Zostel Pushkar is the town's coolest backpacker hostel where you can chill in our pool, watch sunset from our cafe & gang up with others to explore Pushkar A city in Rajasthan with its own charm, Pushkar offers a unique chance to every traveller to visit the world’s only temple of the Hindu Lord Brahma. The holy city, filled with a plethora of temples, has a lot more to offer though. The religious and mystic allure of the town is broken by the modern cafes all around the little town. And ofcourse, there is the legendary Pushkar Fair, which is held every year in the month of November. During the fair, the town is buzzing with photographers and cultural enthusiasts from all over the world - a spectacle like no other! The chilled vibes oozing from the city resonates perfectly with Zostel Pushkar- the only hostel in India with a swimming pool! Located close to the lake around which Pushkar is built, Zostel manages to stay away from the hustle and offers a peaceful and relaxing stay.
Zostel Pushkar is undoubtedly the best property that offers you best hospitality and breathtaking views. I specially thank Suraj bhai, the property manager for being such an amazing sweet host & for making sure we have the best experience.

Drenched In The Rain Of Resplendence, Is This Town In Central Rajasthan. Pushkar, The Traveler’s Heaven, Is A Town Known For Its Hippy Culture And Laid Back Vibes Matched With Scenic Surrealism.
Making Memories Alone Solo traveling is not new in today’s time.. It is soul’s most satisfying experience . I have travelled earlier with strangers but in a group.. But this time I wanted to ditch the luxury and wanted to go wander all alone.. After an year long of being home due to pandemic, many started loosing and lots of mental health issues surfaced, it happened with me too..my anxiety aggravated and I had bad days, so I decided I have to move out without strings attached and just be myself in some place I have never been to. A friend casually suggested Pushkar, and it stuck in my mind that I have to explore this place. I was also tired of cold weather so thought this place will be great as by the time i planned to travel the weather changed there. It was not much cold there.. I wanted to forgo luxury travel and put myself to test, that if I could manage at all or no. So I decided to take over night bus for traveling and booked myself in a hostel instead of hotel. When I was growing I always had this liking towards hostels but never got a chance to stay at one. Now with changing pattern , lot of hostel chains have come up to help backpackers and budget travelers. As it was my first time so I picked a separate room for myself rather then a dorm stay, I was skeptical until I reached and checked myself in.. The room was very crisp and best part was it was super clean, since I have hygiene issues so I was happy and comfortable after seeing the room. I picked this hostel after doing lot of internet research. The vibes of Moustache hostel were warm and staff was very welcoming and friendly The walls are painted with so many beautiful art pieces. The fika cafe was the highlight of the hostel. Here not only you get to relax , but the food , the simple decor and company of solo travelers make your experience beautiful and memorable .. The girl Who is taking care of the cafe is one crazy chick and I love crazy people.. The love she showers, the smile she carries all make your time here worthy by all means.. My first evening at the fika cafe gave me three amazing friends, who were also traveling to pushkar for the first time.. We all became a group together and explored the city together. This is how strangers become friends. All coming from different parts of country and with very distinct personalities. But we had so much fun together that it will remain as one of the most beautiful memories for me for lifetime.. The city offers lot of italian and Indian food from all across the globe. So many beautiful cafes to explore. My favorite is la pizzeria. In this little time I explored variety of food, be it the pastas, pizzas, kachori, falafal and lot more.. There are 52 ghats which cover the entire pushkar lake, where arti, prayers are offered. Each ghat has a different name and specific kind of prayers are offered there. Took a walk covering the entire lake gave glimpse of all the ghats. Priests offering prayers for people and taking holy bath in the lake.. Pushkar has the only Brahma temple in India. It is a big temple and lot of devotees come to seek blessings and offer prayers. Photography is not allowed inside. Then , there is a temple of Savitri , one of the wives of brahma ji. The temple is on a mountain peak, I climbed 966 stairs to reach the temple. Here we have an option of cable care to reach there too. Behind the temple you can see the beautiful sunset form the mountain top. Sitting there and watching sunset was an experience in itself. The Gayatri temple on the namr of another wife of Brahma ji, is also on a mountain top but it’s not that high and trekking to that temple is easy. You get the view of entire pushkar city from there. Thanking my stars that pushkar is not far from Ajmer and I got a chance to visit Ajmer shareef dargah. The dargah was flooded with people praying for the well-being of the near dear ones. I was calm inside when I visited the dargah. The presence of good powers could be felt there. The drive to Ajmer was a nice mountain trail and weather was very good The gurudwara in pushkar is also beautifully done and is a big one The narrow lanes have local market running on both the sides. Selling all kinds of stuff from clothes to artificial jewelry to bags and lot more. A warm city welcoming travelers from all over the world .. चल गुम हो जाएँ इन गलियों में जी लें ये दिन भूल के सारी फ़िक्रें #wickedBhavi Love life…. Hugs and kisses.

