Sri Lanka’s first eco luxury surf resort, Jetwing Surf is laden on an unspoilt stretch of beach in Pottuvil Point with magnificent waves gushing onto shore. Only a few minutes away from the surfer’s paradise Arugam Bay, this property is inclusive of 20 beach cabanas that will have comfortable amenities inspired by a unique style of architecture with structures made using wood, woven coconut palm leaves and reeds. To heighten the experience by the beach the design elements take the form of a horn shell allowing guests to wander freely and fully submerge in the tropical environs.

We arrived at the hotel on 15th April. It was a group booking with 35 family members. Reservation was provided by Mr. Sanjeewa. He gave us all the information and was very helpful. The staff was very flexible and friendly. The room conditions were superb. The linen stuff was clean and tidy. Even though it is not located on the beach side, it is only a 2-3 minute walk to the sandy beach in Arugambay. There were not many varieties of food but it was tasty and credit goes to the chef and we enjoyed it. They have a nice big pool. We enjoyed 2 days in the hotel. We recommend this hotel to everyone. The Hotel is really nice and good. Special thanks to Mr. Sanjeewa and the Chef.

Now is the time to take the step from land to water… From the tropical paradise we like to call home, Surf and yoga Arugam bay invites you to release and disconnect from your daily routine. Here you will find lush palm trees, fresh coconuts, and dreamy waves just a step away from your room. We are located in the town of Arugam Bay, on the East coast of Sri Lanka. Palm trees, wild elephants, and the fine sand form a stunning crescent beach, it truly is the perfect getaway for everyone. Some of the main Eastern surf spots are just steps away from the camp, a real treat for ocean lovers big or small! We also propose Yoga lessons amongst the neem leaves on our rooftop. We offer you a soul-enriching experience throughout your stay, where you can discover and grow on both the inside and outside.
I was nervous travelling as a solo traveller for the first time but the team at Surf and Yoga immediately made me feel like I was part of the family, at my home away from home. The camp is situated on beautiful open grounds with vast views where the nature is right on your doorstep. I personally loved the monkeys! My days always began with the most delicious and nutritious breakfast made by Madu. I am a notoriously fussy eater but the team were so kind and accommodated all of my dietary requirements no questions asked, this went for dinner too which was equally as varied and scrumptious after a packed day. I filled my time with surfing, learning the basics from the coaches really helped me improve my technique and im already itching to get back in the sea! I loved coming back and unwinding with some yoga. All in all I had the most unforgettable experience at surf and yoga Arugam bay, I've made friends I will never forget, learnt new skills and most importantly made memories to last a lifetime!

I stayed here for 8 night. It was originally for 4 nights but I loved the area and hotel so much I extended my stay. Sean the owner is awesome, so friendly and helpful. When I first arrived the hotel was fully booked with a large party, apart from one room, which I was told didn't have a balcony. Sean explained that the party were checking out in a few days and he said I could choose any room I wanted after that. He was true to his word and put me in a room that had the best view in the hotel. (Awesome for sunrise) The staff are so lovely and friendly, and although they may not fully understand everything you are saying, they will find someone who does and will do everything they can to help. Rooms are clean and bright and the buffet breakfast has plenty to choose from. The restaurant area and chilling area is just beautiful placed, where you have a stunning view of the beach and sea. Loved having my breakfast every morning looking out onto this. Great place for sunbathing too, where you can be served anything from their menu. I highly recommend this hotel, it's an absolute bargain for what you get and the people are just so wonderful. Thanks Sean and staff for an awesome stay. I'll definitely return one day ?

We welcome you with the Sri Lankan greeting which prays for your long life; Ayubowan! Come join us in the unmapped coastline tucked away in the eastern coastal belt of the island Sri Lanka overlooking the splendid waters of the Indian Ocean. Our island is abundant in nature from plush mountains to picturesque beaches. Experience one such aspect of our motherland by staying with Blue Waters Arugam Bay. Situated amid major surfing points like Whisky Point, Pottuvil point Arugam Bay and few kilometers away from Arugam Bay, our hotel is accessible to many other famous surfing points in Arugam Bay. One of the best Arugam Bay hotels, Blue Waters Arugam Bay has an Eco-tourism concept that strictly perseveres in preserving the environment without compromising on luxury. We provide our guests with luxurious rooms and open-air settings that leave a minimum carbon footprint while offering them the opportunity to enjoy Sri Lankan nature to its maximum. The architecture is inspired by the colorful seashells that adorn our Arugam Bay beach and is supported by wooden structures, woven palm leaves and dried illuk grass to feel the embrace of an authentic Sri Lankan environment. If you wonder why we are named Blue waters, the answer is simple. The blue waters of the ocean have been our companion for as far as we remember, and it is one of the common interests you share with us. We welcome you to indulge in the coziness of our rustic Chalets and the warmth of our hospitality.
We were 3 adults and 2 kids (3 and 5) and booked 2 cabanas. We purposely selected a hotel away from the town and it was the best decision. It’s just paradise there. Wooden cabanas with a little terrace in front of them and the whole beach to ourselves. Not a single soul most of the time. The water is a little too rough for swimming but a quick deep or a long walk is an absolute must. Rooms have a safe, towels, little fridge and fan. There is a little cafe within the hotel too where you can have a quick bite or a drink. Tuk Tuk drive to the town takes about 15 min and there you can find plenty of restaurants. Keep in mind not all of them survived Covid (sad) so aim for the ones that have this year reviews.
