Situated in the centre of Baska Voda, Hotel Croatia is right on the waterfront, close to restaurants, coffee bars, beach cafes and shops. The beautiful pebble beaches for which the Makarska Riviera is famous are close by, and the closest is only 100 m from this charming hotel. Hotel Croatia opened in 2008 and, in homage to past times, its facade bearing the characteristics of original Dalmatian architecture was preserved, while the interior was fitted out with fascinating stone staircases and an indoor garden. This charming four-star hotel combines traditional architecture and intimacy, with 18 rooms on the ground floor and two upper floors. Hotel Croatia doesn't have private parking, so if you are coming with a car public parking is available in front of the hotel along the promenade or just 150m from the hotel in the marina and fees apply.
Brilliant Hotel and fantastic Staff

Nella and her staff were totally committed to making our stay the best it could possibly be. Nothing was too much bother.....they even sorted a parking fine I'd picked up in Split. Baska Voda itself is really lovely with plenty to do and places to go ......marina; pebbled beach; walks; cycling; sailing etc. Restaurants and Bars are plentiful and very reasonable (special mention to Puntin's Restaurant - food was excellent and well priced and The Brothers Bar - good service and Premier League games) We hired a car and went further afield too...Krakr National Park is absolutely stunning and Makarska, Split and Trogir are all well worth a visit. The whole area is just beautiful and a MUST to visit. Our experience of Croatia is one we will never forget and hope to return, but the thing that really made the holiday were people in the Hotel Croatia. They were just amazing.

Perfect vacation
Reviewed By marija1504My vacation in Baska Voda was perfect. I absolutely love hotel Horizont. I had a room with the sea and mountain view at the same time. The room was very comfortable and it had all the features you need on vacation. The breakfast was great with lots of options. One of my favorite things in the hotel was Spa. I loved spending time at the pool. Location of the hotel is excellent, right next to the beach. And the final thing I want to mention is that the service was impeccable. Special thanks to manager Luka and his staff who made sure that everything was perfect.

Fantastic location
Reviewed By Loris BFantastic location simply can not do better, neat, clean hotel, realistic values, it is a pity that the sauna does not have a separate relax zone than it is in the pool. Rich breakfast, the room we had is really small and without a view (damage) but therefore clean and tidy. Friendly staff.

Reviewed By Topias PSuper helpfull staff, and they upgraded our rooms beacuse they had empty rooms. Clean and roomy, and the pool was nice touch. Breakfest was also great. Staff was also super helpfull with our car problems. The village seemed nice and it was a shame we did not have more time to explore.

Reviewed By DawriWe spent 7 nights here early October. The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything you could need. The apartment is a good size with a lovely balcony. The family who run the alartments were incredibly friendly and helpful. It is at the top of a hill but this was no trouble for us but home to us has several large hills we contend with daily so are used to it. I would recommend staying here. Be mindful if you arrive by transfer coach as they do not drop you off outside but nothing google maps can't solve.

Our family run hotel is situated in a quiet part of Baska Voda, the popular tourist-place on the Croatian coast, out of noise and crowd, and only 450 m far from the main beach, designated with a blue flag. The city-center, with many sights, churches, museums, restaurants, cafe bars, can be reached in a 5-minute walk, which is in all cases useful to our health, condition and figure. If it is not enough to you, there is a magnificent mountain, called Biokovo, on the other side. One can use a lot of cycling tracks, visit a lot of attractive mountain paths and places on it. Our hotel consists of 18 top-ordered rooms, all with a fantastic view to the sea and the mountain of Biokovo, its own restaurant for "buffet" breakfast (included in the price of accommodation), lift, own parking places and a garage, and all other things needed for the perfect holidays.
Friendly small hotel with excellent service
Reviewed By Tiinaa1806We stayed in a lovely room with a sea view, air con, bed was super comfortable and everything was in a good state, spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, standard offer of breads, buns, croissants, yogurts, sausages, eggs, fruits, salads, cheeses and salamis. Every day they made something different like pancakes, fritule (local pastry), French toast,... Pool is quite handy considering high temperatures and bar had everything we asked for. Staff is super friendly, they made us feel like home, even better ? Baska Voda was quite busy and loud. If you're looking for a quiet place to rest, this is definitely a place to visit!

Можно пойти вечером как в одну, так и в другую сторону. В сторону Брелы очень красивый променад. Прямо у отеля есть оборудованный пляж. В сторону Брелы есть красивые дикие пляжи. Отдельное спасибо сотрудникам Джозефуи Иване. Помогали в решении всех возникающих вопросов. Обязательно приеду ещё раз

Overall nice hotel, though a bit pretentious

Pros: - Great location and views (maybe not in all rooms) - Modern, clean and nicely designed rooms and facilities - Very good room cleaning service - Kind staff Cons: - Poorly managed dining service - Mediocre and sometimes simply unsatisfactory cooking - Not really suitable for vegetarians (you will get by, but your options are very limited and very repetitive) - Atmosphere of pretentiousness that makes the experience at the hotel a bit tense. The staff managment is probably desperate to make the whole thing seem top-class, but lacks both the experience and know-how which often creates grotesque situations that manifest especially during dining. - Rooms need a couple more tweaks regarding practicality, the same goes for spa. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommed the hotel, but you would be smart to have dinners some place else.

If you want to spend the most beautiful days in a year, your summer vacation, in a magical little town, surrounded by the Adriatic Sea and the great mountain Biokovo; and in a completely new, modern and fully-equipped apartment- Vila Adrijana is the right choice for you. Apartments consist of living room, bedroom, fully-equipped kitchen (refrigerator, grill microwave, and eating utensils), dining area and the spacious bathroom. Moreover, all the apartments have the terrace/ balcony, and most of them have the sea and the mountain view. The apartments are equipped with the air conditioner, satellite TV, WI-FI and the telephone. Vila Adrijana is situated 150 meters from the town center and 180 meters from the main beach, which proudly holds the blue flag. It is situated in the peaceful part of the town, in the dead-end street. The bus stop is only 200 meters away, and all the guests have secured and free parking spot.

Reviewed By tanjakristenssonBaska voda is a nice town but very busy during high season. However if you only walk 10 minutes away from the crowded beach you will find a lot less people. The hotel was perfect located in center but in a calm place. We rented good bikes several days at the hotel which was a perfect way to explore the area. We had everything we needed at the hotel and enjoyed our stay! The owner is very nice and helpful! Thanks!
