Melbourne is proud of its neighborhood precincts, each offering a unique cultural experience. No other city in Australia has such clearly defined areas. This could be because Melbournians are both worldly in their outlook yet tribal in their local loyalties – as seen in the fanatical support for their local AFL football clubs. Here history is cared for and exemplified in the originality of diverse neighborhoods – each has a unique face but all of them will greet you with a smile.

We stayed here over Easter holiday. Location is the best with Flinders St Station right in front of it, Woolies and Coles within 3min walk, and restaurants and takeaway shops being everywhere nearby. Even for sightseeing, all the major spots are within walking distance. With the room and facility, we stayed in a family room consisting of 2 bunk beds and a king size bed. It was quite roomy and the ceiling is very high so you don't feel too congested. The building has a share kitchen and fridge and laundry. If you are staying here with your car, you can find a parking building or street car park. We didn't have issues to find a spot on street as it was Easter and the city was quiet Am definitely coming back here for my next visit in Melbourne!! * Photo is Flinders Station, a minute from the hotel!

The best point is location, if you need to go to Southern Cross early or late, it`s perfect, because it´s so close and the breakfast was good. First floor is good, good bar and kitchen, my room was third floor, just 3 shower and 3 toilets, there are few, because there are a lot of room, about bed was uncomfortable, cleanliness really bad. I just recommend this backpacker if you need to stay close to Southern Cross otherwise you look for another one.

Staff exhibited discriminatory behaviour toward me on new year's eve? when I tried explaining this they asked me to leave and said they are not refunding the hundreds of dollars I had already paid in good faith .(which is a Rip off) At 1030 pm at night I had no where to stay People don't get upset for no reason . DO NOT PAY A WEEK IN ADVANCE . YHA hostel is a better option by far I have stayed many times and always felt comfortable and welcome ?

Como Court, offers all the comforts and conveniences you would expect from an international budget hotel brand. Our Private rooms and Art Deco Apartments offer a more spacious floor plan and extra special amenities. Located in the heart of St Kilda, Como Court offers affordable self-contained apartments, hotel style rooms with private bathrooms and en-suite bathrooms as an upgrade option.
My daughter and her boyfriend had a lovely night out planned in St Kilda at the movies on the beach. (Live on outer edge of Melb) planning not to drink, then drive home after. On the way in they decided to book a room so they could relax and have a couple of drinks. Booked the room online all good. Said there was a security deposit (all good) although deposit didn’t come out when they made payment. Put down check in time as late 12.30 am. When they got there after a great night they were asked for security deposit, all good. They didn’t have enough money and weren’t allowed to pay by PayPal (even though room payment had gone through on PayPal no problems) they called me for credit card details but manager would not take details over the phone. So they paid for a room but had to sleep in the car out the front for a couple of hours before driving home. So I would say customer service was disgusting.

I could not image that there should be such kind of person in the world. Worst of worst in terms of manners. And that is definitely one of the worst hostels I ever lived here in Melbourne. If I could give a rate of 0, that would be my first choice! In a four-bed room, the rest of the three snored heavily all throughout the night. And this lasted for three nights in a row. The washroom is a place that I have to bend my will before I enter it. A towel left in my room on the floor for over a week without any staff coming to pick it, an indication that the room has not been cleaned nearly the same period of time.

Its in the city center. Staff are friendly. Room was clean. No internet in the room.it was quite noisy early in the morning (room 215) because of some constructions nearby and I can hear doors closing and opening from the other rooms the whole night.

I stayed in room 203 on the 7/04/2022 - 09/04/2022, the smell was unreal to the point I had to wear a mask, the floors are stained and dirty, but worse the bedding was not cleaned! It is not worth any money and I will never book again because I appreciate my health too much. If you don’t care about smell or your health book here… The toilets are vile with stains everywhere, nothing is modern and you can tell no money goes back into the upkeep of the building. Positives: The staff seemed friendly, which is upsetting as they live in that horrible place. The shower room was fine. You have to pay for internet in your room You pay for cutlery Pay to was/ dry clothing Who is this hostel food for? This hostel is good for junkies/ and homeless it is also good for someone who doesn’t care for their own mental health and physical hygiene!
