 2 bedroom room. Al though there was always insects and bugs in the room i think it is fair to say it is clean. however you need to tell the staff to clean what u want to clean because they don’t do it by nature. The food at the hotel is not cheap and not expensive so if you are planning to stay for a long period , you will need 15-20$ per person for lunch and same for dinner. Breakfast is good with few variations of what you can eat, you just need to be careful with sugar as I always found insects inside it which you can barely see. The facility of the hotel is amazing and great for kids, Big pool relatively and comparing to similar hotels Beach access is very easy and direct, it depends on what time you go to the beach during the tide I would recommend it for couples and family ✌️

Our hotel has 14 rooms in 9 bungalows. 5 Double storey bungalows direct on the beach offer 9 self contained rooms, each with a different touch. Furthermore there are 3 garden bungalows. All the rooms have been decorated using local materials to give them a unique Zanzibari feel and come complete with mosquito nets and fresh running water. Coconut wood fixtures and fittings give an exotic feel to the suites. Each bungalow has its own balcony with chairs and a table and all rooms have their own en-suite bathroom hot water. We accept credit cards and we have free Wi-Fi for in house guests.
Our family spent two nights at Evergreen Bungalows as part of our recent Tanzania and Zanzibar adventure. The rest of the trip was arranged by a travel agent but this place we found and booked ourselves via Booking.com - at a very small fraction of the cost compared to the other locations. The reason was that we wanted to find a place where you really live on the beach and that offers the relaxed, less ambitious original Zanzibar experience - something different to the big commercial lodges and hotels. And that is exactly what Evergreen is, the real Zanzibar experience living in basic huts on the beach, with haphazard hammocks and Zanzibar beds spread out on the hotel grounds, offering lots of places to sit for a drink or a board game. The huts, restaurant and other facilities are a bit basic but very quaint and appealing, you feel really welcome here and the athmosphere is relaxed. The rooms are basic but nice, clean enough but not perfect and some things will be a bit less organized than in a "normal hotel" - but that's what you want and expect here. The owners and staff are very friendly, relaxed and helpful in giving you the best experience possible. They also provide very affordable transport, I suggest you contact them for transfer in and out of the lodge. They can also help with arranging excursions and activities, such as a visit to the monkeys in nearby Jozani forest (recommended). A great experience that we will always remember, thank you Mustafa and Claudia!

If your idea of nirvana is to unwind totally in a friendly, unique and unpretentious guesthouse set in stunning gardens, minutes from one of the most gorgeous beaches anywhere, you’ve come to the right place...Our rooms, restaurant and bar are funky and original, and there’s always a good mix of travellers and locals. If you want to meet new people, exchange ideas and experience the real Zanzibar, Mustapha’s is the place for you.
beautiful brick huts, some with two floors, clean and comfortable, in a beautiful palm garden. Cozy restaurant, soft atmosphere, excellent cuisine, a good cook. A stone's throw from a white sand beach and palm trees. Only the private beach is missing, it would be enough to put a couple of sunbeds and a bit of shade.

Fraud. Because of the covid we couldn’t travel to Zanzibar but they guarantee us a full reimbursement (we inform them 10 days before the departure). They didn’t do it and they didn’t answer emails and phone calls. Worst experience ever. Rude

This accomodation has almost everything to offer. When we arrived we were welcomed with a free drink surrounded by the beautiful palm trees. The rooms are outstanding with a view on the pool and next to the ocean. They get cleaned everyday. The view at the ocean is amazing, no other hotels to see, just surrounded by palm trees, palm trees and... Palm trees! The restaurant is also very nice with a view on the ocean, with delicious dinner and breakfast. Everyone is so friendly and nothing is asked too much. You can simply get your food and drinks served wherever you want! Big thanks to the amazing energetic Italian lady who runs this place! They also focus on zero plastic waste which is great! It's not a place to party but they offer great parties at other places! Pure relaxation! Kind regards, the Belgian couple who really wanted to come back ❤️❤️❤️
