Nos encontramos a una cuadra de laguna Esmeralda , espacio turístico por excelencia de la ciudad donde puedes disfrutar la armonía de la naturaleza y actividad al aire libre . Fuera de la residencia encontrarás un pequeño parque donde puedes caminar y realizar ejercicios , el sector es tranquilo , sin sobresaltos . Puedes ir al centro de la ciudad caminando , a solo 4 calles encontrarás el Mall , Casino de juego y el principal eje de comercio , olvídate de la congestión.

Not a hostel
Reviewed By DasSchweigenWe got there walking, no trouble for us, but it's far away from downtown. No attractions on a walking distance from the so called hostel. Once we entered the hostel we went to the second floor and waited for the check-in, one of the employees approached to us to check us in... with a notebook in her hands... which was the check-in record they had, I was stunned they did not had a front desk or a proper reception at all, because at that moment I still thought it was a hostel. The check-in was made in the kitchen.We got a room for couples and once we entered the room I noticed it had mold on the ceiling, the cortains were very thin, the hallway was narrow as it can get and the whole place vibe was weird. Breakfast is not a breakfast, they give you bread and some other things the afternoon - night before so you can have them in the morning. After some minutes we decided to cancel our stay there and asked the employee if we could get a refund which was granted to us with the totality of the amount payed (cash). They charge good hostel price, but they are not a hostel whatsoever. Not recommended at all.

Reviewed By Amy HWe were very satisfied with the attentiveness of the hosts at Rupa Pum. We stayed an extra two nights more than originally planned when we had problems with our car. They organized a spare part to be transported from Santiago to Tirua and the local mechanic was able to repair our car. They were extremely helpful in every way. The food was excellent, breakfasts included fresh rasberry, blueberry, pear, grape, or peach juice every morning. Dinners were home cooked slow food with a Mapuchan touch, the vegetables were home grown. There is a sauna and hot tub with a gorgeous view of the Pacific from above. The lodging was new, simple, and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Reviewed By mabellm2014Muy acogedor, dormitorios muy temperados, los dueños y trabajadores muy amables también. Estuvimos casi solos los primeros días, así que los espacios comunes eran todos para nosotros, pero en general estaba todo muy limpio y ordenado, los desayunos muy ricos!! y en la noche prenden la chimenea que es impagable, fuimos con un niño de 2 años y amo el entorno, un pequeño rio y mucho espacio para caminar.

Cabaña perfecta
Reviewed By Simón CNos quedamos 2 noches en la cabaña para 8 personas. Muy cálida y bien equipada y con bonitos detalles de diseño. El desayuno excelente. La disposición de los dueños increíble. El entorno muy lindo y ordenado, el hostal lleno de detalles bonitos. La ubicación muy buena. Totalmente recomendable.

Un buen lugar de descanso
Reviewed By Sandra OEste hostal se encuentra muy bien ubicado, cercano a la plaza y a la playa del pueblo. Las habitaciones cuentan con muy buen manejo de la higiene y limpieza. El desayuno podría ser mejor tomando en cuenta el valor por noche. Quiero destacar en especial la excelente atención de su recepcista Jorge, muy amable en su trato y siempre con disposición a ayudar a los pasajeros, nuestros agradecimientos para él.

Cute place with central location
Reviewed By Maeve RWe found this place after our other lodging accomodation fell through. We had been staying in hostels so the price was a little much for us, but it was very reasonable for all that we got. The room was clean and had a balcony with a bench overlooking the city center. It was close to the plaza and the supermarket. There was air conditioning and free breakfast. It was totally worth the money, and a much better value than you'd get for the same price in the US. We loved our night there!
