Upon arrival the staff was very inviting and friendly. Check in went smooth and we were off to the poolside bar & restaurant. Beautiful setting and nice pool area. The food was good but they have what I consider a very limited menu. Our first room was clean but the AC wouldn't shut off so it was like 65f or 18c degrees. They tried repairing it but it stayed cold all night. They moved us the next day. We were promised a corner ocean front room with our Diamond status but they only gave us an ocean front 3rd floor room. The hotel is older and it shows, they need to do some serious updates to this Hilton. The restaurants are just OK, nothing to brag about but easier than going out some nights. The staff (all of them) were always very friendly and helpful. This hotel just needs some TLC. Seaweed is the next issue, there were tons of seaweed that washed in during our stay making it almost impossible to swim to the hotel beach. They tried cleaning it up but everyday it washed ashore again. Meanwhile Carlisle Bay was untouched by the seaweed. The first time here we stayed on the resort at Sandals this time we explored the island with our rental car. Definitely worthwhile but being from the US driving on the left was a stressful challenge but I would do it again. Barbados Wildlife Reserve was a fun day as well.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll to nearby shops and beaches, or take a taxi to visit Bridgetown attractions like Pelican Craft Village and the George Washington House.
The service at reception and the concierge was exceptional. Staff at the hotel were generally quite pleasant. The location is exceptional. Quite near to restaurants, Bridgetown, transportation and other beaches. However, there were parts of the hotel room which appeared to require some more attention. In these times of Covid-19 and other contagious diseases which are spread by touching surfaces, areas such as knobs, doors, light switches, drapes and the like should be sanitized to a point where they actually look clean. I noted several areas that appeared to have been neglected and this was quite concerning considering the extent to which it was visible. This hotel is good value for money if you are willing to turn a blind eye to such things.

Island Inn is a quaint, 24 room, all inclusive property with meeting and function facilities. Situated less than a mile from the centre of Historic Bridgetown and within the Garrison Area – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hotel is footsteps away from the beach at the beautiful Carlisle Bay and Pebbles Beach and is conveniently close to shops and restaurants. Island Inn will amaze you with its disarming simplicity and old world charm. Whether you’re here alone, with the family, or with a group, travelling on vacation or on business, the Island Inn Hotel offers an unrivaled warmth of atmosphere, with contemporary trappings and a true Bajan experience. Originally constructed in 1804 as a Rum Storage facility for the British Regiment, Island Inn Hotel is now part of the historic Garrison area of Barbados. The building was designated a national treasure of Barbados.
Island Inn exceeded all of my expectations. From the staff to the food and spacious and very clean accommodation my family and I had an amazing time. The staff was very accomodating with my 7 month baby and ensured that we were good for the duration of our stay. The food was amazing and Valery was so sweet and thoughtful. Highly recommend for a quick peaceful getaway or even a lengthy relaxing stay. We would have easily selected five stars however, if you are driving there isn't much space for cars to park. Otherwise amazing experience. Definitely value for money.

Located on the beautiful South Coast on the island of Barbados, just off the main road of Worthing in the parish of Christ Church. Palm Garden Hotel is a cosy 26-unit hotel. It is a 2-minute walk from one of the best beaches and swimming areas in Barbados. It is within easy walking distance (just 2 minutes) from supermarkets, ATMs, commercial banks, post office, police station. Public transportation is near the hotel's entrance with direct bus service to Bridgetown (capital of Barbados, just 15 to 20 minutes away), Oistins, Holetown and Speightstown. Excellent shopping, dining and night club entertainment (St. Lawrence Gap) 8 to 10 minutes away. Flexibility of accommodation and location allows for a good blend of leisure and business travel.
We needed a quiet place to stay for a night after coming off a cruise, until our flight the next day. Palm Garden Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable (twin beds) and very clean. The A/C worked. The (included) breakfast in the attached restaurant was quite good. The location was quiet, and just what we needed. Wifi was great. Room included a kitchenette. Shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure.

My dad and I were very fortunate to have had a month long stay in this very beautiful and secure accommodation. It met our expectations and was truly home away from home. The ambience is set in an ideal location called Haqqat Hall just outside of Bridgetown, 7 minutes to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and close proximity to most if not all essential services, shops, malls, Starbucks. I enjoyed Malfranza apartment for it has all amenities wifi smart TV, and functional kitchen well catered for dining within. I miss the peaceful environmental where I enjoyed many mornings walking around the neighbourhood, pleasant people who greeted us, very warm and caring customer service from the owner who greeted us at the balcony area at least 95% of the duration of our stay. We had clean linens supply weekly. Thanks for your hospitality abs the warmth of your family who made us feel very homely. Dad doesn’t travel a lot but he still tells me how much he misses Malfranza and the next trip to Barbados, Malfranza Apartment is our number 1 choice.
