Blue Poppy resorts in Auli has 24 wooden huts with modern facilities. The Blue poppy resort is located as most beautiful location in Auli. You can visit anytime during the year and you will be greeted with different type of landscapes according to the season of visit. You can see clouds in monsoon season, snow slopes in winter season and clear peaks in summer season. All the huts in the resort provide you a 180 degree view of the higher peaks like Hathi, Ghoda, Palki and Nanda Devi. This is the only resort in Auli which is motor able and Nada Devi is visible. Our whole resort is constructed in alpine wood like Chid, Deodar and Raga. You will feel very nice fragrance of wood in the room. Apart from toilet floors and some pathways we did not use cement in our resort to protect the nature. This is heaven for birdwatchers as well. You can see lot of beautiful birds near the resort. We serve homely food and cook as per daily requirement. We never serve stale food.
Blue poppy has been a wonderful stay during our recent trip to Auli. It has the best location and gives a very peaceful stay experience. The staff is very kind and helpful. While selecting a hotel during your trip never go by the photos and only trust the reviews and I was lucky to have selected Blue poppy.

IT is a collection of huts near the government tourist house and the chairlift station. The food is ok. Go for drinks to the nearby government tourist house bar. The cottage is comfortable. Staff is ok. The view from the cottages though is the peak of our stay. Lovely view right from your window. Stay is comfortable. Warm water and heater in the room

At about 10000 ft, from the sea level, located in the Garhwal Himalayas of the state of Uttrakhand Cliff Top, Auli is the second highest resort located in the World. The resort provides a 270 degree clear view of the snow covered Nanda Devi range (the highest in india and third highest in the world). Other ranges in sight include Dronagiri, Kamet, Trishul, Neelkanth, Mana, and Mukut . They belong to the snow-line ranges which are covered with snow all round the year. In summers, when the snow gives way to carpets of grass and flowers, hikers and trekkers will find numerous marked walks and mountain bike trails. Trekkers to Kuari Pass and the Valley of Flowers prefer to stay on at Clifftop Club at the end of the trek to avail the luxury of hot baths and lavish cuisine. The property has 20 spacious family suites all equipped with state of an art facilities that one could ever imagine at such a location. Adequate lighting and heating arrangements are made in every room, with power back facilities.

Imagine the service of a Hotel with only 2-3 Rude staff, who are themselves the receptionist, also the chef, also does room service and also the bellboy. When asked for few whiskey glasses in the room, they straight away denied. Kitchen Service is pathetic. They only serve lunch & dinner. They do not take any orders even in the day time cz they don't have full time kitchen staff. Our dinner was included in the package and on day one of our stay, we were served dinner at around 10 pm. Imagine with small kids you getting served so late. We were waiting for it since 8pm and after 5-6 times reminder and requests, finally it was served by 10 pm. Rooms are small and very average. No walking space at all. They have stuffed unnecessary furnitures in the small rooms. Don't get fooled like us seeing good photographic skilled pictures of rooms on internet. We were a group of 9 people with 3-4 toddlers and were given rooms on the second floor, At the time of checkout, the guy who was sitting on the reception on day one, came as a bellboy and said he alone cannot take all the luggage down and he said rudely, you guys will have to help to get your luggage down. We had our worst two nights stay in this hotel. Attaching photos taken from the terrace of the hotel just a proof of our stay.

This is absolutely one of the best places I've ever been. Not only because it has a perfect location to see all the mountains, but also because of how the staff makes you feel since you arrive. They are very kind and always make you feel like home. The food is delicious, with its himalayas taste. Everything fresh and well cooked. The service take really good care of you, and help you with any inquiries you might have. The property has a tremendous view to the mountains, and specially to Nanda Devi. You could take amazing pictures from your room. Or even while having Breakfast or lunch. The rooms are very spacious modern and fully equipped. With wifi, hot water, parking. You could make coffee or tea from your room if you like and enjoy the view from your balcony. I definitely recommend to stay here if you're visiting Auli. You won't regret it at all. Thank you Casa Himalaya, for making my trip in India so special. You guys are really amazing and I hope to see you all soon again. Advice for the upcoming visitors: make a reservation directly with them via telephone or website. You'll get better rates :) Thank you Your friend from Germany RONALD

This is the best place we stayed at. I must appreciate the people, service and promptness with which they attended to our needs. The resort is very new and well maintained. The rooms are equipped with all amenities which one would require at such cold places. The beds have electric warming mechanism which I had never experienced anywhere else. When my wife and son fell ill and needed a doctor, they arranged their own car to take us to a nearby clinic. All staff including their reception, restaurant, chef were too helpful and were always with a smile. God bless them and I pray that they all prosper. Dinesh from the restaurant too was very kind and helpful. One thing where they can consider improving is installing machines to remove flies from the restaurant. There is always a room for improvement, isn't it :) We stayed there for three nights however the new rooms had no good view and had no exhaust in the bathroom. They accommodated us into another room which was better than the first one. I can recommend this resort to anyone. In addition to all the above, it has a great valley view. Please always carry warm clothes and rain-wear.

It was a truly amazing visit to the hotel. And probably one of the best too. The staff was quite professional, a hard thing to find at Hill Stations. I was the associate travel director for my group of friends and they all enjoyed the experience equally. Not only did they help with information about the local culture, but they also managed taxis and suggested visiting the best places nearby. Apart from that the rooms were well furnished, equipped with all the facilities mentioned and plenty of courtesy items as well. Overall this was the best hotel in the Joshimath area with all the bells and whistles totally justified for the price we were charged.
