Whether you are planning a relaxing retreat, seeking a couple's getaway, or traveling with a group, the LakeHouse Inn invites guests to experience a luxury waterfront stay. The Inn sits on top of a cliff providing some of the best Berkshire views and sunsets. The LakeHouse's accommodations, mindful service, waterfront location and amenities contribute to the true Berkshire experience.
My husband and I spent 2 nights at the LakeHouse Inn celebrating a retirement and 65th birthday. Our celebration will be remembered with the most wonderful feelings because of this very special place. Thank you to all the previous visitors who left glowing and accurate reviews. We did our homework and this place did not disappoint. Our room and bathroom were updated with a contemporary feeling that we really appreciate and everything was exceptionally clean. The outdoor space connected to our room was glorious and the view of the lake spectacular. Breakfast was included, and it was absolutely wonderful. The homemade muffins, blueberry pancakes, eggs and bacon, and French toast were so good! Even the coffee was perfect! We also enjoyed the wine and cheese hour before heading out to dinner. Being able to sit and enjoy the amazing view of the lake during this time is a memory we will cherish. We are avid kayakers and brought our own kayaks with us. Spending the day on the water next to the inn was so much fun! Not to worry….if you don’t own kayaks, they are available at the inn….and paddle boards as well. Thank you Cody for your kindness, professionalism and dedication to making this special place one we will visit again and recommend to all.

The Cornell Inn is a classic bed and breakfast, completely re-imagined. Featuring stunning, contemporary designer rooms in three 130-plus year old buildings, the Inn offers a gourmet, table served breakfast; a spectacular tavern; unbelievably delicious coffees, lattes, cappuccinos and espressos; and, depending on the season, fresh home-made ice cream, or warm cider with cinnamon, and, in the evenings, cognac. All rooms come with their own walk-in showers, Keurig machines, cable TV and private bathrooms. Many of the rooms have a fireplace and private balconies. All rooms also have air conditioning, mini-fridges, irons, ironing boards and flat screen TVs. Our team is devoted to giving our guests an amazing experience in the Berkshires!
We stayed at the Cornell Inn for 3 nights. The inn has been completely renovated, and is very up to date and welcoming. The grounds are lovely--from the waterfall and koi pond to the grassy area where you can play a game of croquet. Tables are all around the pond on an outside patio. You can enjoy breakfast there, as well as your delicious, HOMEMADE sangria that greets you when you arrive! Lovely to sit outside with your (also complimentary), brandy in the evenings. There is a basket of cozy blankets available to use if you feel a little chilly. Nice common area with a fireplace, and a separate bar room that has a puzzle on a puzzle table that you can sit and work on while you enjoy a cocktail. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. We had a complimentary bottle of local wine in our room, and a well stocked coffee bar. Shower was a good pressure, and not a measly trickle that is so common now. The breakfast is outstanding! Not just bagels and coffee here! This is a full sit down breakfast with a variety of excellently made options each day. Fritata was light and fluffy, great french toast, and choice of sides. You can also have a latte or cappuccino if that makes your heart happy :) There are warm brownies (Gasp!) available at any time, as well as a variety of teas. Owner and staff were friendly, helpful and genuinely wanted to please their guests. Easy, short drive into Lenox, and close to other Berkshire towns. Just a wonderful, wonderful stay @ the Cornell Inn! Would highly recommend you go for a few days.

Professionally decorated in a traditional New England style, Vacation Village in the Berkshires offers spacious suites with amenities such as fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs, and fully appointed kitchens. Commanding a stunning view of the Jiminy Peak ski area, your home at Vacation Village will also serve as your gateway to all that the Berkshires has to offer.
The kitchen did not come with all the normal supplies like other resorts. No salt/pepper and minimal cooking utensils. Great views but no paths beside roads to walk on. Nothing close, everything is at least 15 min drive. Great mountain resort but come ready to stay.

