The Tree Inn is a former Manor House, parts of which date back to the 13th Century. It is situated in the historic market town of Stratton, 1.2 miles from Bude and the North Cornwall coast. The Grade II buildings encircle a courtyard full of flowers and character. Come and see the home of "The Last of the Cornish Giants", a civil war hero standing 7' 4" in 1643 whose picture, a gift from Charles II, dominates the courtyard. One of Cornwall's oldest and most treasured pubs has recently been sensitively refurbished offering 6 rooms at the Inn. A new team of chefs prepare from local seasonal produce. There is street parking but also a free large car park only 2 minutes walk away: for sat nav EX23 9DS. We welcome walkers, cyclists and motorcyclists and offer secure parking/storage in our courtyard and barn. There is a fully equiped guest kitchen you are welcome to use during your stay. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate which may be taken anytime: with diverse teas and superb Italian coffee to set you up for the day.

Lovely little seaside hotel, great position for the beach. Our room was spacious and had a large balcony with views over the RNLI and the beach. The hotel staff were all so helpful and friendly. Don't let the picture of the road outside the front of the hotel put you off - its a no outlet road and not at all busy.

Bude has been crying out for somewhere to sit, drink and soak up a relaxed summer vibe. Lovely new seating area overlooking the ocean, where you can take your own takeaway, and drink from their well stocked and adventurous bar (Bude Gin!). Really lovely, passionate and approachable staff; remember to treat them with the kindness you'd expect in return! If you do, you'll reap the rewards of a classic Cornish social, and feel unhurried, fortunate, and totally relaxed. Genuinely live your best life, real 'gram', in the company of friends, family and the wonderful staff, by the sea, An Mor.

Overlooking the historic Bude Canal, with lovely walled gardens and just a short walk to the beaches and shops, the Falcon Hotel has a most attractive location. Established in 1798, it still retains that charm and atmosphere. The bedrooms are very well appointed, with smart TV's and Free WiFi for guests. The hotel has an excellent local reputation for the quality of food, both in the Coachman’s Bar and Breakwater Brasserie.
We went back to the falcon hotel again only to find a different hotel than previously it seems that they only cater for large gatherings and residents are no longer a priority, the staff seem unhappy and there didn’t seem to be a lot of them one morning some residents were waiting for an hour for breakfast . We came back to the hotel one day and asked about afternoon tea only to be told that they were expecting a large party of rugby players so we would not be able to have it I would hope that when you pay good money for accommodation that you would be able to access the hotel services

we have eaten here every time we visited Bude this time the choice and standard of food has gone down there was no fish course so we had the steak and ale pie we were very disappointed. it seemed to have been microwaved and was not up to previous standards. needless to say we will not be dining again.

We had an excellent stay at Links Side over the Easter weekend, it was our first time in Bude. The guesthouse is superbly located on the edge of town and close to all amenities but with lovely views across the golf course to the coast. Parking was easy and we managed to park for free all weekend, through a mix of parking a short walk away in the daytime and overnight outside the B&B. The hosts are superbly friendly and so accommodating, we felt extremely well looked after. The breakfasts were also excellent quality with a very efficient service. Our room was spacious, had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Overall we had a lovely break and will certainly look forward to staying at Links Side again when we return to Bude. Thankyou.

My mum and I are only staying one night here but oh my goodness…. this place is amazing! I booked the room through a different website but their rating was really high and it’s clear to see why! The room is spotless, everything has been thought about and provided for if you want to bring a takeaway in, ready-meal (has a microwave in our room!) or eat out locally! I got an email immediately after booking from the owner recommending places to visit nearby and places to eat. I asked a question which was answered almost straight away! Very friendly, not in your face but enough to make you feel welcome and to know that if there was anything you needed you would only have to ask. If I come to this area again I will certainly be looking to come back and stay here. Thanks to the owners for making this part of our week special :-)
