A small fishing village until the 20th century, Gdynia was rapidly built into Poland’s largest and busiest sea port after World War I. As a result, it’s mainly a very modern city. The most significant older attraction is the 13th-century St. Michael the Archangel Church. Two museum ships in the harbor, a destroyer and a frigate, are also popular with visitors. Gdynia has a thriving cultural life and in September hosts the annual Polish Film Festival, sometimes called the “Polish Cannes.”

Great place with friendly staff

Reviewed By TravellotkaZ noclegu w tym miejscu korzystałam raz, w sezonie letnim. Miałam pokój 1-osobowy - wyposażenie ok, łóżko, stolik, mała lodówka, telewizor, łazienka i wc wspólne na korytarzu. Widok z okna kiepski, ale akurat trafiłam na taką a nie inną stronę budynku. Pościel czysta. Mimo wszystko tak jakoś dla mnie mało przytulnie, ale być może się czepiam. Generalnie dobra miejscówka, blisko centrum, do dworca, na plażę. Wszędzie można dojść pieszo. Obok sklepy, w tym żabka, no i posterunek policji :) Fajny pomysł z połączeniem z klubokawiarnią - tutaj wystrój mi baardzo pasował :) Dobre jedzenie, muzyka na żywo, fajna obsługa. Cena za nocleg nie należy do najniższy, no ale w zamian mamy wszędzie blisko. Wystawiłabym mocną 4, ale nie mam takiej możliwości, więc daję b.dobry.

Comfortable, Clean and Low Cost+++
Reviewed By Wayne PFriendly Staff, Clean, the rooms are big and not cramped like some other Hostels, beds are comfortable. Huge Common room area with well equipped Big Communal Kitchen. The floor is slightly creakey, but it's a Hostel, not a Hotel and for 45zl (10€) per night it's an absolute bargain considering it's Central location. I would say if you are a regular Hostel stayer, you should be equipped with ear plugs! :) If you want to stay somewhere that's central, clean, convenient then I would recommend Smart Stay Hostel. It will be my choice if I'm ever in the area again.

Reviewed By Sam SŚwietny Hostel "M@rina" oferuje tanie wieloosobowe pokoje oraz bardziej prywatne dwuosobowe. Panie na portierni są bardzo miłe i pomocne, do dyspozycji jest podstawowa kuchnia (mikrofalówka, czajnik, talerze kubki, kawa, herbata) oraz łazienki i prysznice są bardzo czyste ogólnie bardzo schludnie, czysto i tanio. Podoba mi się :)

Reviewed By 994joannawZdecydowanie nie polecam tego hostelu. Zaczynając od samego wyglądu zewnętrznego, schody i nie przystosowany do pandemii hostel. Śniadanie wliczone a owszem ale ma się tokeny i idzie do knajpy w której to śniadanie mają podać. Nie ma na miejscu. Aneks kuchenny dla wszystkich tak, szybciej kamień na czajniku zobaczysz niż sam czajnik. Aneks brudny lepki i nie przyjemny. Pokój.. Brudne poplamione prześcieradło, zachnieta czekolada na ramie łóżka, brak ręcznikow (ja zdaje sobie sprawę że to hostel nie hotel) i w połowie zużyty papier toaletowy oraz śmierdzący prysznic z brudna zasłonka... Serio... Żeby tego było mało mieliśmy okno z którego można śmiało wyjść na dach... I słoik z petami obok. Żeby skontaktować się z recepcją musisz zarezerwować sobie 30 min swojego czasu bo Pan lubi sobie wyskoczyć na miasto.

SHIRE Gdynia is a perfect location and an attractive price. one apartment (two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom) and fourteen rooms: 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-bed. They are located in three- and four-room apartments on the second, third and fourth floor in a house at ul. Swietojanska 37. The rooms have access to Wi-Fi. The bathroom is located in the corridor. You're welcome!

Reviewed By pawel_hbgWe have booked a room with nice view and balcony. Bathroom was shared but it was clean everwhere. Price was attractive. This accommodation is located in the heart of Gdynia. There are many interesting restaurants near.

Reviewed By 254maciekpThe room was clean and spacious. As described and showed on the pictures. Good location, loads of bars and shops just around the corner. The check-in was hassle-free even at 3 am in the morning. I would stay there again!
