Six members of our family, from ages 5 to 71, spent 8 days at the resort, and also had a slip in the marina for our catamaran. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the room was outstanding. Love the pools and the beach! We'll be back! Thanks to all, especially Nikki at the front desk and Craig the dockmaster for helping make our trip great.

Highly recommend the All Inclusive Package, as it provided tremendous value. Feel confident in other people's 5 star reviews - you won't be disappointed. The room had lots of character and felt more like a one bedroom home than a generic hotel room. Breakfast and lunch were solid, but dinner was the star - delicious, high end, and most importantly lots of variety to prevent same restaurant burnout. Chantel, Margret, and Marylee (apologies if the names are misspelled) provided tremendous service. It also include free transportation to and from the airport and amazing excursions - island tour and catamaran day. The pool is very nice, and there is a honor bar with beer, mixers, and hard liquor. The beach is beautiful and overlooks Jost Van Dyke, but it is rocky from Irma, so there is some minor maneuvering through rocks to get to the clear patches in the ocean. Lastly, a special thanks to Rupert and Andrea. They are the true reason for all the 5 star reviews. They were very happy to assist in any requests on additional excursions, taxis, COVID testing, and other questions regarding Tortola.

Long Bay Beach Resort is a boutique oceanfront resort located on Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. Situated on a mile of pristine white sand and Caribbean sea, the resort features a gourmet restaurant, hip beach bar, and luxury hotel suites, each with its own outdoor patio, lounge area, and sea view showers. No detail is overlooked. The gourmet restaurant, which is located inside a renovated sugar mill from 1748, features island style tapas, house-made flatbreads, and local caught seafood. A garden on the property supplies fruits, vegetables, and herbs to the restaurant and cocktail bar. The design of the property is trendy yet casual, perfectly encapsulating the laidback luxury of the British Virgin Islands.
My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon at Long Bay Beach Resort (we were there for about 10 days). First, the location is absolutely wonderful - so beautiful and out of the hustle of Road Town. Akil and Karima were wonderful hosts and concierges. They set up a great shared charter for us with Aristocrat Daysails, set up taxis and covid test for us, and gave us some great recommendations for around the islands! The rest of the staff were all so nice and great to talk with. Overall, our stay at Long Bay was wonderful! Highly recommend! Side note: if you’re looking for a great private charter for a day sail, check out Anne Bonny. Daisy and Natalie were great guides/cooks/captains - you name it they did it! Also, Booty was the best canine first mate I’ve ever seen (and deserves all the pets and belly rubs).

