The original Cadiz hostel, Casa Caracol is a chilled & relaxed place. We are located in the heart of the Cadiz old town less than a 5 minute stroll from the beaches & the train/bus station. Looking for a rooftop terrace with hammocks & a cool outdoor shower – rock up to Casa Caracol!! Free fast WIFI everywhere. What else we got? • Surfing in El Palmar • Sandboarding in Bolonia • Cheap home cooked meals every night • Cheap bike rentals • Great home cinema
We stayed at the Casa Caracol for a week while looking for something permanent (we need to work here for a few months). The people working there are really great and love to recommend you all the go-to places in Cadiz! Whatever you need, they know a place. There is a breakfast each morning together with all the other guests, which is a great opportunity to get to know each other and make plans for the day! Also, there are a lot of things organized by the Casa Caracol for the guest (such as yoga mornings, dinner at Caracol, surf lessons or nights going out clubbing (: The hostel also has a great rooftop terrace to chill with the other guests while enjoying the sun on your skin! Overall, we are very happy to have stayed here and would recommend Casa Caracol to anyone who wants to go visit Cádiz and meet new people!

So, being the snobby gits we are we would never look at a, 2 star, establishment. So, what happened? We got drawn in for whatever reason and it was bloody, bloody fabulous. We could go around and "Nit Pick" but it would just make us look a stupid as the couple we watched nit picking. The welcome, spot on. The room in its entirety, spot on . The people. Warm, welcoming and very, very helpful. A, 2Star place yes, with 4Star service. Thank you.

Just spent two nights at this super little hotel in the heart of the old town of Jerez. Clean, stylish, comfortable, reasonably priced and pleasant, friendly staff. Comfortable seating on the roof terrace and in addition a super little pool on the ground floor, which is very welcome after walking through the city on a hot day! The hotel has a lovely feel to it, possibly because it has a limited number of rooms. It almost feels like a secret hideaway! We will definitely be back.

Good food, they were so kind! We like it very much. Not expensive. We were four, ate meat, drunk two beers, two Cokes and 4 bottles of water and paied 54 euro. They offered an entrie, and did not include it in the bill. Had two coffies. The place is clean and confortable. I'll go back again.

Maria.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early Sept. Los Canos is a one street kind of place - so we drove down the street and came across the Hostal Miramar by chance. What a lovely place - the staff are so friendly and helpful, even putting up with our pigeon Spanish. We paid 60 euro p/n for room with a balcony. There wasnt a view but we had somewhere to sit out if we wanted, and hang our towels!! Fairly spacious room, and clean. Breakfast was good. And the hostal is just over the road from the beach. It gets quite windy, so we borrowed chair / parasol from the hostal. We also spent some time at the pool, which is small but in a lovely garden area. Its also close enough to Vejer de la Frontera to go for the night, if you dont find what you're looking for in Los Canos. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We were a family group of nine. We visited on a Sunday morning for breakfast. We have visited this establishment on many occasions over many years but don't think we will be doing so again unless things drastically improve. The service was a total farce. It took around 50 minutes for all of our group to receive our breakfasts. We had only ordered toast and drinks. The place didn't have many customers in at the time and I wouldn't want to visit if they were busy. They kept bringing wrong orders out. Other tables who arrived after us got served before us. When we complained the staff weren't interested. At one point a plate of toast and ham was put in front of me saying that's what I had ordered. I certainly had not as I'm vegetarian. We were quite amazed when the bill came as it was the only thing they managed to get right. It turned into a very stressful experience.
