My husband and i stayed at this hotel when my father passed away and then again when we were in town for his memorial service. This hotel is convenient to IH35 but located just off of it so it is quiet. Both times the rooms and the lobby area were sparkling clean. We also experienced friendly and competent employees.

Was easy to get to and very friendly and helpful associates. The floor I was on was quiet for being a holiday weekend. Breakfast was very simple but think it was because of some remodeling that is going on.

I had one of the worst experiences of my life there. I arrived at Hampton inn on a Sunday evening and my room was booked for 3 days. Super tired after driving , I decided to get some dinner and next take a shower then rest. After dinner I went to the bathroom, I noticed just 6” from the bathtub several failures on the floor covered with tiles, it was surprising anyways. After taking shower, I laid on the king size bed with white bedding sheets and turned off lights. In the wee of night, I felt a sharp pain on my stomach as I was laying on my stomach at that moment. I figured out there was something not right on this bed. I turned on the nightstand light to see what it was, I found a nasty stanky broken nail on my sheet and I put it on the nightstand. I couldn’t believe what I saw because I knew for fact it wasn’t mine, I take care of my nails weekly. Consequently, My room was not properly taking care of, and as a result of it I was super irritated ! I was ready to be out of this place.Be cautious about this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was attentive and friendly and the hotel is close to restaurants and craft beer bars nearby... I’d recommend it to a traveler... The housekeeping was polite with coffee service and daily service. There is a pool and laundry machines(however, I couldn’t find them so perhaps they are in the staff area)

A suite is a "group of rooms occupied as a unit", according to both my experience with hotels, as well as just looking at the standard definition of the word itself in the dictionary. This was the expectation which I took into this booking for myself, my wife, and our toddler. Typically, we rent a suite, and have the toddler sleep in the "living area", where there can be a door between him and us - mostly because as adults we generally like staying up past his 7:30pm bedtime. Up until this experience, this has worked well in about half a dozen properties. Here, the "Suite" is a part of the overall room with no separation. The suite is what I would consider a standard hotel room with a divider of a minor frame between the spaces. No door, curtain, or anything else between the two. Hence, for the following I will use "room" as despite my booking and the hotel title, I did not stay in a "suite" We checked in at 11:00pm, which left ample time for the hotel to prepare our room. Despite this, the room was not that clean, including leftovers from a prior guest in the fridge and microwave. The bathroom had hairs in the sink, and the floor was a bit unclean as well. We were tired and didn't bother with it until the next day. The staff was very, very, nice and helpful. The room's condition was addressed the next morning. However nice the staff, they have been set up to fail by their hotel. The bed itself was very worn out and uncomfortable. Further, the fitted sheets were so worn that the elastic was not really stretchy anymore, and would pop off the bed several times each night. Couple the above with the fact that the smoke alarm for the room flashed bright green above the bed all night, and it quickly became apparent that a restful night was not going to happen. It was such a bad experience that on the second night, i used the hotel wifi to download the AirBNB app to find a last minute place to stay - but unfortunately, came up empty in my search. Aside from the room (which is, of course the most important thing), I will say the property itself was very clean, the breakfast was good, and we felt the location was great. However, the main expectation is a room which fits the bill, and this one failed to deliver.

The most awful, disgusted, unpleasant stay in my life. The pictures do not represent the reality. This place is very dirty, nasty, smelly. The only place that little bit nicer is the lobby. The whole way carpet is dirty, smells, has moisture. As you come into the room smells very nasty, no clean air, the sofas are dirty the furniture is old. Windows don’t even open a half inch to get fresh air in the room. Overall experience very disgusted. The towels are very old thin almost tearing apart. I would not recommend this to anyone. For the price they charge is a rip off. -0 as a grade most awful experience of my life.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the dull finish on a lobby floor and a stain on the lobby carpet. The elevator had dirt and dust in the corners that should have been swept or vacuumed out. The sink and bath faucets had a dull finish that was probably once shiny. The beds and beddings were very comfortable, and the hotel is well furnished. The rooms are spacious. The air-conditioning unit operated quietly. There's a lot to like about this property, but there ought to be more attention to detail to cleaning. And this place can be a shining example of brilliance with a week's worth of extra effort. I'll be back because the hotel is a good value in a good location for travelers entering Austin from the south and because I am hopeful that management fixes the problem.

When we arrived at the hotel, there were construction signs that they were remodeling. pI mentioned to the clerk that it was ok, our 4 year old was looking forward to a swim on this hot afternoon. Nope! Pool was closed too. No mention of construction or pool closure on website when I booked. I really hate being lied t, misled and cheated. Things only got worse from there. Once we arrived in our room, it seemed nice enough at first. Nope again. I was looking for my sons' mask under the bed and found moldy french fries. the shower had mold around the tub and on the tiles (see pics). The floors were filthy (see pics on nasty socks worn for 1/2 hour). the Keurig coffee maker spit out grounds into the cup and was clogged with old grounds. When I woke the next morning, a 1-1/2" cockroach (I measured and am not attaching a pic due to the gross factor) greeted me. There was no soap in the bathrooms off the lobby. At breakfast, the pancake machine was not prepped or plugged in until we mentioned that our son would have liked some for breakfast, and there were no drinks out of the machine unless you wanted OJ. In all, a horrible hotel with widespread systemic problems. I tried to talk to a clerk and inquire about switching rooms, but never could find one who would come to the front desk. There are much better choices, particularly at that price. The hotel was worth MAYBE 1/2 of the cost. Never have I had this much go wrong at a hotel. Ever.