Beautiful views and friendly staff keep guests coming back to White Bay Villas on the legendary island of Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands. These well designed one to five-bedroom villas and cottages are self-catering units with Caribbean-style louvered windows, cool A/C in the bedrooms and a veranda with views that will melt your stress away. Almost everything is provided: linens and beach towels, dishes and cooking utensils, flashlight, grill, DVD library, TV, and Wi-Fi internet. White Bay Villas is located on the hillside between Great Harbour and White Bay with a path directly to the legendary White Bay beach and its famous barefoot beach bars and restaurants.
My wife and I just returned from our second long vacation to Jost Van Dyke in three years and had a fantastic experience (again!) at White Bay Villas. While we have plenty of wonderful things to say about the stay itself, I want to focus first on the absolutely phenomenal customer service and care provided by everyone on the WBV team. For anyone thinking of traveling to JVD for the first time, White Bay Villas is the best decision you will ever make, and not just for the breathtaking accommodations and views. There are so many uncertainties and sometimes curveballs on a trip of this nature, and so peace of mind and confidence in the staff of your lodging of choice is of the utmost importance. I have never had a better customer service experience in my life than what we just enjoyed at WBV. Never. Long story short, we had a medical issue on our flight into St.Thomas, which in addition to the extreme anxiety of the event itself, snowballed into us missing our scheduled ferry that day, and then watching our COVID testing window for entry into BVI expire the following day. We had a ride scheduled with Erika, whom I contacted immediately once I realized our plans were crumbling, simply to let her know we weren’t going to make our ride with her and I was going to have to spend my afternoon figuring out options. The next thing I knew, Erika had mobilized an entire team of people at WBV – who over the course of that day and the next, sprung into action to coordinate a place for us to stay in St. Thomas; arrange for potential private transportation to JVD if we needed it; advise and communicate on what we needed to do to solve our COVID testing dilemma; and even provide personal transportation from the hospital to our temporary lodging, to the clinic for retesting, and to the ferry terminal once all our issues were resolved two days later. All of this in addition to arranging all our taxi transportation in Tortola and JVD. No questions asked. I was completely floored by the kindness and support we received. Kevin from the management team was a godsend – personally handling much of the above on his own time. He bent over backwards to help us in every way imaginable, and was an encyclopedic resource on travel requirements, logistics, transportation nuances, and pretty much anything we needed to deal with as a result of our incident. He was simply a model of ideal customer service – and literally handled everything for us so that we didn’t have additional stress. Maria and Lucy from the WBV office (and Erika as well) were constantly in communication and making sure that we were clear on all the rapidly changing arrangements. We were in very, very good hands, and it made a tremendous difference in our ability to bounce back from the rough start and still enjoy every moment of our time on vacation. I relay all of this because when you’re traveling to such a relatively remote destination with many complexities and uncertainties, confidence and trust in the folks you’ll be staying with is priceless. I couldn’t possibly recommend WBV and their team more in this regard. All that said, our stay in a Seaside Cottage this time around was unforgettable – as was the first stay two years back in a Paradise Villa. The breathtaking views from these villas (every single one of them really) are beyond description. They NEVER get old. JVD has got to be one of the most peaceful, calming places on the planet if you ask me – and White Bay Villas provides the perfect home base to enjoy a truly transformative vacation. The villas are clean and comfortable, and equipped with everything you need. The staff – most notably Michelle, perhaps the sweetest woman on earth – is there to help you with anything and everything you request, all with a smile. If something goes wrong, they fix it immediately. Maria and Michelle ask proactively almost every day if there is anything they can do for you. This is what makes a property stand out, and one of the reasons why we came back to WBV and certainly will again. One particularly impressive new aspect of the WBV experience since our last stay was the new Beach Club – the vision of John, the owner, and clearly a labor of love. Located on the secluded end of the White Bay beach at the foot of the properties, the club offers an outstanding new restaurant and bar, plentiful and complimentary beach loungers, towels, and other amenities, and stunning views from two separate covered outdoor seating areas. We spent day after day lounging in front of the club, most times with almost no one else around! The location is such that you’re pretty much guaranteed a peaceful, private beachside experience if that’s what you crave. With fabulous food and drink just steps away! As for the Beach Club restaurant, it is absolute must-do for lunch, dinner, and/or drinks! The chef, Ardenia, has created some delectable dishes. My wife had the pumpkin ravioli, which was out of this world! She couldn’t stop raving about it – and by the way, Lena, our wonderful server, went out of her way to pre-order the pumpkins in advance because my wife so wanted to try this dish while we were on property. It was superb. I had the grouper and miso soup…exquisite flavor and a clever combination! There were also some chicken and steak dinners that looked tantalizing (next time for sure.) The club also serves up some amazing pizzas (marguerita, salami, and others), prepared in a huge, state-of-the-art brick oven, and a creative assortment of specialty drinks along with beer and wine. The menu is constantly being expanded and you should be sure to try out the club as a dining option during your visit. All of this can be enjoyed either inside – where John is in the process of procuring and placing some whimsical and classic artwork – or at two separate outdoor dining areas with amazing views of the drop-dead gorgeous White Bay waters. Ambiance and camaraderie abound, as Lena is so friendly and fun to talk with, and John has some very interesting stories about how White Bay Villas came about and his vision for the property and the Beach Club moving forward. I could go on to do an entirely separate review of what a special and captivating place Jost Van Dyke is, and how wonderful and friendly the locals are. You will discover that soon enough! 1000% recommend White Bay Villas, and please pm me if you have any questions at all about the property, the Beach Club, or the island. You owe it to yourself to stay here…it’s an unforgettable experience, and we are already plotting our next visit. Kevin, John, Maria, Michelle, Lucy, Lena, Bruno, and Erika - thank you so much for your exceptional hospitality and another incredible JVD vacation. We will see you again very soon.

Originally founded by conservationist Laurance Rockefeller over half a century ago in 1964, and long regarded as one of the world’s greatest getaways, this iconic resort has been completely revived and redesigned while staying true to its identity as a leading example of ecotourism. Set across 500 acres of pristine private beachfront and breathtaking flora and fauna, the re-imagined resort provides an unparalleled island escape with expertly appointed accommodations, inspired amenities, dynamic dining outlets and bespoke services and programming.
We arrived via Boat coming from Guana Island. Check-in was easy and fast, our bungalow (actually the left side of it) had a pool and a nice view of the bay. Everything was well maintained and everything worked fine. Spa: great experience, nice setting. Breakfast: continental was included; the surcharge for two fried eggs a bit hefty. Staff: very friendly, very helpful. Generally speaking, the Rosewood Little Dix is a nice, sophisticated holiday destination. Drawback: it´s a bit isolated from the rest of the world. And when fully booked it´ll become a bit noisy and too crowded at the "in" spots (bars, Dinner). Advantage: it´s a bit isolated from the rest of the world ;) Fluctuation of guests seems to be high, probably average stay is only 3 nights. Mostly frequented by US tourists. For us from Europe it´s expensive, particularly considering other destinations (Seychelles, Far East, South Pacific). Summary: very solid 4 Stars.

