Built just to the east of the spectacular ruins of the capital of the Ayutthaya kingdom, a Siamese power destroyed by Burmese invasion in the 18th century, Ayutthaya is a modern Thai city studded with archeological wonders. Headless Buddhas and crumbling but still-beautiful reliquary towers and wats give evidence of the majesty of the civilization that was once centered here.

Stockhome Hostel is a budget accommodation for travellers located in the heart of Ayutthaya. Near Historical Park , Night Market , and 1 mins walk from Bus and Mini van station.
The hostel was very nice that the room was clean and big enough, and the bathroom was also good. The location is convenient which close to most of temple sites and the ferry to back to the station both walkable. There is a cat or cats. I have allergic to cats and did not feel very comfortable in the lobby area. Overall, with the price we paid, it was excellent choice.

Most Cosy Bed in Town, Exotic Thai Food and Caring hospitality and Warm welcome
Our family of four stayed overnight at a room here, on a weekend visit to Ayutthaya. The accomodation, while simple, surpassed our every expectation and quite honestly provided us with a charming experience. The room is clean and cozy; the rest of the spaces homey; the breakfast nicely prepared and delicious; the front-facing attendant and the back-stage owner caring, meticulous and warm. The location is ideal, steps away from a number of the prime historic site and from some of the best cafés and eateries in town. Perfect accommodation if you are looking for charmingly arranged basics.

We stayed for two nights at Muster House and would definitely recommend them! We had a room with a shared bathroom which was very clean. Breakfast of eggs, toast, and fruit was included and they also have filtered water so we didn't have to buy bottled. The family operating the house are very friendly and helpful. The location was near the night market but on a pretty quiet street and we didn't hear any noise when sleeping.

Booked on booking.com at 600 Baht a night. Check in with smooth I was allowed early check-in which I appreciated. The room was very large quite sparsely populated with Furniture but everything you would need a desk for writing comfortable bed bedside table. The air conditioning and the internet were fine flat screen TV with no U.S channels. They have hot chocolate tea and coffee free for the guests staying there. One downside a lot of children in and around the complex very noisy until later in the evening.

Early Bird Hostel is the ideal place for exploring Ayutthaya historical park, located in the heart of City Island. From here our guests can walk to most of ancient temples such as “Wat Maha That” and “Wat Ratchaburana”, night market, minivan/bus to Bangkok and boat trip pier in just a few minutes. There is also a 24hr convenience store nearby. Early Bird Hostel is a friendly property offering relaxed atmosphere and peaceful. It has a great common terrace to chill out. There are 2 functional bunk bed rooms with air-conditioned. Both rooms will share bathrooms down the hall. For security, there is a key card system and CCTV all over the hostel. Our Free Services: - Continental breakfast, served from 8 am to 10 am. - Wi-Fi in all areas - Personal Locker - City Maps - Water Heater - Hair Dryer - Key Card System and CCTV - Parking Stuff Available for a Small Charge: - Bicycle for Rent - Refreshing beverages - International/Local call - Photocopier - Ticket for Public Transport - Ticket for Boat Trip
I stayed here two nights, there are two rooms 3 bunks/5 bunks. The bunks have very comfortable matress's and curtains around for privacy. There are 2 toilets and 2 showers, which worked well with the number of guests, I never queued once. On checking in I got shown a map pointing out the hot spots. The breakfast is buffet (cornflakes/bread/toast/banana/tea/coffee). The hostel has bikes to rent out front 50 THB per 24 hours (lots of places rent bikes by the day). The communal space outside is nice. 7 eleven over the road and within easy walking distance of the main historical park. A couple of blocks to the east is a top with about 6/7 bars/restaurants on it. The only thing that I would consider wrong with this place is the breakfast is a 8am which is the time the temples open, so if you take breakfast you will get to the temples approx. 9am. Early in the day it is cool, midday there is 3/4 hours of really hot sun. I would recommend staying at this hostel.

(+) : fairly clean, Chris and Sis very kind, helpful, location is quite good, but definitely need a bicycle. (-) : social area has no AC, kitchen very small, all services are overpriced (laundry, bicycle rent, programs). Light isolation in ladies dorm really bad, can only sleep with mask. You have to climb to 4th floor.. I booked bus ticket with Chris, the owner, which he promised as a VIP bus, food, drink included for 520 thb. I googled, the bus fare was 310 thb, but Impossible to book online. Finally I booked through the hostel. He dropped me at the highway bus station and somehow I felt, not only out of favour. He gave me the bus ticket in the last moment, where I could clearly see the price 338 thb. So I paid almost 200 thb for agency fee and private transport. Arriving the day before from the highway I knew the songtheaw is 10 thb, same distance. I felt really bad, as paid the amount of one more night of accomodation.. Other than this, the bus was the normal government (sh*tty) one, where we were given a water and a muffin. I asked for front seat, as I know there is plenty of space there in the VIP buses... Unlike this bus, where there is the door, so not enough room for my legs for the 6 hr ride... A local should know this... This is what I call tourist scam... Chris, you should stop this practice and be transparent with your customers! Oh, I almost forgot: when I tried to check in, he showed me the house rules: age limit between 18-33... W*f??!? This is rude and discriminating. He said no problem, I can stay (most probably I passed face control..), but I have to cancel my booking. I asked him to cancel it from his side, but he refused and insisted me cancelling it, waiving for no penalty... Other that I met nice people (which is not the effort of the place) I regret having stayed here because of being scammed and not being respected..

Fun Dee Hostel and Cafe Ayutthaya is located near by many attractive places of Ayutthaya, not far from Wat Mahathat, Wat Rachaburana, Wat Phra Ram etc. Easy to find something to eat as we are closed to Street food night market. We have the cleanliness rooms with friendly atmosphere, cozy common area to rest and get to know new friends!, and also small cafe down stair for freshly brew coffee!
We spent one night here while we were exploring the temples around Ayutthaya. Very friendly staff, fairly clean hostel and good location. The cafe serves good coffee, smoothies and more. You can also rent a bike here which is perfect for getting around.

Featuring free WiFi and a garden, 1301Hostels Ayutthaya offers accommodation in the historic city of Ayutthaya. Dormitory-style rooms have air conditioning and a balcony. Guests have access to a shared bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. Situated by the river, the building also has a shared lounge and free parking. 1301Hostels Ayutthaya is 1.2 km from the Ayutthaya Historical Park.
I liked only two things about this place - it's location (that's actually not far from the places I wanted to visit) and also the garden next to the river. Of course there are mosquitoes in the evening, but it's quite nice for the morning and day time. That's all good what I could say about the place. I usually don't complain for the places I stay as I travel on a budget and choose among the cheapest options available. But this time... let me just comment other people's rewiews. I agree that the staff was not friendly with me, they didn't really care about my luggage before and after checking out. There really are dogs right opposite the hostel (they love on the ruins next to the road) and it can be quite scary at night. I really didn't have hot water during my stay. I wouldn't stay there again overall. In February 2020 the hostel was still operated by the people who don't really care about being hospitable. And it wasn't that cheap by the way.
