The hotel is build in a modern design and is the biggest in the Drammen region. Their main focus is personal service and to create a good atmosphere, to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel has got 9 conference rooms with space for up to 400 guests, 7 meeting rooms and a comfortable lobby. All the facilities are equipped with modern equipment.
Let’s start at the top. The breakfast is really really good. On the other hand the reception staff were very unhelpful on arrival and bordering on rude on departure. That first impression really counts. If you are sent to the annexe, as we were, note that if you are on floor 4, the lift only goes to 3. This doesn’t matter except when the suitcases are involved. The annexe is at best ordinary in terms of ambience. We chose this hotel to save about £70 on a two night stay compared with another hotel nearby. Notwithstanding the breakfast, I will just spend the £70 next time.

Location is super at the river. Drammen has been a Butifull city with very Good restaurants at the river. I had a Good pepperbeaf at Becks Brasseriet short time away from the Union Hotel. I like the area of Drammen very much.

Clarion Collection Hotel Tollboden is a different, first class hotel, centrally located at Stromso, Drammen. Warm and welcoming, it's easy and nice to come "home" after a long day working, make your own waffles and have a cup of coffee or tea, on the house of course. We also recommend Tonight's Special, our complimentary meal served every evening. Welcome, we hope to see you.
Close to the railway and e-18, so it is verry easy to use the hotell as a "hub". Also verry close to the town. Overall a plesant stay as always. Have been here several times, and i will bee comming back.

I checked it at noon on Sunday, took a nap, I needed it after 18 hours of travel. the Rooms. I had a premium room, it was very small. everything was small. trach cans, shower, room between the bed and desk, chair, fridge and coffee cups. Ok let me get specific, I'm from the USA, I use a 12-16oz cup at home the cups in the room and the breakfast buffet, which it excellent by the way, is bearly 8oz seems to be a standard here. I figured they would have instant coffee because I saw in Tripadviser photo there was a tea kettle pot, i was right do I brought Folger coffee singles with me. SInce the cups were so small I wandered down to the gas station ($10 a gallon if you are driving here) and got a 16oz coffee so I'd have a proper cup. House keeping is very efficient, too efficient, they took my cup. So I asked the desk staff for a larger mug. The housekeeping staff took that, so I had to ask for another, I hid that so they wouldn't take it too. No air-conditioning there is a window to open. It was very good in May. The staff is great, as I said the breakfast is great. If you can't find something you like, well you are unable to be satisfied. If you speak English and not the local language you might be able to find something on TV to watch in English. If you have a craving for pizza in Kongsberg, forget it.

Pers Hotell is privately owned and traditional hotel in the heart of Hallingdal valley, centrally located between Oslo and Bergen. The hotel is located in the charming rural town of Gol and differs to other typical mountain hotels because in addition to its proximity to ski slopes, there are a variety of other outdoor activities on offer including an alpine golf course. The hotel has a reputation for good food, friendly staff and is proud to be Hallingdal's largest venue.
It was a great stay in your beautiful hotel :) a lot of attractions for children ? Delicious breakfast and dinner, very nice crew. Only Tropicana Badeland was weak , very cold inside, cold water in swimming pool for children ?

The town itself is gorgeous and the ski is perfect with many options for beginners. The hotel was ok, room was relatively big and clean with good view if on the left side & breakfast was diverse. However, one of the male staff on the Monday night was rude and not very helpful when at reception or ordering drinks. Also, we never got told we were not allowed to have our own beer at the hotel reception and staff literally came to “confiscate” it in a really rude way and without explaining why. There is also a fire pit outside that looks really cozy when other people were using, but this same staff did not allow us to use it at the evening. What a waste of a nice structure for the guests. Besides that, other staff were great. However would probably not come back due to that rude encounter.

The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings, only 800 metres from Geilo town centre, close to Geilo Ski Arena. The Hotel has 86 rooms and a total of 195 beds to offer, and rooms for seminars and conventions. A service minded staff guarantee you a nice stay at Ustedalen Hotel.
We've stayed in the Ustedalen on three occasions now, I can't believe I haven't written a review until now! Four of us, me and my wife and two friends booked in to spend a week in Geilo cross-country skiing (guess few Brits do that). Booking was straightforward and any communications prior to our arrival were seamless. On arrival, we knew what we were getting but our friends were delighted. A beautiful, spacious apartment for the four us with wonderful views through the large windows looking over Vestlia. Clean, warm, well appointed, and easy to relax in. Large, clean combined toilet / shower, decently appointed kitchen for our self-catering requirements with lots of storage, utensils, crockery and glasses, and comfortable beds to ensure a good night's sleep after a day of pretty busy physical exercise. We were so happy in our apartment or out in the mountains that we didn't use any of the facilities in the hotel's reception building, so sorry, can't comment on those. The location might not suit all as it's on the western fringe of Geilo. We had a car, but for alpine skiers, it's on the ski-bus route, so that's convenient. Walking into the town centre takes about 15 minutes. Now I have seen other reviews that are critical as it is frequented by bus-tour parties. During our stay, the guests all seemed to be intent on skiing. But this is Norway, and the (summer) tour-bus market is fundamental to the holiday industry, so the Ustedalen is certainly not unique in accommodating them. Would we stay again? Certainly, and looking forwards to visit #4!

This is one of the biggest hotels in Norway outside Oslo. The location is pretty remote on the mountains above Gol, but the hotel provides you with most of what you need. This is NOT a boutique hotel, but the service is outstanding and the food is traditional and very extensive.