We stayed here for one night. Hotel is good but rooms were not clean. The bedsheet was not changed. It was very dirty. Hair had fallen on the bedsheet. The quilt cover was also very dirty. The hotel is good, but they should pay little attention to the amenities.

A quiet hotel located a short walk from the busy marketplace. Easygoing, staffed by the friendly Trilok and his Father Poonama, a retired postmaster. The floors are all white marble, with a cypress-lined haveli. Please enjoy yourself! Hotel Keshav Palace is also near the Pushkar Lake close to the market and a 5 minute walk from Marwar bus station. All the rooms are around a small green garden. One can relax and eat on the terrace with a rooftop restaurant. A place where you can see the best and have a good rest.
This is a great Guest House in a lovely quiet location, yet only a 10 minute walk from the main bazaar. My room was spacious, comfortable & had a good en-suite shower. The man who runs this place is delightful. Nothing is too much trouble. Excellent value for money!

Pushkar Cooking Art and Home Stay has three authentic rooms with varying budget, open balcony and a self cooking kitchen with all the amenities. Owners Ashok is an internationally acclaimed Camel Decorator, Textile Collector and Exhibitor while Shivani runs Rajasthani Cooking Lessons and ranked as top attraction on Trip Advisor.
Located just outside the main market area of Pushkar, near the gurudwara, this home stay is ideal for people wanting to explore all parts of Pushkar. While it is located about 10 minutes walk to the main market area and about 15 min to the Bramha Temple, it is both quiet and otherwise easily accessible. All rooms are located on the first floor. Shivaniji is an ideal host and was in touch with us even before we arrived. She was kind enough to allow us early check-in as we had reached much earlier than the check-in time. Infact she even gave us an upgrade. The rooms are warm, cosy and impeccably clean with decent sized bathrooms. Toiletries and clean towels were provided. And yes, Wifi was good. She guided us on various aspects of Pushkar. There were no restrictions about timings to come and go and the entrance for guests is separate. The morning breakfast was fantastic and chatting with her and her husband , Ashokji, was like family. I would definitely recommend this place for those ready to explore Pushkar on foot.

The Hosteller Pushkar is located a stone’s throw away from the beautiful Pushkar lake, Holika Chowk, and the famous Brahma temple. It is the ideal place to relax, think, and connect. We provide quality budget accommodation and believe in keeping the backpacker vibe alive all the time. The Hosteller only makes those promises that can be delivered and we are transparent in our processes. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, free Wi-Fi are the obvious services that the hostel offers. Besides these, there is a fully equipped community kitchen, common room with a huge projected screen, a PlayStation with insane games, mini-library for some sound reading, and paid laundry. Don’t be afraid to come up and ask for help whenever needed! Whether you are here for a day or two or more, The Hosteller makes sure YOU don’t miss anything. Our best picks from all the to-do lists in Pushkar are: explore the temple, hike up Ratnagiri, pay a visit to Aloo baba, enjoy the craziest Holi, and the biggest cattle fair in all of India.
I went there on Holi 2022 with a plan for one month workation but I couldn't, few reasons: 1. No AC between 10am to 8pm and it's Rajasthan ,very hot. 2. No quiet and covered workspace, they expect you to work from lobby outside the room which is exposed to sun 3. Bad network in rooms, the WiFi works only in the outdoor garden 4. The caretakers at property aren't very nice people. They allowed a bunch of people( guys and girls) in the property for Holi but when my female friend came in to meet me day after Holi, they were very rude to her. And I understand and acknowledge outside guests cannot enter the room, which she immediately left as he asked but the way he spoke is definitely not appreciated and something he should be provided training on. 5. No food. You will need to make arrangements from outside. All in all the only good thing about it is the open garden in the night/pleasant weather days and accessibility to the market. It's quite literally on the main market lane. Considering a brand name for hostel which is like a go-to spot for female solo travellers, your franchise owner should keep better staff and management team on the ground. I ended up checking out a day early (even though I had paid in advance due to bad behaviour and vibe there) and stayed in another hostel. Thanks.
