Reviewed By RikeHa+ cool vibe, very industrial chic, hip place + everything still very freshly renovated & perfectly clean + inner courtyard has several restaurants and bars which I loved + neighborhood is lovely, a great mix of street art, shabby houses, trees… + breakfast: if you booked via Fabrika website you get a great coffee and a sweet pastry for free, I decided to have the big breakfast everyday which was great at the weekend (buffet and quite good filter coffee all you want) and during the week also nice with a selection list - due to bars/ restaurants/ street very noisy until at least 2am (everyday), so ear plugs are a must!! - beds are hard as the mattress is just lying on a board

The hostel generally has a really welcoming feel and it is very easy to hang out with other guests / staff in a relaxed environment (e.g. drinking by the fire, watching movies). The double room was very comfortable and the overall decorations and style of the house in the old part of town gives it a really cozy feel with great character. Breakfast was excellent and well worth the 9 GEL. Thank you for a superb stay in Tbilisi - would definitely return!

I found the “Gallery Hostel” to be my perfect fit. It was cozy, well located, had an excellent crowd and the manager really cared!

Very welcoming
Reviewed By Bharat AWe stayed in a twin bed private room booked through booking.com. The Hostel location is excellent. Most of the tourist spots in the old Tbilisi are at a walking distance. The lower station of train going to Funicular is just 1 block away. The hostel is on the third floor with no lift. The check-in process was smooth and staff was very cooperative and welcoming. The common seating area, Kitchen - dining area were neat and clean. There are two common bathrooms and at times you have to wait for your turn. Diwan provides value for money in terms of facilities and services.

Perfect place to stay in a perfect city
Reviewed By Adventurer708190I just came back from a wonderful 10 day trip to Tbilsi where i stayed in this wonderful, little, cute, traditional hostel very close to the city centre. It was a lovely , safe and secure haven for our adventure tour of Georgia and the best thing about it was the location and the very very very friendly owner . The owner , Alex who speaks wonderful English really made a great effort to welcome us into his home and help us out whenever we needed him. He even took us on our own first tour of Tblisi when we first arrived and also came to wish us well on our return to the airport . What a lovely guy! Thank you so much Alex for making us feel so welcome ! PS - Don't be put off by the name , it's not scary at all !!! ?

Reviewed By Stay785416- Very affordable, not fancy, clean and ok bathroom, ok bed. - only few minutes by taxi to Europe Square (pay no more than 5 lari for the taxi trip), or 25 minutes walking. - the hotel has a very good and friendly guide who can help you plan the rest of your trip in Georgia or Armenia, ask for Artur. He can also drive you during the trip and share with you his broad knowledge about almost everything.

Terrible shower, photos are misleading
Reviewed By craigdelaney310786The shower was absolutely terrible. Not only did it flood the room every time you used it, but it was intermittently ridiculously hot or ridiculously cold. The head didn’t work properly and dribbled water in some directions and sprayed it in others. The cleaner seemed to stand around smoking all day and didn’t clean our room at all during our stay. There is was no soap or toiletries in the room when we arrived, nor was there any toilet roll. The two young lads in the reception area sit around playing games on their phones all day. They couldn’t be bothered to make a coffee in one of the many cafetières behind them so charged me 14GEL for two Turkish coffees, an over the odds price for Tbilisi. The positives were the room was clean when we arrived, and they let us check in very early as our flight arrived in the morning.
