Reviewed By 209jojoaGreat hotel beautiful surroundings but the lack of information needs to be addressed At check in was told by the receptionist timings for breakfast the restaurant ect but I'd forgotten about what she said by the time we made it to our room. Now as the wife of man who drives between London and Scotland at least once a week I'm told about his hotel experiences weekly this place is lacking so much. We wanted room service my husband has to leave our room go to reception and get a menu he came back with it but how do I order no information I eventually after pressing every number on the phone to try and order and getting dead tones had to leave our room go down stairs and make our it.. This time struggling to find out where the restaurant was no signage no information in the room as to where it was no information on what time it is open what time it closes nothing about breakfast again no timings nothing.. This place is in the most beautiful setting but it's in a place where after 10.30pm you can't find as much as a coffee they have no facilities except a few drinks for sale in reception.. Very disappointed we're still staying here now but made sure we stocked up on water soft drinks ect as this place has nothing we will not be back!!!

Reviewed By Rojorojo1Lovely apartment in centre of town. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent food in bar below. Parking was a bit of a nightmare as sat nav struggled to find it. Friendly and helpful check in from Christina, who speaks perfect English, even though we didn’t get there till gone 10pm! Would definitely stay here again. Gracias x

Reviewed By carla487We visited Mirador Hotel in Dec 2021. We've been before and liked it so thought we'd go again. Nice and clean, rooms ok just a bit dark. No air con, not that we needed it in December anyway but couldn't imagine it in August,there was a ceiling fan but that wasn't the best as it was a little noisy when on. The main concern for me and the other 3 members of my family was the food. Breakfast was the best but that was cold some days. Dinner was breakfast warmed up but assembled different and evening meal was the worst. Some warm and some cold but nothing went together. The food has really gone down hill since before. The tubs of ice cream were 2 months out of date and was reported but nothing done. Needless to say we won't be going back to that hotel.

Reviewed By MBSalcaTop and beatifull location with friendly and helpfull owners. Half an hour with car from Malaga airport, easy to find and good to start exploring Andalucia. Ronda is 45 minut away, Granada 1.5 hour, and also Gibraltar and Marbella. Everything top. Thnx.

Reviewed By Bond287The Mirador Infinito was exactly what we needed. The owners, a lovely Dutch couple, were so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast each morning was outstanding. The rooms very comfortable and the pool, patio, garden area were so relaxing. We cannot wait to return again.

Reviewed By Monchita_SanzThis is our second summer that we spend at El Roble Holidays and all we can say to Jean Mi and Frederic is “see you next year!” Such a pleasant experience to relax in their gardens and pool, to enjoy their delicious breakfast and relax in their gorgeous villa. The room is fully equipped and super clean (everyday cleaning) bed ultra confortable and amazing views. The hosts are always ready to help, recommend restaurants and give directions. They also have two other villas for a full family where you can spend a longer vacation with fully equipped kitchen, dinning area and a private jacuzzi. Totally in love with this place! Reviewed By PompeypersonGreat food and ambiance. The management and staff were very friendly. We had a pleasant stay. The restaurant environment and food are excellent. I would recommend it as a place for lunch or an evening meal. However, this is a rustic pension so the facilities in the room are basic. However, everything was clean and the beds we’re comfortable. The bar and restaurant opening hours are a bit limited on Sunday nights and Monday and Tuesday nights so that’s something to be aware of if your stay includes those nights.

Finca Sonrisa stands on a hill in the Alhaurin el Grande countryside, Andalucia. From the Finca you have a breath-taking view of the Guadalhorce Valley. Within the bounds of the Finca you will find three luxury apartments with private terraces and Casita Sonrisa, a commodious guest-house. It is built between olive trees and rocks, in a partially designed and for the greater part wild garden with swimming pool. The airport is at a 25 minutes distance.

This was a trip to surprise a relative on her birthday they were staying nearby but we have made a pact to return all to return to Finca Sonrisa. Thank you Joan for a very memorable stay.

Casa Luz del Sur is a completely renovated villa with five ensuite rooms which are spread over the throughout the garden. Guests can expect privacy and tranquillity due to the spacious design of the luxury rooms. Every morning we offer a breakfast buffet with local riches. The main house has a big living room which can be used by our guests at any time.

Reviewed By ChafanceWe booked a two night stay at Casa Luz Del Sur We were greeted by Pieter and shown around and to our room. There are only five rooms all individual. The room was perfect clean tidy and a lot of thought had gone into the rooms decoration. Towels for the bathroom and pool were all provided for. The is an honesty bay by the pool with a price list with you name and room on it. Great idea. There was so much space around the pool area with sun beds and lounge beds under cover all available. Breakfast was a continental buffet style with all kinds of dishes available and teas coffee and juice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this to anyone. Thanks to Pieter and Margot for a great place to stay.

Beautiful views and place
Reviewed By Birgitte Theres... HGreat place with great hosts. This is a very calm and remote finca with magnificent views and only four (or so) rooms. Perfect if you want a quiet place to relax as a couple. Breakfast was delicious, with choice of eggs, good selection of cheeses and ham as well as a new style fruit/yoghurt every day. The Dutch owners are really wonderful, helpful and social. We wanted to go for a short hike of a couple of hours without having to drive and Peer recommended a perfect route directly from the hotel. We also asked by email before arrival if they could prepare a snack for us for the first evening because we would arrive late in the evening. We were received with a delicious soup, bread and cheese and in the honesty bar you can get anything you want anytime of day - soft drinks, beers, wine or g&t’s. Good restaurants are a few kms away in Alhaurin, a taxi cost us 10 euro and Pieter arranged for us. Travel time is half an hour from Malaga airport. Thanks so much Pieter and Cristel. We’ll be back for sure.
