This hostal is one of our favorites along the Camino De Santiago. The owner/operators are just the most pleasant and accommodating people you can meet. We have stayed here 4 times and will continue to do so as long as we can travel the Camino. It’s located very near the old bridge that crosses the Ega River which runs through the town. Estella is a nice medium sized town which has been hosting pilgrims for a thousand years! I think you will love your stay here. Cathy and David

Good stop on the Camino!

Reviewed By Patrick S

I spent two nights at the Aloha Hostel and I definitely recommend this place. Pamplona was where I would begin the Camino de Santiago and the Aloha Hostel was a great place to stay at before the hard work began. I stayed in a private room on the third floor. Room 6 in the 3A portion, which was clean and extremely spacious. I shared the bathroom with only 2 other rooms, which was great. There was a TV and an armoire to store my clothes. With three beds, I figure this one is often used as a family room. And for 36 euro a night, it was a bargain. There is a small kitchen and a common room, as well as an outside terrace where you can hang out. Wifi worked well throughout the hostel. It's only a short walk to the old town and everything you need is within walking distance. The staff was very nice and helpful. The free breakfast is basic, but it does the job. Definitely a comfortable and welcoming stop on the Camino!

Welcome Home in Pamplona

Reviewed By FairCityFrasie

This hostel is well above average among its type in terms of cleanliness and friendliness. It is right in the middle of the old town near the cathedral, small but with ideal facilities - very modern and clean wash, shower and toilet facilities - nice sleeping booths, each with own light and curtains - lockable lockers for each person. Best of all was the very friendly welcome and introduction to the hostel, its beds, facilities and access. Comes highly recommended whether for doing the camino or visiting old Pamplona-Iruna.

Me encantó, espero volver.

20220405 A nice hostel/hotel for price

Reviewed By 85elcam

The price is great for the private room I had with 2 twin beds. Bed, linens, towels, and shower well cleaned. Has lounge and microwave on 2nd floor. Kitchen currently closed. Front staff so helpful! Location? Great. 2 plazas with all kinds of shopping, markets, and restaurants. Hotel plaza is quiet with only a few kids in evening.

The perfect pilgrim hostel

Reviewed By Virginia G

I stayed here for 1 wk while recuperating from tendonitis on the Camino de Santiago. The staff were SO compassionate, helpful and supportive. There are perfect little touches that make a difference to Pilgrims: an outlet and little light at each bed; a privacy panel at the side of the head of each bed; free dry cereal, toast, juice, yogurt, tea for breakfast, and a free cappuccino machine! And there's an outdoor roof terrace! The cleaning team blitzes the place every morning. The showers have a protected place to keep your clothes dry. It is right in town, and right on the Camino. Highest recommendations. If I do the Camino again I will definitely stay here!

Bucolic Getaway

Reviewed By naddude

We accidentally stumbled onto this quiet village whilst surfing for hotels outside of Donesita-San Sebastian, much quieter, cheaper and well worth using as a base station while visiting the area. Clean rooms with a working heater (bonus!) Decent water pressure and a bath tub drain that actually works. There is a cafe on the main level to grab a cafe con leche or there are numerous cafe/bars within walking distance. We will definitely re-visit this hotel when we are in D-SS next year.
