The region of Campania curves around the bays of Naples and Sorrento, with towering Vesuvius and mountain ranges and massifs looming above. Ancient classical ruins are scattered throughout the region, from the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum to the Greek temples in Paestum. Popular resort towns include charming Sorrento and Amalfi, upscale Positano and haven for the elite, Ravello. For even more memorable sights, catch a ferry from Sorrento or Naples to the isle of Capri, home of the magical Blue Grotto.

Naples experience hostel is a backpacker's paradise. My name is Alessandro and with my family we offer cheap dormitory accommodation and experiences to get you to know Naples better. I'll send you a welcome message after your booking with directions on how to get to the hostel. Once at the reception I'll explain the map of Naples and ask mom to make you an espresso if you wish, My father is a driver and every day we organize sightseeing tours in Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento. Upon returning, mom will cook a typical Neapolitan pasta dish. We will eat on the terrace, so we can have a nice cool drink at our bar and meet people from all over the world. But at 11pm we close the patio, because many guests go to the airport the next day and need to sleep. But surely you will want to go out, so my brother Francesco will organize a Pub Crawl with all the guests to discover the nightlife of Naples. There is always something to do. The Naples experience Hostel will be your second home. Enter as a guest, leave as a friend. You will never forget us. In fact, very soon ... You will be back.
Had a very pleasant stay here in April 2022, the staff were all amazing and super helpful. Room was clean and the services were sufficient/what you would expect from a hostel. Location is a bit quiet, good for sleeping but a bit of a walk into the centre of town.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Way up on the hill, our veranda overlooking the beautiful city. Breathtaking views. Watching the boats going and coming from Island of Capri. Excellent weather. Having coffee on veranda at dusk was so relaxing. We were very happy here. Only downside was distance from the town and taxis are very expensive. The views and peacefulness made up for it though. There is a bus every half hour or so and when you get used to that it's way cheaper than taxis. Please make a toaster available in the dining room! I missed my toast in the morning. We will be back to Sorrento again. Loved it there.

The hostel is an oasis In the Napoli region. All other hostels are either crowded or in dangerous place of the city. This hostel is near Napoli, near Sorrento, near Pompeii and in Ercolano, who has amazing excavations and a huge vintage market worth visiting. Also has a beach close the hostel. The people at the hostel are always trying to help you and very warm. Also a lot of travellers visit it so you never get tired of meeting new people.

1. Not clean rooms. 2. The host is a big promiser (agreed on having breakfast at 8.00 as a result no breakfast and no host). 3. Vending machine with water doesnt work. 4. No host available at the reception in case of questions. 5. The host has just given me a linen, didnt bothered to make a bed by himself. 6. Other guests are allowed to store their messy belongings at spare beds. Looks untidy. 7. The key wasnt given to me during check in.

This is not an easy place to find being in a small side street which in turn is off another small side street. When you approach, you get reminded of the opening sequence of HMP Slade at the start of the BBC sitcom "Porridge" with the big iron gate! It isn't until you actually get to the gate do you actually see the sign on one of the pillars advertising the hotel! The building in which it is housed has very obviously seen better days, but once in the hotel, it is quite modern. The rooms are functional and quite comfortable, but a couple of things are curious: Why was there aircon in the small sitting room, but not in the bedroom where it was needed? Why do most of the electrical sockets not accommodate standard Italian adaptors? Why can you only have 2 x breakfast items? Breakfast arrived 15 x late, by the way! Why wasn't there a safe? Staff were very friendly and I don't think you could fault them. Whole experience was ok for what it was, but average at best.

We only stayed here two nights - but we were so welcomed by Giovanni who made it feel like our home in that short time. He is a hilarious host, ‘master chef’ and the best teacher about the incredible city of Naples - he will give you a brilliant intro to the city history, geography, etc and gives best places to visit and the best things to see. This hostel is filled with great people and great food, thank you so much for having us giovanni! Nile and ‘Carlotta’ ??
