Found this place when traveling home to the uk. Traditional modernised hotel with a great rooms and a very good restaurant. Hosts were vey welcoming and spoke English. Everything was just right. If you don't mind a short drive to get away from main roads for a tranquil night, this is the place. Very good value.

Although we had booked rooms with Hotel Louise, we actually stayed in their so called „guesthouse“, an (admittedly beautiful) villa which is a five minutes‘ walk away from the hotel. That proved to be inconvenient, as breakfast is served in the main building of the hotel and it was raining in the morning. The rooms themselves were quite spacious and had balconies but some weird, overly kitschy design (e.g. a bed that stretched diagonally into the room). Also, our rooms were on the first and second floors (as the ground floor houses a gym) with no lift in the building. Last but not least, it takes quite a while to reach the city centre.

This modern, beautiful hotel is inside a park in a small town. There is a nice, big spa 7 minutes walk from the hotel. Our room is at the top floor which is newly refurbished except the bathroom. It is spacious, beautiful and with a terrace. It is very quiet and the bed is big and very comfortable. There is no air conditioning like a lot of German countryside hotels but there is a fan. However, if the weather is over 34c, it might be a bit too hot as it is just under the roof. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is great and quality of food is excellent. Nature is beautiful in that area with castles and rowing hills. It is also near beautiful French villages and towns. It is a very good base to explore the area. All and all, we recommend this hotel.

Stayed here over night. We took 2 rooms, one for our boys and one for us. Firstly it was difficult to find a parking space outside the hotel. The hotel did allow us to lock our bicycles in their garage. The hotel looks like it hasn’t been refurbished in a long while. The rooms were a good size but none of the expected items that you normally find in a hotel. No kettle so no where to make tea of coffee. They give you a free bottle of water but it was warm so not very refreshing. The bathroom was large. On entering the toilet brush was left in the toilet. There was a horrid brown smudge blob on the wall next to the toilet ( unsure what it was but ...), the bath had a shower in it but the shower door was to be found on our balcony ??. It had obviously had an attempt at being fixed as there was Duck tape on the hinges on the frame on the bath. The boys said the shower gels were empty but neatly placed back. On the good side the breakfast was better than we were anticipating. It had a good range of cereals, breads, yoghurts, teas, coffee, eggs, bacon, cold cuts and cheeses. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I have been by this hotel for years, have stayed in many other hotels in this town already. My usual haunts were booked on the dates of my visit so I took a room in this hotel. I loved the large room with the balcony overlooking a small lake. The breakfast was top rate.

Sicuramente stra consigliato.

Okay, we were told that we got an expetional low price (50,- per night) and usually you pay more, nevertheless the appartment was reat: spacious, light, clean, big balcony with table and 2 chairs, small kitchenette. Nice surroundings, nice sauna on a 10 minute walk also the place Bad Bergzabern was really nice. We can only recommend this place!
