Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a country of 32 beautiful Caribbean islands in the idyllic Caribbean, stretching south from Saint Vincent Island to Grenada. Proud of its French and British colonial history, it is now part of the Commonwealth of Nations and CARICOM. Bequia, pronounced "Beck-way”, is blessed with white sandy beaches, coral reefs, and friendly people. Port Elizabeth is a bustling yachting town. Enjoy yachting, scuba diving and snorkeling over coral reefs. Restaurants on Bequia tend to be small, friendly local enterprises. Try “goat water” soup, Bitter Lemon a popular soda and Hairoun the local brew. The island of St. Vincent, originally named Hairouna by the native Caribs, is relatively small, and its mountainous landscape makes getting around a challenge. Its capital is Kingstown and also its main port. Follow the Vermont Nature Trail and experience the spectacle of more than 500 parrots in flight. Numerous endemic species make this trail their home. Take a stroll along a scenic coastal path and take pleasure in the numerous waterfalls or hike to Fort Charlotte and be amazed by the views. Challenge yourself by a climbing the Soufriere volcano.

My wife and I stayed with Martin and Julie four nights in the Infinity studio. Everything about their amazing property exceeded our expectations. The room is spectacular with a full kitchen, comfy bed, and spectacular soaking tub. They go above and beyond with communication and making sure everything you need is made available. We had a last minute change of plans for our trip to Tobago caye due to the weather and they arranged to have Gunno their regular and wonderful taxi driver pick us up at the ferry and drop us off at the pick up spot and take our bags up to their house. Julie was thinking of us and knew we would be wiped out after the trip to Tobago and made sure we selected one of their pre made meals so we could relax at the end of our long day. The infinity pool and huge deck are spectacular and we enjoyed several sunsets with our evening cocktails. We opted to add the breakfasts to our package and Annemarie and Zenne are great cooks and worked with us so we could enjoy our breakfast on the veranda and have Gunno get us down to Dive Bequia on time for our morning dives. If your thinking about staying here we could not provide a more positive recommendation, Martin and Julie and their support staff will ensure your stay on Bequia is everything you dreamed and more!!!

We went in May of 2022. Not a lot of people then (season is over) the room was nice clean and well maintained. The owner’s were there at the time he was very nice. Our favorite table on the water was always ready for us thanks to Candy our server, the bar keep Dahren was great. Office staff was friendly and helped with anything we needed. Visited the Granadine Sea salt factory the salt made on the island is a great place to visit. (Say Hi to Liz for me) Friendly people at the hotel and all who lived there. Thanks to Gideons taxi’s they were always reliable and nice. Beaches were clean and clear. Island is pretty clean not like a lot of other islands we have been to. Would go again.

Spring Hotel Bequia is an idyllic, luxury Caribbean boutique hotel nestled in untouched Bequia, the second largest island of St Vincent and the Grenadines. A stone's throw from its more famous neighbor Mustique, Bequia has retained its old world charm having escaped the tourism boom while keeping its 1960's feel and small island friendliness.Spring Hotel Bequia blends Caribbean authenticity, American modernity, and European charm on a 2-acre garden and estate. With ten spacious suites, Spring Hotel caters for guests who are accustomed to the finest vacation experience and who value the sanctity of their own private home away from home.
Beautiful location with very clean rooms and an amazing staff! All the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially our waitress/bartender Tammy, Glen our transportation driver, and Jason the manager. Everyone at the hotel made us feel at home. I couldn't think of a better place to unwind after a week of sailing.

The duplex-style beach cottage is located right on tranquil Friendship Bay Beach. The lush garden that houses the Sugarapple Inn's pool and verandah is a short walk away, and guests of the beach cottage are welcome to walk over and enjoy. Bustling Port Elizabeth is only a few minutes' drive via the "dollar van" route, where other Grenadine adventures are easily accessible.
I have just spent 11 days at Sugarapple On The Beach. The pictures are so accurate of a wonderful, tranquil haven on the island of Bequia. Cilla and her staff were really friendly and helpful and looked after us brilliantly. Using the Dollar buses that stop at the top of the road by the Inn, it's so easy to get into Port Elizabeth, Princess Margaret Beach and Lower Bay. Cilla organised for us to take a water taxi to Mustique for lunch at Basil's bar and we did a day trip on the Friendship Rose to Tobago Cays to swim with turtles. I wanted a cottage on the beach with sun and azure blue seas and Sugarapple On The Beach ticked all the boxes.