Positive: They let’s us check in a little early. Negative: Staff not very friendly. No working internet or TV. When mentioned to them they say to unplug internet box in room and if that does not work, you’re out of luck. Warning: The jerk chicken wrap in horribly hot and we like hot foods. Wife was unable to take a second bite. Yikes!!! Mentioned this to waitress and she said nothing back. You just don’t get the feeling guests are welcome. We will not be coming back.

Our Beachfront property affords a spectacular location right on the beach at little apple bay in the west end of Tortola. We have a selection of accommodation that can be configured to suit the needs of singles, couples and families. Our in-expensive tropical yard rooms have long been a favorite for visiting yacht charter guests, scuba divers and surfer's. While our Beachfront rooms and our Seaside Villas are preferred for longer term stays.
We stayed at Sebastions after deciding to come to Tortola at the last minute. We upgraded to the King suite that was literally right on the beach, in fact we had to close the door in the night because the surf was too loud. Great problem to have. Lol. The beach was beautiful white sand and although a little tricky to get in was very swimmable. There were stones just where the waves broke. Anyway the place was great and the staff were wonderful. Now we knew nothing about Tortola and most reviews we read were from people that have spent a lot of time there. So if you're staying at Sebastions or probably anywhere get a car. It costs about 50 bucks to get a taxi from the airport and at least 25 bucks wherever you go. The roads are interesting but the drivers are courteous. We wanted to see the other islands but found there was so much to do on Tortola that we will wait til next time and rent a boat for the day.

Completely newly refurbished official opening on 1st November 2019 . The Lambert Beach Resort is a planned destination Resort located on the northeast shore of Tortola , the largest and most populus Island of the British Virgin Islands (BVI) . The distance from the International Airport at Beef Island is approximately 10 minute drive , and Road Town the Capital is approximately 20 minute drive . One of the property's main assets is the beach , a wonderful stretch of fine sand recognized as being amongst the most picturesque beaches in the Carribean with his 1,500 feet of frontage . All the services and facility will be ready for the 1st November , at this moment we are work in progress , sorry for the inconvenience.
Honestly, you need to completely disregard the recent one star of the Wyndham Tortola that talks about rooms being "roach infested and ant infested," and a lot of other complete nonsense exploitative and deceptive management. Nothing could be further from the truth based on my just completed stay. This a wonderful place and a bargain to boot. Having just spent two full weeks there, I can tell you -- unequivocally -- that this is a spectacular place to stay and an incredible bargain. First, the beach is pristine and spectacular. It's now my favorite beach in the world, and I've been to many -- from Vieques to Bonaire to Isla Holbox to St. Martin. When I say pristine, I mean it is a beach as you'd imagine it a hundred years ago -- where you can wade and swim with shoals of silvery fish and get within feet of tarpon and bonefish when they cruise the shallows. Second, the resort is small enough that the beach is often empty -- particularly as people retreat to the pool at day's end or the bar during the heat of midday. And as you look around this spectacular crescent of beach, bracketed mountains and close by islands, it hard not to be awestruck. Third, rooms are great -- just the right size, terrific air conditioners that keep the temperature as cold as you'd want, great water pressure, great beds, and a sizable refrigerator to hold your food and beverages. Fourth, the restaurant serves good food. The menu is somewhat limited, but we're foodies and we did just fine with a little repetition over two weeks. There is always fresh fish, often fresh grilled lobster, and killer pancakes in the morning (and great drinks!). Finally, the management and staff are caring, friendly, and efficient. You always return to a pristine room.

The Heritage Inn is just what you want if you are looking for the total getaway. The Inn is located on the hilltop of a sleepy village: Carrot Bay, on the north side of Tortola. These comfortable apartments offer probably the most breathtaking views on the island: "voted Best sunset view in the BVI!" 180 degrees east and west and overlooking Jost Van Dyke, Sandy & Green Cays and three Tortola bays. This locally owned inn is quaint and quiet. Each suite has a private view-facing balcony and is furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, living room and AC king-size bed in bedrooms. Three suites have two bedrooms for family or friendly vacationers. Six, clean and comfortable, one bedroom suites also offer enough space to just forget your cares and hang out for a week. The views are so beautiful that most guests just "gape" for the first few days. In the summer the sun sets directly over the water. It is so beautiful that the locals go up for sunset cocktails at the BananaKeet Cafe on the poolside veranda to watch the sun setting over the awesome horizon. It's no wonder the slogan reads... the Higher you Get... the Better the Views!!
We pulled in for a bite to eat after a big day and we’re blown away by the views!, simply incredible and impossible to catch in pictures. Then the food came . Fabulous!, Do yourself a favour and eat there it’s well worth the ride. I had the rack of lamb and was totally impressed
