This Best Western property is affordable, but don’t look for the amenities of some of the other chains. It has a small indoor pool. It does offer a free, but very limited breakfast. It is centrally located for easy access to Harpswell, Bath and Portland, but it is definitely an older property with some quirks. First off, all of the employees we encountered were friendly and welcoming. This was perhaps the property’s greatest asset. The hotel is located right on busy route 24, so there is a fairly constant stream of road noise. Those seeking quiet might want to request a room on the backside of the property. Our room was comfortable enough. The king size bed was fine, but the furniture was arranged rather oddly, with the TV off to the side of the bed, and the desk at the foot. I’d have reversed these so that sitting at the desk wouldn’t impede movement around the bed. There was a mini fridge and a microwave oven which both worked well, but the fridge emitted a constant buzzing sound which was noticeable when the tv wasn’t on. Also, the AC unit cycled on and off relentlessly, regardless of what settings we tried. It did keep us cool, but that cycling can make it hard to sleep. This property is also equipped with those little half pillows, rather than a standard size, which I have never cared for. Shower had really weak water pressure, but was hot. For some reason, there was a touch tone phone on the wall in the bathroom. Very strange. This was in addition to the regular bedside phone. We had a laugh over this. Breakfast left something to be desired. There was exactly one bagel, some English muffins, prepackaged danish, dried up hot oatmeal and sausage gravy. There was some breakfast sausage in a chafing dish as well. A small fridge held yogurt and prepackaged hard boiled eggs. There was coffee and a juice machine, which in my case dispensed some watery cranberry juice. Not very inviting, but better than nothing. While the hotel served our purposes, which were basically a home base while we went out each day, a family planning to spend a lot of time here might find it lacking. We’d probably look for someplace more modern should we return to the area. It was clean enough and it’s worth repeating that the employees are wonderful, so I hate to paint a less than glowing picture. Simply one person’s impression.

At Travelers Inn, our accommodations are family-friendly! We are just minutes away from the beach, tourist attractions, restaurants, and more! Our rooms have satellite TV, air conditioning, a microwave, and a refrigerator. We are proud to hold a two-diamond rating by AAA. Call to book with us!
As I have on many occasions, my reservation was ready and waiting for me. The check-in process was fast and easy. Parking the car right up to the room makes unpacking fast and simple. The updated room was; as always extremely clean and comfortable. The refrigerator and microwave was a plus. I can't say enough good about the Travelers Inn. It has been consistent as I stay here over the past years. It is my go to, when I am heading up the coast. It is the BEST value for the money. Keep up the Great Work!!!

Directly adjacent to Bowdoin College and steps away from the lively downtown, The Brunswick Hotel perfectly positions guests to take advantage of all this college town and the state's picturesque Mid-Coast region have to offer. Handsomely appointed guest rooms feature a mix of heavenly king and queen beds, spacious workstations and sleekly stylish baths. As always, the staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. We ate dinner at Noble Kitchen & Bar and the food was delicious, artfully presented, and the waitstaff were outstanding! While room service was not fully operational due to COVID precautions, we were easily able to swap out towels on a daily basis.

At the Comfort Inn, Brunswick we constantly strive to improve your "home-away-from-home" experience. In our opinion a hotel should be clean, it should be comfortable, and you should feel welcome. Your experience begins the moment you turn into our driveway and see a beautifully landscaped property. Walk into our newly renovated lobby and be greeted by a staff that prides itself on welcoming guests. When you are ready, make your way to your room where you will find a very cozy bed, and all of the amenities to make you feel at home. Trust that your room has not only been cleaned, but that it has passed our inspection process. Visit the front desk for recommendations not only for places to eat, but to visit as well. In the morning, after you have slept comfortably please enjoy our brand new hot breakfast. We are proud to serve you hot eggs and breakfast meats, make-your-own waffles, fresh fruit and other goodies! Remember, at the Comfort Inn, Brunswick comfort begins the moment you walk in our doors.
Pluses: price, pillows, breakfast Minuses: squeaky bed, cleanliness, smokers Upon check-in, there is a sign that housekeeping would not be provided daily due to staffing shortage, which I am fine with, but there was a lot of deferred-maintenance things that made me uncomfortable, including lots of mold inside the shower handle and under the lip of the sink, very dusty vents on the AC, and a stained comforter cover. The first night there was either a guest or employee smoking in an adjacent room or in the hallway. When I complained to the front desk, they assured me that it must have been a guest and that they had checked out, but it continued each night I was there and the smoke smell was obvious throughout the lobby and first floor.

Situated on the picturesque village green, the Inn is just steps away from Bowdoin College and the town’s wonderful array of shops and restaurants. This was my first time staying at OneSixtyFive in Brunswick. It was recommended to me by some locals. The hotel and decor were lovely, the breakfast fantastic, and the bar was wonderful. I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay. The spacious room was clean, comfortable and quiet, giving us a good night's sleep. Our room was surprisingly quiet, given that it faced out toward a major highway. We enjoyed the trees and green space surrounding the property. We walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner, but the walk was farther than we expected, and the road into Brunswick is not set up for pedestrians. So plan to drive if you want to eat out. The breakfast was adequate to meet our needs for traveling the next day.
