The best part of the visit was the staff, they all take great pride in working at that location, they take ownership and show it. We got the first waffle from their new waffle machine, shaped like the state of TX. Highly recommend.

Welcome to the Texas Hill Country. Grab your jeans, boots and hat! The Flying L is a great place to reconnect with friends and family. Founded in 1947, Flying L is rich in aviation history. Round up your group for a reunion or retreat. Corporate spaces and wedding venues also available. With it's own bar and grill, you won't even have to leave the ranch!
Six of our family stayed here. Great time! Much to choose from. Very relaxing and friendly staff. It was so hot but we still had a great time. The horseshoes, ping pong, pool, putt putt, camp fire with s’mores. Just wonderful and will definitely go again.

My wife and I wanted to get away from the city but didn’t want to travel too far; I looked up a few places near Lost Maples and was fortunate to find this place. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing spot, this is it. The cabins are well kept and comfortable. The grounds are amazing. We enjoyed the absolute silence and tranquility. We heard nothing but birds and wind chimes. We fell in love with the night sky and did not want to leave. The area is close to Lost Maples and is a place we will visit often. We highly recommend this for a quiet getaway.

The ranch is near Pipe Creek, Texas located on Highway 16 only a few miles outside Loop 1604 from San Antonio, with four comfortable guest rooms. Our Lorene House vacation home has two queen bedrooms that share a bathroom with shower.
As I prepared for our trip to Texas hill country, something about Glory Hills drew me. When we arrived, it was even better than we expected. Some friends of ours also booked, and we had lots of room to enjoy our time together. The food was great, and the hostess was very accommodating and friendly. I don’t know exactly when a B&B hostess can be called a new friend, but I can see how it would happen at places like Glory Hills. We had a great tour of the ranch, enjoyed seeing the wildlife there, and sat on the porch and looked at the stars at night. I’m hoping to return with three other couples for a warm spring break.

West 1077 Guest Ranch isn't the typical dude ranch: no mass tourism, no schedules to follow! Go hiking, try one of the mountain bikes, book a private horseback ride onsite at „Juniper Hill Stables“ or bring your own horse along – enjoy all activities at your own leisure. The ranch has direct access to the adjoining Hill Country State Natural Area, a state park with 5,500 acres of breathtaking scenery and 40+ miles of trails. Whether you are a competitive trail runner, a hard core mountain biker, you just want to go for a peaceful nature walk or explore the area on horseback, the property and the adjoining State park offer trails for any level of experience in unspoiled territory. Relax in the swimming pool, play a game of pool, ping pong, badminton or meet new friends. Enjoy the privacy of your own comfortable cabin and sit on your own porch soaking up the beautiful views. Just get away from daily routine and experience a different dude ranch. You will not leave disappointed!
What an amazing experience at this wonderful ranch. Eileen is a perfect host and an awesome chef cooking vegetarian breakfast which was absolutely delicious. My high light on this adventure was the horse riding being my life long dream and now an unforgettable memory. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this professional and friendly ranch.

She was extremely rude. Room was nothing like described by booking agent. No toilet or shower in rooms. We paid for 7 nights and only stayed 1. She stole $500 from me. Won't respond to my emails. This is the worst business I have ever dealt with. Please do not stay there.

I went there for a day and it was a great hidden gem under all the resorts of the area. They offer hunting, water activities, offroading and many more activities. I will be back there for a while weekend so I can enjoy the food that is included in the package. Check out the pictures I took for a short overview. Next time I will add another 20 to 50. So you can see how it updated to the pictures posted here.