We stayed in a beach front villa for 9 days and it was fabulous from day one! The location is perfect, the room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Lovely beach front restaurant. Snorkeling every morning before breakfast seeing turtles, lobsters, octopus, moray eel and lots of reef fish. Lovely staff. Lots of nice bars and restaurants near-by. We are a very well travelled couple and this us one of the nicest places we have ever visited!

Ok so we were a bit lucky. Maybe more than a bit. We were upgraded at a quiet time just after re-opening to a two bedroom suite with its own swimming pool. And it was the first opportunity to get away to somewhere pretty special in a few years. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that The Liming provided 10 days af something close to bliss. The room was as spotlessly clean at tall times as seems to be a standard expectation post pandemic, security kept even the local goats at bay, the welcome was warm and professional (not an easy mix) and every member of staff, from housekeeping to front of house, was unfailingly friendly. First, the logistics. We flew from London to Barbados then transferred to an inter island flight. That process was very straightforward and the brief stop in Mustique, with its ski jump runway, was an experience in itself. It is possible to fly to St Vincent and take a ferry which is cheaper but takes longer. Depends what works for you. On arrival in Bequia, a taxi was waiting for us to make the under five minute transfer. The Liming is directly under final approach to the airport so if that bothers you, bear it in mind. Flights are infrequent and pass in seconds, so for us, not an issue at all. Regulations change so check but in March 2022, a clear PCR test taken within 24 hours of departure was required even for a transit back to the UK through Barbados and though The Liming could easily arrange for it to be done at another hotel, it’s worth checking and making sure you don’t forget! Logistics covered, what’s the hotel like? Basically, very very low key, rooms and suites arranged in the manicured gardens, a bar, a restaurant, a small quay from which to board your boat for an island tour and a quiet, sheltered bay. If nightlife is what you seek, look elsewhere. Like somewhere other than Bequia. What is there to do? Nothing, other than stroll along the beach, read, relax, listen to your music, stroll over to the bar, take your time over lunch, take more of your time over dinner. A taxi into Port Elizabeth is always an option and the scuba diving, care of Dive Bequia in my case (other brands are available…), is easy and fun. But with friendly, attentive service, a menu which is perhaps not stellar but certainly able to keep you interested for at least a week’s stay, a kitchen willing to help if you do fancy something different, a wine list which is reasonable for the Caribbean, whilst the little capital is definitely worth a day out, The Liming remains the main event. Let’s be clear: it’s not for thrill seekers of any kind and i do get the “no atmosphere” comment - the restaurant is very open and was never full when we were there so generating “atmosphere” isn’t easy. But if your emphasis is on full de-stress and you are willing to give in to the essential simplicity of the place, The Liming might just be the answer to the perennial question: where next?

One mile from the main dock, set in the quiet peaceful location of Spring Valley.
A stunningly beautiful location on a very pretty unspoiled island of Bequia. The hotel is more like a large estate than a commercial hotel. The rooms are really large with big balcony's and lovely views. Staff were super nice and couldn't do enough for us. Great food and super kind service.

Keegan's on Lower Bay, Bequia, St Vincent and The Grenadines, right by the beach with a choice of Hotel rooms, apartments and a cottage. Situated on beautiful Lower Bay, a near mile long stretch of golden sand lapped by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Swim before a leisurely breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the beach and sea. Enjoy our home cooked meals and the hospitality our family has been providing since 1978 in Lower Bay.
One of the best pizzas on the island. Also great value. The place is always there to help. The view is wonderful with refreshing island breezes. Smitty is the owner and always makes sure everyone is well taken care of. They have well prized drink specials and other specials and things to try.

Gingerbread Hotel offers six self-contained rooms each with a private veranda that open up to stunning view of the Caribbean Sea. Located just off the Belmont Walkway on the waterfront in Admiralty Bay, the Hotel is centrally located with easy access to nearby restaurants, beaches and the main harbor. Located on-site includes a dive jetty, tennis court, cafe, spa, spirits shop, island guest services and a beautiful tropical garden. It really is a great little spot!
We have visited Bequia so many times and never had the opportunity to stay here. We arranged with another couple to stay for a 2 night stay and we were so very pleasantly surprised. The apartment was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Whilst a little dated in parts it really provided all of our needs with a lot of space. The verandah watching the boats up and down was just perfectly positioned. We enjoyed walking to nearby eateries and other hotels for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We were within walking distance of a spectacular beach and really had a lovely time. Staff were super friendly and helpful with all our needs. We will definitely make this our go to on our future visits to this beautiful island.