Perfectly good hotel. Modern hotel, in a bit of a sprawl type of Main Street, but, set back from the main road (and behind a traditional motel). Very well run, very professional staff, and very nice and clean facilities and rooms. Even a little arcade of sorts for the kids and kids at heart (see pic). Including an air hockey table, Buck Hunter, and a 1 on 1 motorcycle game. Could do with fewer money eating claw games and whatnot, and have more upright cabinet style actually video games. Ideally an 80’s/90’s one or two. Pool and hot tub were decent, but the room itself could get rather humid and stuffy, so, some additional ventilation or A/C, or just simply dehumidification worked in line I to that system would be great, especially for this that like to catch up on work with electronics by the pool. It is located only minutes away from The Red Lion Inn, a fair amount of good hiking trails and mountains - one less than 5 minutes away (see pic), and it is a rather quiet hotel - and town. A “sleepy town”, in the sense that all things basically close at 9pm. Kitchens closing at 8-8:30pm or so. So, plan accordingly. An ideal place to stay if attending a wedding nearby, and you’d like all of the modern comforts of a decent hotel. I’d stay again, but only if The Red Lion Inn we’re to be at capacity.

Enjoy comfortable accommodations and warm hospitality in tranquil surroundings. Situated on three verdant acres next to a horse farm, Maple Terrace offers peaceful country living in the heart of Williamstown. Its privileged location is just a short walk from Williams College, the famed Clark Art Institute, Williamstown Theater Festival and many other local attractions.
We have been staying at the Maple Terrace Motel 10 or so days a year for the past 12 years. Why? It is the best in the area. The staff goes overboard to insure we are happy. Every year we stay there we see improvements we never knew needed improving. This year the parking lot was was repaved and relined. In spite of Covid we felt safe and found no inconveniences. The grounds are beautiful, including the adjoining horse boarding farm seen from the rear of the hotel, along with comfortable chairs, numerous picnic tables, a very large, well maintained swimming pool, and beautiful gardens. Don’t expect modern furniture, but it is clean and comfortable. If in Williamstown, try it…you won’t be sorry you did..

Overall this hotel is clean and comfortable with wonderful staff members. The keyless entry, works like a charm. The morning breakfast is typical – make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, yogurt. A few things to note: - the windows do not open (so no listening to the very beautiful sound of the tree frogs out of the pond) - there are no microwaves in the room, but I understand they are available upon request - The end room refrigerator has no temperature control so you get what you get for temperature. The refrigerators also do not have a freezer section to them, so no refreezing you’re traveling ice packs I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. And regardless of where my room is it remains very quiet at night. Occasionally you may hear people in the hallway but never excessively noisy. The location is very convenient. You can easily walk to Price chopper, Marshalls, CVS, the wonderful wine and cheese store.

Seven Hills, set on 27 acres of lush lawns and stunning gardens, is ideal for year-round vacations, romantic getaways, destination weddings, family reunions, and corporate events. This Gilded Age Mansion, located in the heart of the Berkshires, invites you to enjoy the luxuries of a time long since passed. With a comprehensive renovation underway, we look forward to introducing the re-imagined Seven Hills in the late winter of 2019.
We stayed here April 2022 just for one night to the Berkshires to do some sightseeing and hiking. First thing we encountered upon arrival was a difficulty finding the door to go inside. Sounds silly but It’s just a big brown door hidden by vines and there’s no entrance sign. Pictures online look a LOT better than this place does in person. It’s a very old building and its age shows — a bit dingy and dirty with peeling paint and unkept grounds — building and grounds need TLC. We booked the Carriage House which is not in the main building, but more like an old roadside Motel that has undergone a superficial cosmetic remodel. The main building has a lot of character, but as I said earlier it could use some TLC. I always stay top floor if possible because I hate hearing footsteps overhead — so when the front desk person asked if a ground floor was ok I said “as long as you don’t put anyone right above us”. She said no problem, we are usually very empty on Sundays. When we got to the room we found it to be very clean and pretty nice. Bed was comfortable and linens were clean. An hour after we were all settled in and enjoying a glass of wine we heard our neighbors stomping around overhead. UGH!! At that point it was too difficult move rooms so we dealt with it. The stomping woke us several times that night as late as 1am. Place was understaffed (time of year or COVID coulfd be the culprit there so we understood. When I went to check out I had to walk all around the entire main building to finally find somebody in the back kitchen to settle my bill. Breakfast was minimal (coffee, muffins and bagels). Overall you can’t beat the price. Room was clean and comfortable and more than adequate accommodations.
