Living up to its billing as “The Natural State”, the state is a nature wonderland with three national forests, nearly 9,000 miles of pristine streams and rivers, awe-inspiring settings in the Ozark and Quachita mountains and sparkling lakes. The menu of vacation experiences is an exciting one. For great golf, spas, horse racing and the Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs is the place to go. Outdoor enthusiasts love the Ozark Mountains where activities like canoeing, rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking and rock climbing are popular. The mountain village of Eureka Springs, with its streets lined with Victorian homes, is brimming with boutiques, antique shops and art galleries. Wine enthusiasts love the Arkansas Wine Country, encompassing the towns of Paris, Ozark and Altus, where German style wines are produced.
From its ancient mountains to the Delta flatlands leveled by the Mississippi River, the state has a diverse topography with numerous scenic drives. Try the Pig Trail, Ozark Highlands and Sylamore scenic byways in the Ozark National Forest designated by the U.S. Forest Service.
Golfers love the state because greens fees are extremely affordable for great courses. A few excellent public access courses are Sage Meadows in Jonesboro, Stonebridge Meadows in Fayetteville and the Mountain Ranch Course in Fairfield Bay.

In April my friends and I travelled from Illinois to Arkansas for a weekend of Hot Springs, horse racing and casino. We stayed at the Best Western which was great! But what made it excellent were 3 ladies, Donna, Alise, and Julie. These ladies took care of our morning breakfast. The personal attention we received from them was incredible. They talked with us and you could tell they loved what they did. One of us celebrated his birthday that weekend. These ladies had a cake and made him feel special on his birthday. The kindness at the Best Western from these 3 ladies will not be forgotten, as we still talk about them. From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you Donna , Alise and Julie for being so kind in this crazy world, we are truly grateful. May God bless you three abundantly!

Close to the University of Arkansas campus and right off the Downtown Square, Graduate Fayetteville is the perfect spot for your next visit to Razorback Country. From the hotel, it's just a short stroll to all the action on Dickson Street, as well as the dozens of shops and restaurants in the heart of Fayetteville. You'll feel happily at home in our warm, rustic lobby. It's our oasis in the foothills of the Ozarks, with reclaimed wood floors and found furniture. Kick up your feet and camp-out on the generous lobby sofa, clad in outdoorsy vintage tapestries. In guest rooms, find a bedside setup that channels the familiar outline of campus mainstay, Old Main, and camouflage carpet worth (duck) calling home about. Punchy patterns celebrate the funky, artistic heart of the 'Ville.
There are some people staying here who can get quite crazy and the hotel doesn't know how to handle it. Fight going on at 4AM and the hotel moved me to a same floor??? and I was so scared that the people next door was going to attack me or get crazier with guns. You can hear everything through the door between two rooms. Good luck sleeping.

“…it is a capital enterprise located in a capital building…and I trust will prove a capital success…” These words, we lovingly refer to as the first Capital Idea, inspired the birth of a hotel that has remained Little Rock’s “front porch” for 140 years. Since the 1876 debut many other Capital Ideas have found their way into the hotel through numerous renovations and the most recent full restoration completed in 2007. The culmination is the uncompromising comfort and convenience of a modern luxury hotel without any compromise of its rare historic character. The inspiration for our customer service is our dedication to personal attention and care often found when visiting friends and family. Instead of rehearsed scenarios, guests are personally greeted, welcomed, and immersed in an approach to service we call Southern Comfortable. Not surprisingly, “Be Huggable” is regarded as the North Star of our core values.
Stayed here for one night with my husband. It’s a nice hotel in a good location, not sure it’s worth the hype though as it’s pretty run down. Had a very strange experience when parking our car as well as we parked it in the parking lot, only for the security guard to then tell us to drive around to the front of the building for the valet to literally do the exact same thing - not what you want to hear after a three hour drive, not great for the environment and not worth $25!!!! Felt very conned by this action to be honest and therefore didn’t walk away with a great feeling about this hotel unfortunately…

Bennie was our taxi driver almost every time. Nicest man i’ve ever met & very personable. We even left our luggage at the place he picked us up at and he laughed and took us right back. Miss him already!

Charged over $200 for a room that was dirty when we checked in, had to be cleaned, sheets were still stained. Did not have towels or anything in the room. Scratches and torn leather on the headboard. Awful

No early check in (even 30 minutes early) was made alarmingly aware of this. Pool area was nice. Breakfast (included) was moderate. The room, loved the setup (separate seating and sleeping areas) Carpets had worn spots, snags and rips. Staff was very responsive to any requests and needs.

The La Quinta Inn and Suites West Memphis is located few miles from downtown Memphis. Guests will enjoy FREE WiFi, heated indoor pool, fitness center, sundry shop and FREE hot breakfast. Our rooms offer flat-screen TV, microwave, fridge, coffee maker.
Being such a new hotel we figured everything would go smoothly which for the most part it did. We only could hear every single sound from the room that connected to ours next door. Not sure why they build these with the doors between rooms anyway. We heard them making selections on their tv late into the night and then their iphone alarm going off all morning. The only breakfast item I liked was the sausage and everything else tasted below average. If the hotel would get better soundproof doors and improve their breakfast quality - this would actually be quite a nice hotel as everything was spotless and their employees were super friendly.
