Reviewed By vvanhoorickThis place is a hidden Gem in Trang, it is a peaceful place with lovely atmosphere. The owner is just wonderful and very helpful. She can respond every question and can arrange transport to the nearby islands. The location is very convenient and lovely restaurants nearby.. Would recommend this place in Trang, it is zen and everything you need. Thank you Pear for the lovely stay.

Reviewed By junya_and_gangsLove the attention of the staffs here, so willing to help in all aspects. We stay for 3 nights, in 2 rooms setting type, the Private room and Duplex. They use the Roman Tiles as a wall as part of their construction, in a way you will hear the sound next to you so clearly. Location is about 2 km from the city center, they have quite limited space for parking.

Reviewed By definiti0nVIDEO review now on YouTube- search ‘Amelia Bolger’ for my channel Staff were helpful. They organised shared mini van and ferry tickets to Koh Mook. We were also able to rent a scooter which was delivered to the hostel for the day (see separate YouTube vlog on my channel for suggestions of things to do in Trang) Room was large but basic. Bathroom was disappointing, shower cubicle needed regrouting and wasn’t as clean as we would expect. Nice communal areas, basic facilities to make your own breakfast. Expect some noise at night as quite a few stray dogs outside in the street. Safe location, supermarket close by. Ok for a 1 night stopover

"A Local Something" is a hostel. We would like to make our guest feel like a 'friendstay' where you come to stay with your friend and enjoy local community. Our hostel is the ideal destination for backpacker and savvy traveler who enjoy the mixture of artist with something Local in the center of the city. The hostel’s 7 guestrooms including dorm rooms and private room overlooking Trang town on the balcony. Our dorm rooms are furnished with bunk beds, capsule beds and comfy with linens. Each bed comes with a private reading light, power socket and safety locker. Share bathrooms with hot shower, common areas, and free WIFI are provided for all guests. A perfect location adjacent to the famous night market near the train station, just at their doorstep. Please, let’s us be your Host.

Reviewed By Vera CA room with a bedroom and bathroom is small, but so nicely. A emazing view, balcony and retro & loft interior, shared kitchen and a good restaurant on the rooftop. Perfect please for an one or few nights.

Day 1 we ordered bananna bread with pineapple which was lovely and a DIY breakfast with bacon and beans ext but this was horrible so lesson is to stick with the local food and and not so. Something they are trying to copy. Day two bannana pancakes with cocolate sauce which were really really fab.. And bananna bread again but with fruit salad this time onlu the fruit sales never turned up. Day 3 fruit salad which was good and those bannana pancakes again

Reviewed By victorp516This is our 5th stop here, and no complaints from us. I note a review here from a lady from Seattle who's used to staying at Hilton's or Hyatt's or the Shangri-la. I too stay at those hotels on occasion and can certainly recommend the Shangri-la in Bangkok, but the Rimnatee isnt a 5* hotel, it's a budget hotel, and it needn't and shouldn't be judged by those standards. The Rimnatee is a charming and we'll designed hotel with parking alongside the spacious bungalow rooms. While it isn't far from a main road it is quiet and yes, you do require transportation to get into Trang, or to the restaurants. The rooms are a good size, clean and tidy. And the towels clean and well laundered. There is indeed a towel each, but if you need more you can ask. If you are staying more than a day then the towels are replaced each day. Our last stay was 4 days and this I recall.vAs for ants, we haven't come across any, but they are here. And if I do find them I don't blame the staff. They are ubiquitous. I recommend anyone, and certainly anyone with children to stay here. You won't regret it The staff are lovely, and helpful. I don't speak Thai. But I try, and they'll speak English easily. As for breakfast. I've had better, but it's sufficient: cereals, eggs and chicken sausages etc. Toast and fruit, coffee and tea. The swimming pool is great. There aren't too many budget hotels with pools so put that down as a plus We'll be back.

Reviewed By Damien LNous avons passé une nuit, en transit, Cet hôtel est de mon point de vue remarquable. Avec ses parquets dans les couloirs et les chambres, style colonial. Grande chambre avec grand lit confortable et clim silencieuse. Situé en centre ville à 200 mètres à pied de la gare. Petit déjeuner compris dans le prix de la chambre, environ 23€ le tout. Super plan pour une étape. Prévoir des bouchons d’oreille car la rue est bruyante. A TRANG ville, il n’y a rien à voir.
