I have read through the previous reviews and I’m extremely confused by the positivity and high ratings for this hotel. Please read my below feedback if you’re coming to this hotel soon or thinking of booking. Rooms: Myself and my partner paid for a Double Deluxe Sea View Room. When we first turned up, this is not what we were given. We were given a room on the lower floor, in their car park as soon as you walk up from reception. Positives: The room seemed clean & fresh towels were provided. Negatives: This room did not have a sea view. There was no privacy on the balcony. The balcony consisted of grass, two tables and a chair. After 1/2 hours of being in the room, there was an overwhelming stench of sewer. Due to this, we complained as this is not the room we paid for. After several hours of walking around endlessly and waiting in reception (we couldn’t sit or sleep in the room as the smell was that bad) we were given a different room. We were given a room with a swim up pool and more private balcony. Positives: The room seemed clean, we had fresh towels, coffee machine and fridge. Our own private balcony and sun loungers. Sun was on this balcony all day. Negatives: The bed was extremely old, would make loud creeks with the slightest momevemt. Hard to get a decent sleep. With the rooms situation, myself and partner were extremely lucky to be moved. If we weren’t, we contemplated leaving as we could not have stayed there for a week. I’d say we’re lucky, due to the amount of people we spoke to who had several issues with their rooms (not being cleaned, finding mould, not what they paid for). It was also evident that the hotel had over booked. Many people were turning up and being sent away to a different hotel. In agreement with other reviews, it really is just pot luck with what room you get and they are not like the photos they have put on the website. Food: Positives: N/A Negatives: Food was very limited and the same pretty much for every meal. You had to also guess what you were putting on your plate as there was no labels (though I believe someone complained about this just before we left so may have been rectified). Feedback: Staff should have the same clothing, it was hard to tell who worked in the restaurant. Also, staff should not hover to try and pick up your plate as soon as your finished. Drinks: Positives: The soft drinks were fizzy and quite refreshing. There are water stations doted around the hotel. Negatives: The all inclusive alcoholic drinks did not taste of any alcohol, very watered down. Small selection of alcoholic drinks to pick. Pool: Positives: Cleaned and maintained. Negatives: You’d have to get down to the pool very early to reserve a spot. There are a lot of guests in the hotel and not many beds by the pool. Hotel: Positives: The views are extremely lovely and that’s the only thing that is good about this hotel. Negatives: There are a lot of steps, If you have mobility issues avoid booking. A lot of water patches, even though there were signs up to warn people, the water was always there and cannot be avoided, ended up slipping a few times. Staff: Positives: The staff we spoke to were very friendly and helped us sorting our issues out. Negatives: Its evident the hotel are under staffed. Due to the rooms not being cleaned every day and only one person behind the reception desk with sometimes 4/5 people in the queue. Outside the hotel: Shops: there are several supermarkets located near by, reasonably priced. They also had ATM machines. Beach: This was ok. A lot of stones and pebbles, wear shoes! Also construction work happening, which was loud. Restaurants: Many to pick from near the beach and all lovely and beautiful. Can guarantee after a few days eating at the hotel you’ll venture out that way. All reasonably priced too. Conclusion: If it was not for the room change, it would have been very hard to stay at this hotel for a week. The photos on the website are very misleading and the food/drink is not great. Due to the room change I’d give this hotel a 2*. The hotel has so much potential, but unfortunately lacking in many areas. We’re not a couple who normally complains but I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

I have stayed here a number of times over the years. As we haven't been due to serious illness I was really looking forward to seeing Katarina and the family again however everything was changed. The woman doing the cooking was not Katerina, but passed herself off as her but this woman's name was Kitty. The room was filthy. The towels and bedding not changed in an eight day stay. The food was appalling. I was quoted a price but on leaving I was forced to pay more by the woman who demanded more money just as our taxi to the airport was waiting. This was a lovely place when the owners and the son and daughter worked in it. But now.....

The SAINT GEORGE GARDEN is in the traditional Saint George of Pagi village on the north part of Corfu, in an idyllic peaceful beach location on the coast of Corfu. The hotel is a new built palace with modern and design touches in the middle of gardens, olive groves and wild vegetation. The hotel offers two swimming pools (a normal and one small for children).
I would like to higly recommend Nikos from main bar by the pools, he's very friendly and polite guy. Looks like he does this for a passion and it's not only way to get money. Hotel situated in quaiet area so if you wanna rest it is good pleace. No entertaiment by pool (animators for childs). In evenings greek dance, latino, but not every day. Dj only once a week. Food fresh and teasty but very repeatable. Beware of older guy (seems like menager) when we asked about more entertaiments at the reception he came to us and shouted that this is family hotel and won't be more entertaiments. (But we just ask). Anyway he keeps everything on eye even when you take second portion on lunch. Good pleace for older people. Not for young people.

We only stayed 1 night as we travelled through the area . This is a family run hotel with friendly staff . Our room was to the back of the hotel with a few over the fields hills. The room was clean , we had a really good night sleep but our only issue was with the bathroom. The shower cubicle was 1/2 the standard size and almost impossible to turn around in . However this hotel is in a lovely location , breakfast was excellent and had we be staying longer would have asked for a room move .

A small, family run villas set back off the road surrounded by a beautifully kept garden. If you are looking for something peaceful, romantic, in a natural setting and traditional then this is the place to stay. The Greek couple who run it are wonderful and have gone over and above to make the place special. It’s modest and not a glamorous hotel, but makes up from it in charm. The couple are very professional and supply everything you need in the room, even a complementary bottle of wine, and meet you on arrival and proudly show you to you room, telling you everything you need to know. The view from the rooms are beautiful, and whilst only the front of the room looks out to the sea, the back balcony has a view of the mountains, trees and flowers and it is just as beautiful as the sea view, and you can always take your chairs and using the small table they have supplied, sit out there. Its truly beautiful. Can’t recommend this enough!
