While many visitors come for the beaches, arts celebrations and fiestas, San Sebastian-Donostia is serious about its food and drink. The Old Quarter’s narrow, winding streets are full of bars and restaurants, and in the modern city, sidewalk cafes are all around. The city specializes in seafood. Just make sure you know not to expect dinner at 6 or 7 p.m.—that’s much too early in Spain. Instead, tide yourself over with tapas, and enjoy eating and drinking late into the night.

The location was excellent, close to the city center and the train station. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the reception staff is friendly and helpful. I had already read good reviews but it was more than I expected. I'll surely repeat.

We arrived into San Sebastian quite late at night by train and we were quietly surprised when our taxi dropped us off at this property that the reception was manned 24/7. The accomodation itself was compact but had everything we needed for a night. Loved that we could open the window and let in fresh air. Very quiet considering, apparently, it is student accomodation plus, so we did expect more noise. Very close to bars and tapas restaurants

This pension is in a great location, all places of interest are easily reached by foot or local transport. The rooms are very clean, quite small but have everything you need for a short, comfortable stay. The only downside was the noise from the room next door, we could hear everything, and I mean everything, that the couple next door were doing/saying at night and that wasn't pleasant ...there does not seem to be any noise insulation and for that reason only, we would not stay here again. Otherwise, all very good.

Koba Hostel is located in Gros disctrict, 200m far from La Zurriola beach, well known for it's good waves and great surfer ambience. We transformed an old abandoned car workshop, into a modern and quality Hostel, trying to respect the building front, protected as historical heritage, but giving it a warm atmosphere. With private and shared rooms, it is place for everyone, no matter the way you are travelling. All rooms have a bathroom and air conditioner. There are many services like a kitchen, dining hall, chill-out area, terrace... to make your stay greatest as possible. We also have a surfboards and bikes storage for those who are travelling full loaded. This hostel is leaded by travellers and adventurers, who have travelled worldwide and know well what you are looking for in San Sebastian.
Here at Koba nobody will care if 2 persons are having sex in the middle of the dorm. Repeatedly. It is just a shame. How is it possible to let that happen ? Who would sleep in these conditions ? And 8 people in a 15 m2 room ? What century is this ? Slumlord at its best. Sin verguenza. People there just don’t care. Coming in and out the bedroom during the night and switching the light on, talking and laughing outloud at 3 pm like it was normal. It is simply impossible to sleep in this place. It is the first time I’ve seen something like that. There is no family spirit or conviviality here. No big table to share dinners with other people or to enjoy a few drinks. Kitchen is nice tho. Good luck

Ametzagana, in other words, YOUR HOME, has the chance to be located in a bucolic environment of San Sebastian, right near the Lau Haizeta Natural Park, between Garbera and Martutene, only 4km away from La Concha. The guesthouse have 40 rooms, where 10 of them are High Class Rooms -recently refurbished- and 1 suite. There is also a big parking zone (free), tennis and pelota courts, a snack bar/cafeteria, and a beautiful restaurant where events such as weddings and baptisms as well as company meals take place. We will make you feel at home!
Looking for a cheap place and taking for granted: Noise from the highway during the whole night Terrible matrass Totally outdated Noise from the bar Noise from other guests Then go ahead and book this place They do have a restaurant and a bar where you can sit outside.

Not worth the money. Complete scam. Staff very unfriendly rude and unprofessional. Rooms terrible Much better options for the same price and same location around. Don’t stay here if you can avoid it!!!

We stayed here for 4 nights and the apartment was great; the room was very comfortable and spacious and very conveniently located only a few minutes walk from La Concha beach. I'd highly recommend this place to someone who wants to be centrally located near to both the old town and the main beach.
