It‘s a fairly new hotel and part of Marriott Bonvoy. I enjoyed to stay there a lot, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is nice and with various options. The pool has a nice size, however lacking a view. Talking about view, some rooms have nice sea view. Others have pool view but you also see the green landscape which is nice too. The rooms are pretty big, kind of small TV though, but they feel very comfortable and the bed is great too. Also USB and an international power plug at the night stand, which still a lot of other hotels don‘t have. Rooms are cleaned very well. The gym is very basic, only machines for cardio and a few weights. Ate dinner at the restaurant several times and always got good food. There is an area called Slipway just 5 walking minutes away, that also provides great food options and a bit of nightlife.

Just a few minutes from the airport yet quiet and calm, allowing for a great nights sleep. The Triniti was a great choice and the food and staff were both lovely. The rooms are above basic and very clean. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Dar

In 2014, the Slow Leopard was opened as a little sports bar dishing up a couple of different burgers. By 2017 it has become one of Dar es Salaam premiere bars and definitely the number one spot for burgers! Late in 2016 we opened the upstairs guesthouse with a double room as well as a 6 bed dormitory available for travelers looking for a place to crash at a reasonable budget. Supremely located in the leafy suburb of Masaki, the Slow Leopard Dar is just minutes away from shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. From Masaki, it is a short trip to the city, the ferry to Zanzibar or even the islands of Bongoyo or Mbuya. Our bar downstairs is a favourite local spot, dishing up our famous burgers and cold drinks with plenty of live sport available. So whatever your reason for being in Dar es Salaam, whether it be work, travel or catching up with friends, you can count on a clean and comfy bed in an air conditioned room and a cold drink at The Slow Leopard.
We had a great time at the slow leopard, it was lovely and comfortable. We were in the dorm room which was spacious and safe! The staff were very friendly! The food was so good and very affordable. We will definitely go back when staying in Dar Es Salaam.

Guys I cannot recommend Teddys Home enough and here's why: THE PLACE We loved the location of Teddys Home. It's a little outside of the city centre which means you dont have the hustle and bustle and yet you're still super close and can get to central transportation hubs in no time at all. We woke up the first morning after having arrived verrrrry late and couldnt believe we were in Dar, looking out into the peaceful very green scenery from their porch (including monkeys playing in the trees in the garden). For us it was perfect to be somewhere quieter as we had time to recover and adjust while still being close to everything we needed. THE ROOM OK so our bed was huuuuuuge and super comfortable and had mosquito nests. Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed including an ensuite. THE FOOD The food we had at Teddys was some of the best we had on our entire trip. They grow vegetables in their garden which they use in preparing the dinners so the food is incredibly tasty and super fresh. We are still talking about their food weeks later! THE PEOPLE OK so this should actually be the first point. The main reason we loved staying here is because Teddy and Kenny who run the place are just the most awesome human beings. Not only are they super funny and smart people who are amazing dinner companions but they also went out of their way to help us. On our first day Kenny spent a number of hours helping us get sim cards and necessities and everything we needed for our trip the next day. As first timers to Tanzania we definitely would have been overwhelmed trying to organize everything ourselves. He even put us on the bus the next day himself. Every single thing we needed Teddy and Kenny helped us with and we arr so immensely grateful for everything they did! We learned so much from them and their friends and it was such an amazing thing to be able to learn about Tanzania from them and hear their stories and just get to know them. It's no exaggeration to say it really felt like a home away from home. We drank wine one night, watched a movie another night and just loved chatting to them. In fact we were supposed to.only stay one night but came back 2 more times during our trip. I hope everyone will stay here especially travellers who dont want to stay locked up in a hotel room and would rather meet awesome people and stay in a beautiful place.

Downtown Dar, good area. It is a hostel, so do not expect too many frills, but it is clean, with efficient mosquito nets and almost continuous warm water. Good sleep, reasonable breakfast. Somewhat overpriced.

JJ&JE Family House is a bed in dorm homestay located at Kipawa near Loveness Primary School. It is about 3km from J.K.Nyerere International Airport. At JJ&JE we have the following type of rooms.6 & 4 beds dorm and one bed room .All dorms are charged per bed and for a room we charge per room or number of people.Brekfast lunch and dinner are served at an extra cost.Tour&travel services can be arranged
This family run guest house has multiple rooms in separate buildings, including the one they live in. We were allowed to park in the paved area and cook our own meal but dinner can be bought as well. Showers are cold but bathroom is clean. The owner and his family are incredibly friendly and came and visited with us as we made our dinner. The entire compound is locked so very secure which was good peace of mind in a busy city. Only complaint is that Google Maps took us to the back of the compound and we would not have known anything was there if a neighbor has not told us.
palm village we provide day accommodation services and onwards. We provide day care for the entire house from two to four rooms. we have a bed and breakfast service(B&B), very close to getting other services in our building.
